Mirai flinched then the chapter came down on them. When her eyes opened again, the chapter had changed and she felt a bit calmer now thanks to the drastic change in the atmosphere. She looked around, her eyes going to the castle then "I think this is a good place to take a break..." she said. She knew they still needed to keep on objective, but it seemed everyone needed to probably sit down and calm down since the last two chapters were incredibly harsh. Emma looked around as well before she smelled the air. She gladly wanted to take the offer of taking a break. She was about to walk towards what she smelled and then looked at Herald "You come with me." she told him. She didn't want him trying to shred Mirai.

F A T A L I S██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ As the group consisting of witches and demons proceeded through the book, just now making it to the 5th Chapter. A small portal would appear at the beginning chapter, Lust. Walking out of the portal, was Fatalis, who had been recently made Mirai's companion and guardian doll, so to speak. Looking around the despite world, Fatalis appeared to have been unaffected by the book. Perhaps this was due to the fact that he was not a living being. No matter the reason, Fatalis didn't mind as long as he could make his way towards Mirai. Fatalis saw the bodies of countless demons laying there, no doubt the work of Mirai and the others. Walking around, in search of the portal to the second chapter, Fatalis could hear the sound of many demons roaring and starting to stir. "It seems that they couldn't finish the job." Fatalis muttered as he stopped just as numerous demons appeared around him, surrounding him completely. The demons had regrouped and seemed to have even grown in number since the group was last there.
Fatalis didn't seem too concerned about them, in fact, he merely looked passed them and spotted the portal to the next chapter. Seeing their opponent distracted, the countless demons came charging in at Fatalis, attempting to shred the doll. However, before any could lay so much as a finger on him, a dark light would be emitted from Fatalis' body, causing the demons to stop. Suddenly, the sound of bones cracking and skin being sliced off, filled the area, as the demons were literally ripped apart. Body parts and blood were flung everywhere, the overwhelming smell of the blood completely engulfed Fatalis as he would let out a small sigh, before hovering up into the air and leaving the world through the portal. Entering into the second Chapter, Fatalis was yet again unaffected by it. "Gluttony?" he asked as he could smell the food. This chapter would probably be the shortest as he found the portal to the next one, rather easily.
Exiting Greed, Fatalis would find himself in a world of pitch blackness, suddenly, many voices, both human and demonic, young and old, male and female would begin shouting at him. Fatalis hovered in the world of darkness and listened what they were saying. "Father!" "Mother!" "Love" "Death" those were the only words he could actually make out, until the world of blackness became full of light and revealed that the ones speaking were not his own family but those of people he had not known. There brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, grandparents. It was quite clear what Fatalis was envious of. Even if he would not come out and say it, this scene showed the one thing that he knew he could never truly have and he was envious of those that did.
Just then, Fatalis was transported to a bloody battlefield, comprised of both demon and witches, fighting either against one another or with those of the DWMA. Fatalis would see four people, Charlotte, Mirai, Atticus and Vincent. They were fighting alongside the DWMA and on the other side was a man that many knew all to well. His long purple hair and frightening madness. They would be facing off against Divine Hope, their father and Charlotte's husband. This scene would be that of a family torn in two by one single man and his greed for destruction and prideful ways. Divine Hope, a man too blinded by his own ambitions, to see how his family had been forced to stand against him.
After the scene faded once more, Fatalis found himself back into the world of blackness, he would say nothing as it appeared that despite not being affected by the other chapters, Envy was the very first to truly get to him. suddenly, a bright light appeared before him. "The portal to the next chapter." he muttered before looking back at the world of blackness and letting out a small sigh, "Envy, huh?" With that, Fatalis entered the next chapter, known as Wrath. Upon entering this chapter, Fatalis appeared in the air and saw a world of red. There would be blazing fires, crumbling and decayed buildings, the overall scene was more than enough to cause even the sanest of person to become filled with rage. Landing on a partly decomposed building, Fatalis took this chance to rest up his powers. He could sense that he was fairly close to Mirai, which meant that they were in the next Chapter or at least pretty close.
It was odd that instead of going on, Fatalis decided to rest in this place, the temperature would be extremely and puddles of lava began to erupt. This was strangely reminiscent of his time in the afterlife, before being resurrected, quite literally, this reminded him of hell and that soothed him for some reason. However, the tranquil time would be interrupting by that of a rumbling noise coming from deep below him. Standing up on the building, Fatalis pushed himself off, just in time, as the building had been engulfed in a massive geyser of lava. "It seems that it is time for me to take my leave." Fatalis stated as he flew around in the air, searching for the portal or exit out of the chapter, but it seemed that he did not have to, as the page itself turned and transported Fatalis into the next chapter.
Once more, Fatalis would find himself hovering in the air, the scene was that of a castle and garden, the skies were clear and sunny. Crossing his arms, Fatalis scoured the area, Mirai's soul was still present, she was definitely in this chapter and so were the others. What more, they seem to have all stopped moving, maybe they were taking a break in this chapter. "If I recall correctly, the next Chapter is Sloth. Good choice to rest now." Fatalis would say as he decided to go to Mirai. After a few minutes of searching, Fatalis could finally get a good grip of her location. "Mirai, I'm here." Fatalis announced before landing on the ground behind her. He still reeked of the blood from the first chapter, but also smelled like the fire and brimstone from wrath. ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █

Manipulator of Fate PB (Practice Battle) Teacher of DMA ☆═━┈┈━┈┈┈━┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☆ Once the surroundings instantly changed itself, the intense aura around Nariaki just vanished in a snap even his fangs and glowing eyes faded back to normal - unfortunately he started flailing his arms then landed on the ground in a daze. "O.. ow.. why didn't I fly!? ...I must be getting old..." Nariaki said, blinking a bit before looking around seeing the clouds, the castle with the road going over there before looking at the group. Then, something just hit him - his eyes then started to water up fast, looking down to the ground. "...I'm just awful.. why did I say those things back there?! That chapter.. I hated that envy! I hated my envy! It was terrible... completely terrible..." Looking at his hands for the moment only to break down crying while covering his face. His eyes did twitch from hearing another voice, he slowly picks up his head to see a floating cat doll next to Mirai. ☆═━┈━┈┈━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☆ Where: Mission

Mirai perked up when she heard someone. She turned around and saw a small doll there. It took her a moment to determine whether she considered the doll part of the chapter or not. "Oh..." she said, finally recalling something. She knelt down and looked at Fatalis "You are mother's new doll right?" she asked. "You made it here pretty quickly..." she looked over at Nariaki who seemed to have snapped out of it. "It is fine... we all have been effected by a chapter it seems. Just pick yourself back up and make up for it." she told him before looking back at Fatalis.

F A T A L I S██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ With his arms crossed, Fatalis observed how Mirai reacted to his sudden appeaearance and judging by her words, she didn't even know his name. Sighing, Fatalis hovered into the air so that his face was close to Mirai. "My name is Fatalis, don't ever address me as a doll again." he told her as he had a thing about being called a doll. "Also, your mother did inform you about having a companion by your side, correct? Well, that is me. I am here to be of guidance to you, Mirai." As he finished speaking, Fatalis turned towards Nariaki and simply stared at the vampire. "You, you're a teacher, if I'm not mistaken. Why are you behaving in such an uncouth manner?" he asked. Fatalis floated over to where Nariaki was, his overall presence seeming more darker than usual. "You are a man and a trusted friend of Lady Charlotte, would you really dishonor her with such an display of self-pity and sorrow?" Fatalis had a strange way of encouraging others, but at least he was trying. He had been granted a great deal of knowledge about Nariaki. "You wish to be treated like man? To be seen as normal and not a freak? Then be more honest with yourself." ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █

Mirai blinked as Fatalis told her not to call him a doll again "Sorry." she said with a small snicker. She watched as he went over to Nariaki and began talking to him. She decided to take a seat on the bench then, placing Texas on the bench as well. Emma observed the doll called Fatalis. Mirai seemed alright with him so she didn't worry about Fatalis too much. She waited for Herald to respond, ready to yank his tail if needed. She partially wanted to get him back for when he did it to her back in the Gluttony chapter.

