Herald reached out his hand quickly, catching Atticus's fist in the palm of his hand. The force of the blow pushed Herald's entire body back a few feet but he had effectively blocked the attack. Herald quickly looked around as he realized he was being surrounded by a dark aura. Almost immediately he felt the wavelength begin to slice into him. Cuts and slashes began to open all across his body and he growled angrily. "Far from it," Herald replied to Atticus's comment as he thrust both his arms outwards as if he were pushing something heavy away from him on either side of his body. "You can explain your mistake of underestimating me to your dead father once I send you to him!" Herald's massive wavelength suddenly exploded again as Herald almost maxed out the power he could use in this form. His wavelengths slowly began pushing back against the sphere Atticus had enclosed them in, blue energy shining through cracks that began to form in it as the sphere was slowly pushed outwards in all directions causing the attacks on Herald from it to stop. His arms were shaking as if he were pushing a great weight away from himself. Rather than leave himself vulnerable, Herald quickly took a deep breath and blew a stream of sapphire flames straight at Atticus while they were still in the enclosed space.

Eric nodded at Umbra before turning back to the fight. "Yeah, Atticus countered Herald's attempt of forcing him into one-sided combat by switching it back on him and taking the battle to an advantageous position for himself: Herald being surrounded by a sphere of attacks. Naturally Herald has to escape in order to push the battle back into the wider but still limited terrain between the geysers. But now that he's got him in close what's his plan....?" Eric thought for a moment before seeming to come to some kind of conclusion. "Ah...yeah, that's what I'd do..." he muttered, tapping his chin as he watched. "I mean if I were Herald and could afford to take that kind of damage..."
☽ Emma watched as black energy surrounded Atticus and Herald. It seemed like that for a few moments but then Herald's energy could be seen leaking from cracks that were forming around the orb they were in. "It looks like they are going to get serious in a few more moments..." Shira said. Emma glanced at her then back at the fight "Yeah..." she replied. Shira's gaze went to Eric as he seemed to be closely observing Herald and Atticus' fighting strategies. Emma was doing the same it appeared since she hadn't really taken her eyes off the fight except for a few seconds earlier. "I hope he can hold his temper a bit longer... He gets more reckless than usual when he lets his anger get the best of him... At the same time though it gives his attacks more power as well as giving himself more endurance when it comes to his injuries... It is like a double edged sword..." Emma muttered to herself as she thought back to the times she had fought with him as well as the times she had seen him fight others before. ☾
As the battle continued, there was another wavelength coming in fast. Ellise and Umbra would probably recognize it immediately. Though to Eric, Emma and Shira, it would seem like....Eric's wavelength. That was until it got closer. "The heck...?" Eric muttered, temporarily pulled away from his observation of the battle to see who could possibly be coming with his wavelength. It took him a moment to realize the obvious: it could only be his alternate self. The figure crested the same hill Eric had come over before sliding down and up to the barrier. It was The Reaver, hands in his pockets and a lop-sided sarcastic grin on his face that was a perfect mirror of how Eric looked when he had mischief on his mind. "Heeey. What's with all this weirdly familiar wavelength?" He looked over at the fight where the dark sphere was expanding as Herald continued to push it outwards. "No way! Is that the alternate me in there? Man I'm busy being awesome in this world just like in mine." He looked back at the barrier, noticing Ellise. "Oh. Uh, hey Ellise," he said, sounding like he wasn't happy to see her. "Ah, the reason I didn't answer all your texts was because my phone died..." He was, as he usually did, sarcastically pretending that Ellise was some sort of crazy stalker ex-girlfriend.

Just as expected of someone such as Herald, he would easily stop Atticus' punch and then went on to try and stop Atticus' next attack. While he attempted to push Atticus' energy away and free himself from the encompassing darkness, Atticus tried little to stop him, he actually found it quite amusing to see the beast struggle against such a weak attack, but like everything else, he had thrown at him, Herald would manage to break out of the enclosed sphere and stop the energy attacks from shredding him. "My dead father who was slain by my sister, not someone weak like you." Atticus mocked, before Herald went on to unleash another blue stream of fire at him, this time while the two were still in close range. Unable to do anything, Atticus took the flames head on, having his entire body engulfed in it. However, that was not enough to stop him, emerging from the flames, Atticus tried to counter with a power towards Herald's face, using his mechanical hand. Atticus had survived the blue flames, by sacrificing his jacket, that bought him just enough tome to escape from the inferno, with just a few burns. With his face aiming straight at Herald's face, Atticus was primed to strike, but inches before hitting, the black mark on Atticus' chest had begun acting up once again, Ellise's remedy had seemingly worn off and now Atticus found himself overcome with pain, while it was not enough to hinder his movement, the pain was able to alter Atticus' fist, slightly, meaning no matter what happened, he would end up missing Herald and leave himself wide open.

