"Hey--Hey! I'm talking to you!" Undeterred, Samantha quickly followed after Heidi, walking just behind her shoulder. "That's it, isn't it? You have cards too! That's why you were researching them, right? Why didn't you tell me?" She grabbed at Heidi's arm and stopped, hoping to halt the girl or at least make her turn. "What about all that 'we'll fix it together' you were saying earlier, huh? Don't you'd think I would need to know that?"

"Eh..?" Lucy looked down to Maria's bound wrists, then back up. "But... I told Mrs. Kazuko that I wouldn't, and she said to never ever let you loose, no matter what! And I promised!" Timidly, Lucy approached the bed, and Maria, placer her hands on the girl's shoulders, pushing lightly to try and get her to relax.
"C'mon, you need to rest! Your body has been through a lot, and you shouldn't be up and moving around! You realize you have wings now, right? Real wings, not like before...!" the blonde paused, looking up towards the grand and majestic black wings, "And... you're really strong now, too-- but you should still be good and stay put!"

Heidi had to turn around as Samantha pulled her arm. "What would have telling done to help?" Heidi shook her head and kept walking,"I am just fine, unlike half the others, I seem to be doing fine. " The girl pushed her glasses. "In fact my cards are bland, they lack any center. They are missing something. As long as they miss that, I won't have much to worry about, and instead , can focus on those with actual card problems."
"Now that Tabitha is more violently involved, then... Well, I can be so passive about it, now can I? If my friend is in trouble because of them, then I will do what I must to help her."
By then they were infront of Kazuko's office, just as the teacher came around the corner,"Ah! Samantha, Heidi! "
"Ms. Kazuko, good morning."
"Morning to you too, Heidi," She patted about for her keys and opened her dorm,"What do you two need today?"

"How am I meant to rest if I am tied like a prisoner in my own room!" Maria whined as she was set down,"Hey hey, the wing--" -She shifted retucking them against her her back as she finally rested back in the bed. "But I am not tired! Let me up and let me go!"
She began to restlessly squirm bringing up her bound hands and gnawing on the leather of the belt.

"How do you expect me to trust you if you don't tell me the truth from the beg--" Samantha was cut short upon the teacher's arrival. In her temper, she hadn't even realized they had reached Seijin's room already, not that she herself had become so heated. She tugged at the collar of her hoodie, suddenly feeling like it was suffocating.
"Morning, Mrs. Kazuko..." Samantha said, taking a few calm breaths. "We... need to talk to you about something. We think... no, we know there's at least one other person with cards... A girl named Tabitha. And I'm almost certain there's more..." She glanced quickly at Heidi, almost hoping she would squirm.

"A-Ah, Maria! Calm down!" Lucy tried to persuade her friend, backing away from the bed as she became more and more restless. "It's for your own good, you need to stay calm and relax until Mrs. Kazuko and I can find a way to fix you! You're not supposed to have wings, remember? You're a human, not a Tengy! --Hey, don't eat the belt!" Frantic, Lucy once again got closer to Maria, hovering over the bed and with her hands trying to pry Maria's bonds from her mouth. "Leather isn't good for you! Ah-- Mrs. Kazukoooo...!!"

Heidi knew of Samantha's double edged word, but easily she ignored them. "Tabitha attack Samantha last night, I know she has cards for a fact. She showed them to me."
"Wait a second," Kazuko held a hand up, a small spark of suspicion in her eyes, "You know of the cards, Heidi?"
"My father took a few of the cases when the first incident with them occurred, So I heard about them."
Kazuko looked to Samantha; her expression asking her student just how honest the statement was, while Heidi continued,"We have to restrain Tabitha if she is realy hurting people!"

