Leo agreed, he never did have many friends since his eyesight was taken from him. He brought his share of the groceries inside quickly and gave a soft sigh. "It'll be a nice change around here to have neighbors who are actually here most of the time and not making drugs. I don't know about you but I'm getting tired of hearing police sirens and radios." he couldn't even count the number of times he woke up to the sound of sirens.

"Hey, I'm the one who has to wake up early to go to work. How do you think I feel?" Asher questioned as he put away the groceries and ruffled Leo's hair. "At least you can go back to sleep whenever you want." He went back to the apartment door once more. "One of these days, we're going to move to a better place. It might take years, but we'll get out of here eventually."

Leo smiled and nodded. "Speaking of sleep. I think I'm going to take that nap now." he said softly, placing his hand on the wall that connected to the hallway and up the stairs so he knew where he was going. Once he made his way to the bedroom Leo took off his normal clothes and put on pajamas for the time. He settled into bed for a few hours of peaceful sleep, or so he was hoping anyway. A couple of hours into his nap he entered the dream world which was really rather unkind to his need for a peaceful nap. Leo couldn't see anything, but he knew he was in a room of some sort. The floor was cold and he could smell a mixture of mildew and something floral but it wasn't flowers, something stronger. Suddenly a door next to him creaked open and he saw the same shrouded figure in the last dream; the next thing he heard was screaming but it wasn't him who was screaming. Leo turned his head toward the high pitched noise and saw the woman from the dream before, same red-orange hair but this time she was alive and in shackles which bound her to the wall. The poor woman's legs were bruised and scarred something terrible, the bruises seemed to darken the farther up her legs went until the black skirt was noticed. The man came in and unlocked the part of the shackles that kept her against the wall; he dragged her away by her wrists as she screamed for help. "No......Stop!!" Leo begged as he watched the woman be dragged away helplessly. "Let her go!!!" Leo cried out as he sat up in bed. His body was shaking, he couldn't believe what he had just seen but he was mostly angry and frustrated about having these dreams in the first place. They seemed to be getting worse and he didn't know why he was getting these dreams in the first place.

Asher had gone outside to greet their new neighbors, who turned out to be two pairs of twins who had also lost their homes. It also seemed to be some strange coincidence that the loud waiter from the diner the brothers had gone to was among them. In fact, he had started the conversation with: "Hey! I know you!" Leo might not be very pleased, since it seemed like he wasn't fond of the waiter. The conversation between Asher and the new neighbors was rather pleasant after that one awkward moment, but it was interrupted when Leo shouted. After apologizing and excusing himself, Asher ran to their room and saw his brother sitting up, looking as if he saw a ghost. "Leo, what happened?" he questioned as he rushed to his side. "Another nightmare? Do you want me to stay with you?"

Leo felt around for his brother when he heard the other enter the room. "Ash go get me my sketch pad and a pencil! Quickly!" he instructed. Leo hadn't drawn in so long, he used to be really good at it. He wasn't sure if a sketch would help but he thought it was important that he do so. Leo was still trembling from what he saw in his dream and he thought he would never sleep again as long as he kept having these nightmares.

Asher wasted no time in getting the sketchpad, though he wasn't sure what it was that Leo wanted to draw so badly. Nonetheless, he handed him the pad and pencil and waited for him to draw what it was he needed to. He knew Leo had been having nightmares for a while, but Asher thought they would eventually stop. This was the first time his brother had asked for his sketchpad in a while, and it bothered him.

Leo forced his hands to steady their trembling, this dream had shaken him pretty badly. After a few minutes he began to sketch systematically, although to an untrained eye it may have just looked like scribbling. After a little while Leo had taken his pencil off the pad and turned the paper around toward his brother to reveal the woman he saw in his last two dreams. "I saw her die in my first dream. This time she was alive but she was hurt." he said softly. "Can we go to a doctor? I'm sure they have some kind of pill to make bad dreams stop...please can we go and find out soon?" he begged his brother.

Asher wasn't sure how Leo did it, but he somehow managed to draw who he assumed to be the woman from his nightmares. "Yeah, I'll schedule an appointment for you," he replied, though still bothered. The woman's face looked like she was in agony, but he couldn't understand what was important about her. They never met her, as far as he knew, so there seemed to be no reason for these nightmares. "They're just nightmares I'm sure whatever you saw didn't happen." Asher headed to the landline phone and called the doctor they had always visited in the past, asking for an appointment sometime during the week. They agreed that Leo should go to the doctor's office the next day. "Leo, we're going to see Dr. Lambheart tomorrow. I'm sure my boss won't mind if I'm late to work."

Leo nodded and kept his knees tucked under his chin. "Why am I seeing these nightmares Ash, I don't get it. I can't sleep because of them." he said softly, playing the memory of the latest nightmare in his head over and over again. "I don't want to think about it anymore. Can we watch some tv?" he asked softly.

"There's not much on, but I guess we can watch anyway," Asher replied as he helped Leo to the living room. He turned on the tv, which had been on a news channel. They seemed to be reporting a missing person. Normally, Asher would have ignored the news, but the missing person looked strangely a lot like the woman in Leo's dreams.

Leo nodded and followed his brother downstairs to the living room. The news was on but Leo didn't pay any attention to it until he started hearing them describe a woman who had been missing for a week, the way they described her was almost exactly what he had seen in his dreams. Leo raised his head in surprise and moved toward the tv until his nose was about an inch away from the screen. "Ash....thats her! She's the one I saw!" he said rather mortified at first. "Ash we have to do something. We have to!!" Leo cried, genuinely worried about himself. How could he have seen all of this as though he were sitting with the poor woman.

Troubled as he was, he couldn't bring himsepf to believe that Leo's dream would help in finding the woman. Besides, he said she was killed in the first nightmare. "Leo, it's probably just a coincidence," he told him, though he couldn't hide how bothered he was. "Besides, what can we possibly do? It's not like we know where she is, and you said you saw her get killed. The most we could do is locate her body."

Leo looked back at his brother. "How do we know she isn't alive? In this dream she was still alive!!" he protested. "Ash we have to tell someone, we need to tell the police, it might help!" he begged with that sad expression on his face. "Mom and dad would want us to help her." Leo said, pulling out the big guns for begging.

Now Leo's pulled the 'Mom and Dad' card and the kicked blind puppy look that Asher could never refuse. "Leo, I do want to help her, but what if the police question you? And do you even know where she is?" The look practically bore into him. "Ugh... I guess we'll figure it out once we get there. C'mon, let's go to the police station." He took Leo's hand once again and walked with him to the bus stop. The station was pretty far away, anyhow.

Leo kept up with the expression but it didn't seem like he was getting anywhere, just as he was about to give up his brother gave in. They were off to the bus stop, Leo kept playing the two dreams over and over in his head, making sure the picture he drew was in his pocket the whole ride there. He tried to think of anything about the environment that they could tell the police but all Leo was able to see was the dark room and a shadowy figure of a man.