+ Null Zone: with his powers Umbra can great a zone that nulls all abilities this Zone is revealed by a black aura that covers the ground, it must connect to Umbra of course, when he does this it basically surrounds him, if anyone moves into this zone they are rendered unable to use powers, weapons can stay in their forms, but cant activate anything, miesters are stuck only with their weapons, Black Blood and madness seem to shrink down as if they were disappearing, but of course they are not, the only down fall of this ability is that when using this, he can not use any of his powers, since he is in the zone constantly when activated he must rely on his blades to defend himself,(those who are outside the zone can use magic and magic can go through the zone as long as the caster isn't touching inside the zone. another flaw is that this zone can only reach 40 feet around him. (this is meant to make people actually fight him and not..well use their advantage of powers..we can say its the one ability to make everyone almost Human lol) + Wings of Death: as one would see he has wings which seem very faded yet when looked closely seem like they are simply ghostly bones, but in fact is a death aura that is used to help Umbra move faster, this also allows him to levitate around, really despite being an death aura it doesn't hurt anyone rather if people try to attack it they will miss because it will go through as if it was mist. + Curse of the Heavens:this ability is more of a curse hence the name, it can not affect others because this curse is upon Umbra, this explains mostly of who Umbra is, because this is the whole reason behind why his memory is missing before he became a kishin. This Curse is one of the worst curses one could have because what it does is create utter emptiness within the reciprocate, Umbra, with this emptiness ones face will begin to disappear, and eventually nothing will appear, this will lead to many wearing a hood, this hood is the only thing left to hide the nothingness, as its own darkness f the shadow hides the reality of this part, not only will it do this, ones memory will begin to fade until nothing is left, ones memory is sealed away only to be released upon death. the third fault of this curse is that ones voice because a challenge, the voice is completely destroyed but at times a deep echoed voice will take the place of words, but even then it is rare to hear. + Blades of the Heavens: Umbra wields two weapons both of which are exactly alike, when he is fighting, can change the blades to two different elements, Darkness and light. when consumed by Darkness, the blades become Black even the actual blade part, they act the same way but in truth these blades allow Umbra to swing much quicker and harder, making it sound for Offensive. while on the other hand, Umbra can turn them White these are seen as Defensive, they do not move as quick as the black blades, but rather have their own attribute to defend against magic, or abilities well, it cant negate the power but it can lessen the amount of the magic to a good degree. + Crosses of Diablo: as one would picture crosses being the symbol of heaven and good, but these are different, they are what would find hell. they are pure dark energy, rather its concentrated making it much stronger and more dangerous then normal darkness many could muster. Umbra can fire Crosses at enemies, they go in a straight shot, they are fired from the palms of Umbra, and seem to increase size as they move, + Scythe Blade Enraged Fusion Seal:Umbra using the two weapons as matched as they are can bring them together to create a circle, this Circle soon creates what is to be a energy field, as time continues with this circle, the energy field becomes darker,only to become a dark red color, this attack makes everything seem to shake as if an earthquake is happening all of the sudden. in Umbra's view the target must be within the circles view, when this all happens the dark red disappears and appears under the target with what seems like runes and words under them, soon to follow red light which will surround them, this entire event is meant to act like a seal, it can withstand an army of attacks, and has captured many enemies before, powerful enemies. ☽ Shira looked over to The Reaver as she felt his wavelength. Ellise also didn't look too happy to see him. "Stay in the barrier and ignore him..." she muttered to the others. "Did you two date?" Shira asked, not too surprised since Emma and Herald were technically together... or would be. She wasn't sure yet. "No. He likes to think he gets every girl out there... Because I have to hunt him down all the time, he likes to think that I am obsessed with him." she explained before looking at where the Reaver was. "Why are you here? I thought you would be hitting it off at some of those stripper clubs they have in Death City." she asked. Her sword appeared in hand, ready to fight him in case he came off hostile towards the group. ☾
Herald leaned to the side slightly, even though he didn't have to in order to dodge Atticus's strangely placed punch. As Atticus left himself open, Herald didn't even turn to face them as they were side-by-side. He reached over and grabbed Atticus by the collar, not even looking at him. "What's wrong? Getting tired already?" He mocked. "And your little sister had to kill him to spare him the pain of what I was going to do to him. But she's not here to do the same for you." Herald tightened his grip on Atticus's shirt with this last statement. Then with all his might he pulled back and threw Atticus straight towards one of the lava pillars, intending for him to slam right through it and then into another one behind it.
The Reaver looked over at Umbra. "Hey man, you wanna fight?" He asked, as if he were asking him to play a pick-up game of football with him. Of course The Reaver was joking. A fight would be a bad idea for all involved, considering the amount of power The Reaver and Umbra would release in a serious fight combined with the power Herald and Atticus were already putting out would tear this unstable area to shreds, putting everyone in serious danger of being consumed by the lava. He looked back at Shira when he heard her. "No way....RASHI!?" He said before bursting out laughing. "You look so cute! How come you can't be like that in our world!? Man, can we trade? You guys can keep Rashi and her frilly dresses." He gave Shira a grin when he addressed her question. "No no. It was one of those things where she thought a one night stand would lead to a relationship and I had to let her down easy. She's not the kind of girl who takes "no" for an answer though. So, you know. Well, maybe you don't." He gave a shrug before chuckling and shaking his head. "No we never dated. She's cute though, I mean it. Though Ellise definitely isn't the kind of girl who takes "no" for an answer when the question is "can I kill The Reaver?" It's frustrating sometimes and-wait...there's strip clubs in Death City? Freakin Lily! Why didn't she tell me!? Yeah. Pulling her tail when I get back..."
Eric stepped to the edge of the barrier and looked The Reaver up and down. "Tell me something..." he said before The Reaver looked over at him. "Wha- oh! Hey, me. Another me. Why are there two mes?" Eric shook his head. "It's a long story and I-"-don't feel like telling it? Yeah I know. Fair enough," The Reaver said, finishing Eric's sentence with exactly was he was going to say. Eric returned The Reaver's grin and were it not for the clothing it would be very hard to tell them apart. "Tell me where you got that awesome cape.""Lord Death. He can make some pretty cool stuff when he's not unmaking people.""So you're a bad guy in the other world, huh?""Well I'd say that's relative.""You're a bad guy.""Yup." Eric looked over at Ellise. "What'd I do to get on your list?" He asked her while The Reaver leaned one elbow against the barrier, turning his attention back to Herald's and Atticus's fight, noting how Herald was in some kind of kishin-egg form.
As Herald grabbed the collar of his shirt, Atticus was helpless to do anything as Herald would pull back and throw him towards a row of lava geysers. Atticus would wince, not at Herald's throw, but because the pain from the mark had started to act up again. It felt stronger this time and even caused him to freeze up, but right before he would hit the lava, Atticus was able to clap his hands together. With this, a dome of light or rather holy energy would encompass him, protecting him from the lava as well as the second lava geyser. With the barrier still up, Atticus would crash into the ground, causing it to soften his landing but also break. Just barely surviving that, Atticus would stand up, his body had become bruised, slashes and burned, but even with all of that, plus the mark, he chose to fight, if he should die, he was willing to either take Herald with him, or go down fighting with everything he had. Atticus started walking back towards Herald, "I wonder what would happen if I give Emma over to the Blackwings, do you think that they would experiment on her? Torture her? Something far worse?" he asked, clearly he was trying to provoke Herald, since both were holding back, having Herald unleash his true strength first and stopping him, Atticus would reclaim his pride and dignity, both of which, were taken by him. "That future with her and your child will never happen. Once a beast, always a beast, both of you are nothing but wild animals, that I will put down."
☽"Make up for killing people and reviving a kishin and then we will talk." Ellise told Reaver with an annoyed look as she rolled her eyes. Shira stared at Reaver then "Oh... uh... alright..." was all she said. When Eric asked how Reaver got on her list, she looked at him "I am part of a group that hunts down killers like him. He took out a close friend of mine and I vowed to get him one day after that." she explained. "Followed by all the annoying encounters with him. Trying to kick his butt has become quite a hobby." Emma glanced back towards where the Reaver was before looking back at the fight again, still not saying much. ☾