"Aaaah!" Maria trashed a bit, but once Lucy pryed her belted hands from her mouth all she could do was squirm her wings wanting to spread,"I told you to let me go!"
"I don't care if I am not meant to be like this, I don't wanna be tied okay?!" She tried to find a point to push at Lucy but that was difficult in her situation and position, particularly with her wings in such a prone angle. "Fix me? FIX ME?! Do I look broken to you? I haven't felt this good in weeks!!" Maria's trashing grew stronger, trying to throw Lucy's grip off," My back doesn't hurt, I don't feel exhausted, Its liked I could take on the world! "

Samantha grumbled, sticking her hands inside the pockets of her hoodie and hiding within its expanse. "Yeah, what a coincidence, huh Mrs. Kazuko?" She peeked out from under the hood, wondering which girl the teacher would believe. There was also a part of her that wanted to get back at Tabitha, not really caring if the girl got help or not. She could only assume it was their influence... Or at least, that was what she hoped.
"... We saw Tabitha outside just a few minutes ago, so she's probably nearby. What do you want to do, Mrs. Kazuko..? That's why we came, to seek out your help." Samantha made a small nod towards Heidi, hoping her teacher would understand.

"M-Maria, please calm down!" Lucy grasped around Maria's body, trying to hold the now-much more powerful girl. She was being tossed and bucked with each push, each twitch of the grand wings, as Maria's attempts to escape grew more and more ferocious. "J-Just listen! Maria, it was just to make sure you were safe and okay, you-- you attacked me last time! Even if you feel better, you shouldn't attack people, especially the ones who are trying to help and take care of you--"
One of Maria's thrashings finally dislodged the blonde's grip, and even having been laid across the bed, she was tossed casually to the side, over the other edge of the bed and onto the floor with a soft thud. Lucy was dazed, momentarily on her back, and slow to recover...

"Mh, I see," Seijin crossed her arms pensively, heading into her open door, and to her room's desk, where she took up a clipboard and began looking through the names of students on campus. "I will go to her room and talk to her, if anything for the reported attack.... What did she do to you Samantha? Are you hurt?"
She placed the clipboard down and started going for a medical kit. "She has a big bruise on her side, it looks pretty bad!" Heidi responded.
"Sit down Samantha and let me have a look, we just have make sure you are okay, " the teacher patted at her bed so as to have Samantha sit there.

When her trashing finally paid off, Maria quickly sat up and undid the belt around her ankles in a very efficient manner considering her hands were tied. Hoping Lucy was still too dazed to be up fully, she threw herself over the blonde, flaring her wings and straddling Lucy. Her hand grabbed at the front of Lucy's shirt holding her up just a bit off the floor as Maria tilted forward .
"Alright, seems like I can make demands now~" Maria sneered,"Undo the belts for me, will ya? Hurting a pretty thing like you just wouldn't do~!"

"Hurt...? W-Wait a minute--!" A bright rosy color came to Samantha's cheeks, as first Seijin queried and Heidi answered. "A look..?!" Samantha looked back and forth, clutching at her hoodie and wringing its edges. She had nearly forgotten why they had even come here. Sure, she had shown the wound to Heidi, but she hadn't exactly been in her right mind at that moment! But now...
Sighing, Samantha resigned to her fate and begrudgingly, and shyly, went over to Seijin's bed and sat down. She began to slowly lift her shirt and hoodie together, hiding her blushing face in the clothing that collected around her neck. "...There. It... hurts a lot... That b***h did this..."

Lucy was indeed too slow to recover, only able to shake the dizziness from her head as Maria took up her shirt. This shook the blonde back into focus, to which she stared blankly up at Maria for a moment, wondering how she had gotten on top of her. "Maria...! This isn't funny, get off of me and... and stop being bad!" She grabbed at Maria's wrists, trying to pry her friend's hands from her shirt. Lucy seemed to have gained a bit of strength of her own, as her grip had become stronger as well. "Let... Go..!!"

