Alicia Joana Yokai Yakuza I was just wondering about the beast tamer system. 1.Can we start out with a beast,and if so can it be a custom beast? 2.Can beast evolve 3.Is there a limit to the total amount of beast a player posses? >.> I dont see them online but i want to be helpful. XD I can answer #1 for you, which is no, Beast Tamer isn't coming till later and you will have to find one yourself im sure, its not going to be a starting type from the chat i had with Haruhi a while ago. Yeah. Beast Tamer won't be until you're a certain level. As to how to obtain a beast, there was talks about being able to purchase certain types from a specialized shop. Haruhi should be able to fill you in more the next they're on since lately, due to this cold I have, I've been mixing my information up easily. redface

Sorry for the delay but here I am to save the day~! Anyway~~ It's true, Beast Tamer will not be available until you are a higher level. At which point, you will be able to purchase a beast from Beast Tamer shops. This will, of course, start out as NPC shops but being a Beast Tamer Shop owner will be a profession you can choose for your character. In fact, that is the path I am taking with mine. Beast Tamers have the added responsibility of not only keeping track of their own stats and experience, but their beasts stats and experience as well. With a high enough Beast Tamer level, you will also be able to tame wild beasts! You will also, with a high enough taming level, will be able to customize your beasts stats. However, this option will only be available at high level Beast Taming Shops. As for evolution, no. Beasts will not be able to evolve. They will be able to level and will have stat boosts and such, but beasts will not be able to evolve. As for a limit to the amount of beasts you can possess, they will work like equip items. They will stow in your inventory and you can equip only one at a time. The amount you can carry is not limited, but you cannot change your equipped beast outside of a town. Equipment, including beasts, can only be changed within town borders. This means you must plan your day before leaving the village because once you are outside the village or in a dungeon, you are stuck with what you have on.

Hey guys!
I figured I'll do an introduction before I head to bed.
Name's Shuriken, and I've been on Gaia since 2005. I've been roleplaying since then. So 8 years back now...I was 12 when I first came on here and started.
Since then I've been Captain for I believe 2 guilds, Vice-Captain of a few others, and crew in a number. I've helped design some guilds from the ground up, and helped design or tweak D20 combat systems.
I've done several genres: fantasy, sci-fi, steampunk, apocalyptic, horror, and modern. Some of the series I've done are: Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, Pokemon, Digimon, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Soul Eater. Otherwise I usually just find a medieval/fantasy setting to settle into.
Outside of that I'm a college student currently going for Science and Math education. Nice to meet everyone 3nodding