Herald grinned when he heard Atticus. "I'd be concerned, except that I know you're never leaving this place alive," he assured him. It seemed Atticus had avoided most of the damage the geysers would have caused, but it was still gratifying for Herald to throw him into one. Well, two. "And you're right about one thing. I am a beast, and I always will be." He planted one foot on the ground before shoving off and launching himself straight towards Atticus. He stopped his momentum before reaching him however, and spun himself full around as he kicked out, attempting to give Atticus a roundhouse kick in mid-air. He was aiming again to knock Atticus into a lava geyser. Now that they were perilously placed all over the battlefield, getting knocked into one or even accidentally running into one was a real danger.

The Reaver looked at Umbra. "Haven't I told you to stop smoking the drugs before Umbra? If you ask her questions like that she might take you up on it and then we'll all look like idiots when we're drowning in lava." He gave a slight shrug. "But yes, Lily is in charge as is often the case. Not that I mind; there aren't many people I'd trust as a leader, but she's one of them." He looked back towards Ellise. "Hey, in my defense, reviving the kishin was a total accident. You can ask your friend out there fighting. We were totally WTF'd by the kishin waking up." He looked back towards Emma then. "Hey, ah, cat girl? Could you let me into the barrier? It's a little hot out here." He looked back at Eric. "Yeah..." he began. "Ellise also doesn't like me for killing a bunch of people. But you'd know all about that, wouldn't you? I can see it in your eyes. That's something we share." Eric was silent, his expression turning serious before giving a nod. "Yeah, it is," he replied, his tone neutral. There was a long moment of silence as the two looked at each other. It almost seemed as if some kind of silent communication happened between them before Eric looked away. "Guess that's as good a reason as any..." Eric said finally. The Reaver gave a small smile. "I suppose it is." Eric looked back at Ellise. "No wonder you've been having trouble with this guy. He's....stronger than me. I can tell. I bet he wasn't freed from the arena was he? He left when he was done killing for the Arena Master and wanted to broaden his horizons. That's how. More killing experience..."
☽"Uh-Huh..." was all Ellise said in reply to Eric and the Reaver. She looked at Umbra "There is already a lot going on right now. So, for once, I won't be fighting him. But he is staying out there so don't let him in, Emma." she said, her gaze going to Emma who wasn't really paying attention to them. She only nodded in reply to Ellise. ☾