"Oh god..." Seijin knelt in front of Samantha inspecting the red and purple bruise on the girl's ribs. "That is horrible, she... did she beat you up with an iron pipe?" Seijin's ear appeared once more, the tail again trapped in her shorts. Heidi, who had never seen this before, stared a bit wide eyed. Seijin's ear twitched as she carefully touched about the injury. "Nothing seems broken, its tender, so I suggest you rest till it looses the red colored."
The teacher opened the medical kit and pulled out a small ointment that she gently rubbed into Samantha's skin,"I know you don't like medication, so this creme will reduce the swelling and hopefully lessen the pain. I can bandage your ribs to keep some pressure on it, if you'd like." Seijin handed Samantha the ointment,"Here, you can have this one, you can use it to lessen the pain."
Seijin stood letting Samantha think of the instructions," If your cards work like most, your healing won't take much. A small up side of those cards. Now, about Tabitha, do you know what sort of cards she has Heidi?"
"Ah..? OH right!"
"Her cards are magic related, aaaah poison, experiments, things like that! She never shown me her deck for more than a few minutes. I haven't been able to examine them," Heidi quickly confessed.

It soon escalated into a power struggle. Maria's bound hands though became a major weakness. Soon enough, Lucy was overpowering her, and then she was shoved back off the blonde girl. "Ah!" Her wings recoiled, cringing against her back,"You insufferable--" With a bat of her wings she manage to push to her feet, despite a bit of a stumble.
"I won't let you keep me prisoner like this!" Her wings flared, spreading almost to their full length, the black plumage alive with her heavy breathing," I won't be kept like a caged bird!" She took a step forward carefully keeping her angry red glare leveled with Lucy's," So Let. Me. THROUGH!"

"N-No... it was just her fist. She was strong..." Samantha mumbled softly, still embarrassed, still in pain. She fidgeted and winced while the teacher searched her wounds, the skin and bones still very, very tender. "I can't rest... none of us can, until we see this incident through. I want to pay back that woman..."
The young student gripped tightly at the bed, holding in whimpers of pain while Seijin rubbed in the ointment. It was a little cold, but the massaging motion quickly warmed up her skin. She took the bottle Seijin offered, thinking it over momentarily. "... Y-Yeah, sure... If you could bandage me, that'd be great. Otherwise I don't know how long I'll be able to stand up."
"... Poisons, huh? I wonder how our cards would match up against each other..." She commented, recalling the plague-like nature of her own cards. "I hope... that I'm the one who gets to take her down."

With Maria shoved away, Lucy quickly scrambled to her feet, but by the time she was up, the Tengu had already taken a firm stance. Lucy quickly put herself between Maria and the door, spreading her arms wide, palms flat. "NO! I'm not gonna let you go! I made a promise to Mrs. Kazuko, a-and if you were really my Maria, you would understand that and back off!"
Unbeknownst to Lucy, the tips of her bangs began to subtly change in their color, becoming a soft baby blue at first, but quickly increased in vibrancy as the moments passed. As Maria took a step forward, Lucy took a step back, keeping their distance even. "Maria, please calm down...! I... I don't wanna hurt you!"

"Revenge shouldn't be in our mind at this instant," Seijin responded, getting a roll of bandages and beginning to wrap them around Samantha's abdomen. "Like it or not, that is likely not the real Tabitha. We must focus on getting her mind straightened out and the cards restrain. We may not be able to rest , but you have to, lest you want to hurt worse." She worked as she spoke.
"Now, Heidi, about you and the cards. It is my advice that you stay away, if its true that you have only researched them like a UFO fanatic. These are dangerous, and the gentlest feather can trigger the worst in a host," The teacher's attention returned to Samantha's wound, "You best stay away-"
"What? Of course not! Tabitha is my one friend, the one who has always been by me! I can't... let her to run around crazed! Whether you like it or not, I will find and speak to her! " Heidi was heading back to the hallway,"I will speak to her right now as a matter of fact!"
" You better beware of Tabitha, m'dear," Warned the teacher quietly, knowing she wouldn't slow the bespectacled girl's resolution," Be careful yourself, Heidi." The last part was punctuated by the door closing. Seijin finally finished, sighed and then smiled at Samantha.
"Now that that two story girl is gone, mind telling me the truth? Or what you know anyway," She smiled and stood going to put something on the stove,"Ah, and would you like hot chocolate? It is about breakfast time, but I haven't moved in my groceries just yet, sorry."

"Hurt? Me? " Maria laughed, amused at Lucy's apparent sense of humor," How could a human hurt a tengu?! Even with my hands bound you don't stand the slightest chance!" The vibrant new share of color made Maria stop and pay a little more attention.
"Though... You don't smell like any human I've met before," She spoked staring intently,"No , that smell is much sweeter. But-... A celestial...? Here?" She slowly tried to circle around Lucy, no longer interested in the exit but in the now blue haired girl. "A sweet celestial here? No wonder you smell so well!"

Samantha was further silent while Seijin attended to her injuries, and while she and Heidi spoke to one another. Despite what the teacher had said, revenge remained at the forefront of her addled mind. And she didn't particularly mind that Heidi had left... she still wasn't sure what part of that girl to believe.
She first looked down to her bandages, letting out a sigh of relief, then back up to Seijin. She was happy to be alone in her company, even if her face didn't show it.
"Teacher, I think... I think she has cards, too. Heidi, I mean... she was acting weird earlier, and when I asked her if she did, she completely dodged my question... And, I can't help but think that she's working together with Tabitha, no matter what she says. I feel... cornered... I don't know what to do..."

Lucy took another step back, as a new desire seemed to light up in Maria's eyes. She looked about the room, looking for something, anything to use as a weapon, when she spotted two things; first, a mirror. She could see the subtle transformation that she too had taken. Lucy reached up to undo the tie in her hair, letting her hair down so that she could see it for herself. The second thing she spotted was Maria's own kendo sword, propped against the wall near the door. As Maria circled, she turned and quickly took it up, then faced Maria once more in a stance she had seen the young Captain take many times before.
"I-I don't care what I smell like! You're not gonna get free, and that's that!" A Celestial..? That's what Maria said she was back when...

" She may have cards then. If she is truly acting weirdly, then, I will also talk to her," Seijin said standing," Heidi likely headed to Tabitha's room, so I will check their dorm numbers and go visit them myself." The teacher walked about her room, collecting a sweatshirt and some socks to put under her shoes. "As far as you are concerned, you should try to sleep, rest, and sit tight. Feel free to rest here if you'd like, go ahead and take my bed. As soon as I return I will check on you anyway."
She turned to walk out her door,"I will be back in a while whether you chose to stay or leave, Samantha. Take care in the while!" With that she closed the door quietly.

Maria chuckled still carefully circling Lucy, "Right~ You will hurt me?" Her stance changed, despite not possessing a sword or weapon of any sort , her stance miraged Lucy's. "Having a sword doesn't mean you know how to use it~ " Her feet crossed one over the other, looking for the flaw to exploit in Lucy's unexperienced attempt at looking intimidating; though, honestly she wasn't too shabby.
Finally deciding on an attack, Maria's wing gave a strong flap, pushing to run forward and try to tackle Lucy before attempting to pry the wooden sword the now blue haired girl.

He had to use his hip to bump the door open. ' Mo' wore a large sweatshirt, lose jeans and a cap that had his long ponytail neatly pulled back. In his arms he had a relatively large cardboard box with miscellaneous items. "I'm back Yuuka!" Now he leaned back, closing the door behind himself,"I got the last box o' things."
Mo set the box down and took the cap off with a sigh before wiping at his brow with the back of his hand. Setting down the cap next to the box, he let down his long black hair.
She shook her head and slipped her hand under her hair, trying to shake the stuffy feeling off. "Geez, that took longer than expected," Nora rubbed the back of her head, trying to get her hair to settle down again. "Yuuka?""

Samantha watched and listened to the teacher as she spoke and dressed, remaining on the bed. She really didn't feel like moving anywhere, now that the pain had finally been surpressed. "Okay... thank you, Mrs. Kazuko. I'm still tired, so... maybe I'll rest a little bit here..." She waved after the woman as she left, and moved to lay down on the bed once the door was closed. Exhausted, it wasn't long before the young girl was out cold.

Lucy took another step back, her advisary undeterred. "I've seen you do it plenty of times before! What's there to understand about 'swish swish stab'? It's a sword, not a fighter jet-- Whoa!"
Maria finally made her move, rushing Lucy with a strong force. The psuedo-Celestial flinched, blocking Maria's advance with a poorly placed defensive move. She kept her grip on the weapon strong, however, even as Maria attempted to wrest it free from her person. Lucy turned the "blade" away, before thrusting the blunt handle into Maria's stomach in an attempt to knock her back or at least wind her. She then swung in a wide arc, the blow aimed for Maria's shoulder.

"Ah, sorry, sorry..." Yuuka rounded the corner, wearing pajama bottoms and a white button-up shirt, her hair up in a towel. "I went to freshen up. So, these are all your things? That took quite a few trips... you must be tired!" She took the box of Nora's things into her arms, turning away so the taller woman couldn't grab them. "I'll take these to your room, in the mean time you need to wash up! You look filthy! Go on, scoot!" With the box clutched to her chest, Yuuka pointed in the general direction of the bathroom. "Don't worry, I'll put your things away while you wash, okay~?"

The hilt hit her stomach, then her shoulder. The tengu snarler and made a snatch at the sword taking "the blade" in her sword. She held it awkwardly with both her hands. Her eyes moved down to look at the hilt. Her force weakened, before she muttered,"This sword was a gift from my grandfather." Maria's wings relaxed, hanging limply after a few moments.
She simply dropped down to settle on her knee, shivering lightly under their weight. She suddenly bursted into quiet sobs, her face blushing a soft red. Maria tried to wipe at the silent tears from her face, again the hints of exhaustion returning to her face. "Lucy-" she whined softly trying her best to wipe at her face with her bound hands. "I'm... I- am sorry--"

"Ah-!" Nora blinked as Yuuka came along and took her box, already moving to try and get box from the blonde teacher. Though she was quickly ushered along to the washroom. "Erm-... Okay.. okay!"
Nora hesitantly left her things behind with Yuuka but she was forced to comply. "I will go ahead and wash up then, th-... thanks Yuuka-" She looked back a few times before she conceded to moving away Yuuka and going to take a nice and needed shower.

The sudden reversal of Maria's emotions took Lucy off guard. She stood for a moment, awestruck, simply staring at Maria before she finally reacted, kneeling down in front of her crying friend. She set the kendo sword down by her feet, then placed both hands on Maria's shoulders.
"H-Hey, Maria, it's okay! Don't worry! E-Erm, I'm sorry, I didn't realize what the sword meant to you, or else I never would have...!" She patted and rubbed at Maria's arms gently before moving a hand to brush the hair from her sorrowful features. "I... I know you've been stressed a lot, and in a lot of pain... That's why we're trying to help, but you need to rest for now, okay..?"

"Good girl!" Yuuka playfully stuck her tongue out at Nora, then turned and headed towards the room she had appointed as hers. Even if it was the "guest" room, it was still rather large, and had plenty of space to store all of the student's things and then some. Yuuka made her way to a table and set the box down, and began to unpack the miscellaneous objects within, such as books and other reading material, knicknacks and the like.
As she began to put the things away, she spotted something on Nora's nightstand. Getting closer, she discovered them to be... a pair of glasses? Yuuka tilted her head in confusion. She had never known Nora to wear glasses, even when she was younger... She reached out to pick them up, when she noticed a rather colorful book set next to them. Her hand traveled to that instead, bringing it closer for inspection. Turning it over a few times, she discerned its true nature; "... It's one of those backwards comics that Magdalene reads... Magmas?" Was Nora really into this stuff?
