Aris blinked as turn 16 ended and she heard Kiki talking. "Oh really!?" She asked when Kiki told her she had a surprise. When she heard Kiki's next sentence, her eyes lit up. "Me too! The feel of it on your hands! The coppery red spray of it against your skin! It's wonderful!" She told Kiki happily. "No wonder we're friends!" Magnus tasted blood in his mouth as well, but he didn't like it too much. He spat out a mouthful of blood before looking over at the two girls. "Kiki....you're stronger than I thought. You really are giving it everything you have...I wish....we could win this. But....there's something more important I need you to know.....for us to be partners..." He tried to finish his sentence before coughing up more blood and struggling to breathe, unable to continue talking. "Wow that sounds really important! I hope you get to know it but probably not since I'm gonna kill you both! Seeya in a few!" Aris raised her katana up in the air. "Shimmer!" She yelled, phasing and blurring just before Turn 17 began. Magnus froze in time looking up at Kiki through his blood-covered bangs, both the pain and the pride in their ability to hold out against this opponent obvious in his face.

As Turn 17 ended, Aris came back to reality to see bullets and fire flying towards her. "Oh no!" She said, eyes widening as the attacks came. Instead of attempting to backpedal out of the way she rushed forward, slashing her katana in quick random strokes in front of her as she neared the attacks. The bullets slammed into her, some electrocuting her and others causing normal damage. The fire washed over her next, causing another level of damage. When she came out the other side her clothing was shredded though all her appropriate parts were still covered. She also had multiple burns and cuts across her body, many of which were bloody. She rolled her neck, still grinning at Kiki and Magnus. "Yeah I think that will probably happen," she assured Kiki.

Magnus looked down at himself, seeing the white glowing and the magenta halo above his head. He wasn't sure what these abilities were doing but he knew he was beginning to feel a little better. She survived her home? What in the world did she go through? He wondered, slowly getting to his feet. And what in the world is Aris anyway? It's like everything we throw at her she just shrugs off... He looked at Kiki and took a deep breath. Whether they won or lost, he wasn't going to let Kiki do it on her own. He focused his energy, a green aura swirling around with the white one. "Kiki. The next three attacks she uses against you won't cause any damage," he told her, his voice making it clear that he wouldn't be dissuaded from using his recovered strength to keep her going.

"No, I'm not an idiot," Magnus replied defensively. Although she was probably right about him getting hurt worse this time. Aris glanced at Magnus before seeing Kiki run towards her. "Woah ho!" She said, jumping over Kiki's scythe arm. She spun around as Kiki got back to her feet. Bullets were intermittently hitting her, causing her to jerk and twitch slightly with each hit. Magnus looked over at Kiki when she asked if he had anything sharp. "A blade...? Well...ummm no I-" Aris looked back at forth between Magnus and Kiki. "Do you need a blade? You can borrow mine!" She told Magnus. "If you ask nicely!" Magnus stared blankly at her for a moment. Normally he would have ignored a comment like that as a taunt but..."Ah...can I borrow your blade please...?" He asked, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Sure!" Replied Aris, tossing him her katana. Magnus was so surprised he almost let it fall to the ground in front of him, but he reached up at the last minute and caught it, looking back to Kiki, a mixture of surprise, confusion and amusement on his face. "Yeah...I have a blade. Why?" He asked, holding out the katana towards Kiki. "Just make sure you give it back when I'm done!" "When you're do-?" Magnus didn't have time to finish his question before Aris appeared behind him, grabbing his arm and forcing him to hold the katana towards Kiki blade first. In the next second she slammed her boot into the small of his back, sending him straight towards Kiki, the blade prepared to ram her through. Mangus didn't have time to feel like a moron as he flew towards Kiki, though he did manage to turn the blade sideways so the flat of it would hit Kiki, not causing her any damage. Not that it would have anyway, it would have just hurt him a lot in a few minutes. As he reached her he let go of the blade, letting it fly towards Kiki flat-side first. Due to his enhanced dexterity he was able to turn sideways and fly past her at the last minute, only hitting her with the wind of his passing. He landed hard on his back a few yards behind her, but all things considered that was a big improvement on the intended damage of Aris's little stunt.

Haha yeah, Aris is a fun character to rp. I've been looking forward to using her in a fight razz

Ha, I've always wanted to be part of an anime writing team. I think she'd be a fun character too

"I was so sure that would work..." Aris said as she saw her attack fail, sounding like a child whose prank had gone wrong. Magnus slowly got to his feet as he heard Kiki. "I've been better," he told her honestly, his voice thick with pain. "But I'll manage." Aris watched as Kiki added electricity to her katana. "Oh are you making it better?" She asked. "Don't worry about it, it's already way awesome! Thanks though!"

When Kiki began her attack, Aris prepared for the oncoming missiles. "More of these?" She asked no one in particular. She dodged to the side at the last minute, the first missile missing her by almost a foot. She quickly held up her hand in the "stop" motion, allowing the second missile to slam straight into it, causing an explosion that obscured her from view. The third missile flew through the smoke, coming out the other end without having hit a target. The smoke cleared as Kiki reached Aris, showing that Aris had crouched down in a ducking position to avoid the third missile. She stood up in time for Kiki to go over her head, looking up and following Kiki with her eyes. Seemingly in slow motion, Aris leaned back slightly and kicked the fourth missile away from her, sending it spinning to the ground several feet away before it detonated. However, this left Aris open to being hit with her own blade. The katana sliced through her shoulder as if it were only empty air, leaving a large gash that sprayed blood across the Arena floor. Aris's eyes widened in surprise and pain. The next missile raced past Aris before splitting and Aris spun to face Kiki. As Kiki's blade came towards her, she managed to step backwards just far enough to avoid a serious blow, though another wound opened up on her torso from the blade. She saw the final missile coming and raised her hand in the air. "Shimmer!" She yelled, the final missile racing through her to detonate against the wall near Magnus. "Gah!" Yelled Magnus, diving out of the way of the explosion.

When the dust cleared, Aris was facing Kiki, blood running down both sides of her torso from the two wounds. I get it... Magnus thought. I was wondering why she hadn't used shimmer to avoid the other missiles, but I think she was saving it for the final one since she knew how the move worked. And if she was saving it for the last attack, that probably means it has a cool-down period. Otherwise she would just use it over and over again to dodge everything...

Aris felt both wounds on her body, looking back at Kiki. "Oh wow, I think you finally burned through my base power reserves. I'm gonna have to start tapping into my actual power! That's waaay impressive! I haven't had a fight this fun in so long!" In a flash she was next to Kiki, spinning around to hit her in the side of the head with a round-house kick. But due to Magnus's ability, the boot hit Kiki against the side of the head but caused no damage or pain. I'm gonna feel that one in a few minutes... Magnus thought with a mental sigh. "Oooh he's doing that THING again!" Aris said, soundly slightly annoyed. While Aris had been distracted with Kiki, Magnus had begun sprinting forward and finally reached Aris as she lowered her foot back to the ground. He caught her by the back of the collar, spinning her around and punching her square in the face. He took a small step backwards and launched a high kick straight into her chin. He then stepped forward and gave her an uppercut to the jaw, sending her stumbling backwards and straight towards Kiki. "Your turn!" He called to Kiki. Hopefully they could keep her off-balance, hitting them back and forth between each other like a ping-pong ball before she had the chance to recover.