N - Kishin[Black / White] N landed and looked up, the light bringing him to his normal form. Approaching Nariaki, he placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm simply glad you are no longer our enemy, Nariaki." Turning his head, he caught sight of the small being from earlier, and his curiosity was flipped. "Oh... What are you, being known as Fatalis? Your shape spurs me to examine you." And with that he did, grabbing the being with his free hand, turning it left and right to observe his stitching and tail. O.C.C: Okay, caught up.

F A T A L I S██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ Before Nariaki had the time to respond to him, Fatalis found himself being pulled, flipped and questioned by the being simply known as N. As this was going on, Fatalis remained quiet for a few seconds before unleashing the power that Charlotte had bestowed upon him. Hundreds of deadly, sharp spikes would erupt from Fatalis' body and aimed to strike N right in his chest, if N did not let go, chances are he would be gravely injured or worse. Unlike the other dolls Fatalis did not hesitate to kill or strike an opponent, even if he or she is an ally. ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █

N - Kishin[Black / White]N reflexes were on par, both the hand that was holding the doll and his free once as well, as it had let go of Nariaki's shoulder, turned metal. The hand that held spikes stopped them utterly, sending them scattered with no actual trajectory onto the floor. The other hand caught the ones heading for his chest, holding them between his slender but strong blades. N spoke. "Perhaps you have not been in the fine Miss Charlottes' company long enough, as her polite nature has clearly not been rubbed off on you. A request for release would have been what that was required, which is what I will do now that you have attempted to strike and end my life indicating your discomfort." N let go of the doll, taking interest in the spikes he held, drifting away in another direction to look them in another light. "But I personally will now only call you doll, as a having a name means being a civil being, doll. Regardless, I apologize for your handling." N had dropped the other spikes onto the ground, heading towards the water display that stood as a entrance to the kingdom. He flicked the spike into the water shortly, his findings being rudimentary to the point that spike was pretty much similar to the ones he could make. O.C.C: N, luckily, is more durable than most so while what usually kills the cat just leaves N annoyed.

"I am not here to watch over you, nor do I find you remotely interesting, so say whatever you wish. Address me however you like, your words are nothing to me." he told N before he would land on the ground. "Think of this as a life lesson. Know your place and never approach someone as you did, you may just end up being killed." he warned. Fatalis then sighed and started walking back towards Mirai, "Nariaki, I will aid you in your endeavors to find who you truly are." Fatalis had taken a liking to Nariaki, whether out boredom or he genuinely wanted to help the guy. ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █

N - Kishin[Black / White]N noted his comment, then left it at that, as he was now attempting to help Nariaki. Something at least they both cared for currently. He would help by attempting to work their way out of this infernal book, if there was a way. N moved towards Mirai, taking a seat with Texas between them. "Mirai. Is this a chapter we have to wait to pass, or can we continue ahead into another portal...? I understand possibly the need for a break, but I grow more tired of this instead..." While the rage subsided, sadness grew in its place. Kouzai was gone again, and N couldn't help Nariaki earlier. He felt lost again, and incapable, wondering if he could ever protect anyone. N just wanted to soldier on... And leave the thoughts behind. Kouzai, N's apparent lost partner, and so many other things... O.C.C:

Looking down at Fatalis hearing what he said made him happy and nodded - Nariaki then walked over to a palm tree and sat underneath the leaves and sighs lightly in relief. "....First thing first." Nariaki snapping his finger, clad in bats which appeared for the moment then vanishes as the vampire was in his normal form again wearing a new outfit now. ☆═━┈━┈┈━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☆ Ooc:

Mirai watched as Fatalis proved to be a bit of a violent type with the group. She looked at N when he spoke to her "We can look for the portal... but there is a reason I said this is the resting stop." she said "The next chapter is sloth... with all of us already worn down a lot mentally and physically from the last two chapters, it would be safe to stay here for a bit and gain back our physical and mental stamina before we take a chance of going into the Sloth chapter." she explained.

N - Kishin[Black / White]T he man leaned down from the back of the bench into his own hands, his ambition driving him to exhaustion. "I see..." He stated, muffled by his hands in his face. "Can you please.... Tell me of the next chapter...?" N was being driven mad by sitting. He moved his hands onto his face to prevent himself from breaking the bench. From here he was trying to stifle his emotions knowledge of what was ahead. He could not sit idly. O.C.C:
