Yipes struggled to walk away from the brunken circle. IT took him a few times but he finally managed it. Only to stagger back into the story telling circle in time to hear a story about an earthquake.
So that was why he was feeling so dizzy. Grabbing, though it more of a falling, onto the pae telling the story, he tried to pat her back. It may have been her ear. It may have been her chest. It might even have been nothing on her at all. She wouldn't stand still long enough for Yipes to get a fair estimation of where she was at, so he wasn't exactly sure of what he was trying to pat..
"I hates those durn..." He paused, trying to think of what he was talking about. "Oh yeah! Earthquakes. Nothing ruins good pottery like an earthquake." he told her, followed by a big goofy grin.
"An extra challenge." Sunny laughed "You sure are brave although I do not know how well you will do with a a light in bad weather not that it would do any good anyway." Did she explore that was and easy question to answer ."Yeah I explore a lot I can not help it if I do not explore the dead get restless and become unbearable." She put her hand on her head remembering the sound of those voices yelling and shrieking telling her if she did not go they would not be silenced. Sunny heard the laughing in the distance and looked at the group of fairy's talking. "we should listen to there stories many times you can find out information from tall tales." She moved over to the group and listened and when there was a pause in the talk she spoke up.
"You think that was hard you guys are Wussy try getting stuck in an ancient temple in the pitch dark with random holes in the the floor that went down 50ft to jagged rocks. And lets not forget the monster that was hunting me down because I had trespassed into its temple." She smirked "Took down that stupid monster caused it to fall into one of those holes and made it out with out a scratch."
As the female spun her tale, she hardly noticed the very strange -and obviously very drunk- pae floundering around her. That however, was quickly remedied. When she stood in her tizzy, a rather...colorful pae bumped into her side. "Wha-" Pat. Pat. Her eyebrows shot up as his hand went a little lower than her backside. More specifically, his grip had managed to find her derriere. For a moment, she simply stared at him as a blush slowly rose to her face. Tick. Tick. Tick. "Why youlittle...!" Everything seemed to quiet in that moment, making her sudden roll of laughter all the more shocking. She threw an arm around Yipes shoulders. "Faun right? I'm guessing that from the antlers on your head. Can't say I'm fond of earthquakes either after that day!" A cheeky grin spread across her face, replacing the earlier red. "And a bit of advice...May want to wine and dine a lady before you go about touching them like that. But that seemed like an accident, so you'll just have an I.O.U. with me." Erylia had the twinkle in her eye back, finally finding some fun after all of her unluck.
Caléndula, still firmly on the intoxicated end of drunk, decides to try her hand at story-telling. How hard could it be? The wee fairies were spouting off stories so easily, and they were so tiny! Surely it wouldn't be a problem for someone her size.
"This one time," begins Caléndula, a huge smile on her face, "I turned into abug!" She pauses for effect and nods sagely. "Tha's right. A little green an' shiny bug with liiiiiittle iri...irisec...irideksant..." She frowns. "Lil' sparkly wings. An' I had to help th'other bugs because their bug queen was in trouble! Soooo so very trouble! An' so I marched up to the...the bug palace! An' I....FOUGHT my way through the bug guards...cuz they were holdin' the bug queen hostage, right? I was doin' like some flips an' kicks an' craaaaazy fast punches! An' then when they were both toooootally knocked out, I ranasfastasIcould up the stairs to the bug palace!
"An' once I was inside the pug balace, it was like...a huge maze! An' I looked for ever and ever and for so long! I went back and forth, and forth and back, and fack and borth, lookin' for the bug queen, right? An' sometimes at like, a dead end? There'd be like a pot? And I'd SMASH IT with my FISTS and sometimes these lil' shiny green jewels would fall out, so I ate 'em and they made me richer.
"Anyway, long story short, I made it through th'maze an' found the bug queen, an' I rescued her an' took her to the bug villagers, an' everyone was so happy they threw me a huuuuuuge bug party! The end!"
Caléndula looks around for the reaction from the Solamir fairies and the other Pae around the fire. She takes the stunned silence as a compliment.
"C'n I have s'more a'that warm drink?" she asks, looking around.
He blinked at her once, twice, a bit wide-eyed and at a loss for what to say in return. Danori wasn't used to congratulations or really people talking to him in general. He tended to stay outside of the Tree as much as he could, having not yet lost his distaste for such cramped quarters. In fact, he tended to avoid others in general. Too much noise and activity.
"Ah, it's alright," he managed, clearing his throat when his voice came out a bit raspy. She wasn't weird, or really all that overbearing. Danori just legitimately was not sure how to react to someone engaging him in conversation. Sitting up, he glanced around at their surroundings upon hearing her question.
"Change of scenery, mostly. Haven't been up this way yet, and thought it would be best with a group rather than risking it myself."
Not that he was particularly adverse to risk, but there was risk and then there was stupidity.
"Yourself?"

Tizzy would have been fine getting to the tent on her own, but since the angel pae didn't ask her to move, she didn't. It ruined a bit of her fun for him to carry Ruze into the tent he'd set up for her, but she supposed that Ruze getting sick from sleeping outside would be less amusing for the rest of the trek. Linh, Ruze's Mellon, was probably still fast asleep in the demon pae's pack. Typical.
Much later, Ruze woke up with the worst headache she'd ever experienced in her life. "Wow, I feel bad..." she murmured, then flushed when she caught Tizzy looking at her. "Don't judge me, Tizz, I didn't think it would be that bad." She rubbed her head and closed her eyes to ignore the look her wild soul was giving her. And then she wondered how she'd gotten in a tent. Which they were supposed to have made up themselves. So how...wow. Did Noir really put her tent up for her? That was so nice of him. She grinned, feeling a little better despite the way her head pounded as she sat up. "Oh. Whoa. Spinning tent." She did get to her knees however and pull the zipper down so she could peek out to see what time it was, or if Noir was out of his tent.

She smiled and nodded. "He does look cool," she agreed. After Nightwing left the ring, she turned to the third member of their little group and smiled. "I'm Sweetie Belle," she sand and stuck a hand out to the blue teen. She noticed the way she favored one of her arms and frowned a little. "Are you alright? Did you get hurt in the ring?"
Just when Nightwing suggested food, her tummy rumbled and she blushed a little. "Food sounds like a great idea to me," she said. But she was distracted from her hunger by the raucous laughter of the fairies telling their tales. Then Nightwing joined in. She was about to see if the two with her wanted to go find something to eat while the guard was distracted, but she remembered what he was talking about. She hadn't been in the city for the wedding, but her Rarity and her sister's friends had been. She'd heard the story from them, but never the one Nightwing was telling. It helped that he was a good story teller, but she couldn't help but listen as he spoke.
Wild Moon smiled at the other teen that had joined them, giving a short shy kind of wave before directing his attention back to Nightwing in the ring. However, the Night Guard had lost, but Wild Moon found himself smiling still. It was a good match... even for arm wrestling.
However, his attention was diverted with the mention of food. His tummy gurgled a bit and he blushed, covering it with his hands as if that would stop the sounds echoing out towards the others... but then stories began being told. Some caught the teens attention, some didn't, but when Nightwing stepped up to tell a tale he was vaguely familiar with, he stopped to listen.
Once it was over, he shook his head and laughed. "Thats.. not quite how my mom told it." he chuckled. Of course... Princess Luna was known for being a bit over dramatic herself, but she did mention one thing that the teen remembered. He lowered his voice and spoke to a whisper to Sweetie Bell and Nicky. "Mom said he had to spend time in infirmary and she was short handed on guards for a few weeks after." he snickered quietly so as to not let Nightwing over hear. As far as Wild Moon was concerned, he had every right to revel in his version of glory.

After Noir had finished setting up his tent he pondered heading inside, but it was a bit early to go to bed so he found a spot were he could hear the stories that were being told by the fire while being far enough way he wasn't part of the conversation and wouldn't be asked about his exploits.
The stories were interesting, so there were a lot of mines with gems around? That would be interesting to explore. The dangers that seemed to await them in the ruins and mountain seemed terrifying, it probably wasn't best for anyone to explore it on their own. but the mention of ruins was curious indeed, had there been people living here long ago?

Thank the Guardians the group was still there! Fraise huffed and puffed as she ran to the group. How did she get so distracted? And late! Oh how late could she be. Well, they could have been half way up the mountain by now. That would have been late late. As it stood, she was only late.
She slowed down as she got to the campsite, looking over at what the group was doing. Drinking, fighting, setting up tents, telling stories. Oh boy was she late for everything. Well, before she did anything there was someone she had to find. The pink angel began scanning the group for the naiad she had asked to come here with. She at least wanted to talk to him first before the night was over.

Yipes grinnedas sh grabbed him by the shouders. See!? He was making friends. Those devilish little fairies were just mean to him. Grabbing er back, mor to keep from falling than anything else, he shook his head. "Those arent antlers. Those are sticks. I roas my marshmellows up there." Je sagle explained. Then he bent down to show her his sticks. Whdn she offered hi dinner, he shot back up and threw his arms into the air, suddenly distressed. "I would love to eat you. But i dont feally like pae. After all the celebration last night, it was a wonder that the Solamir Fairies were so active ... so early.
Sure, it was daylight before they were up and getting ready to leave, but the sun still rose fairly early at this late summer time of year. They barely seemed affected by the celebrations of the night before, despite how late they had carried on or how much they had imbibed. That may have not been the case for the Pae'il, on the other hand, who did not have the miraculous resistances that the Solamir magically seemed to have in their possession. It was early, they had celebrated all night in some cases ... if they had managed to successfully make their tent after all of that, they might have woken up a bit groggy.

Wolfs Heart
It was possible that Nightwing and Daring Do did not even notice the handcrafted medals that had been placed in their packs. The Solamir had done it while they were asleep... or ... trying to wake up, perhaps? When Daring Do in particular woke up, she would notice that a rather hearty breakfast was made for her. Perhaps they were big fans of the story she told the night before?
((Note: Some of the food may be maintained in the pack for later.))
The Solamir were not there to let the Pae'il relax, though, and any Pae'il who chose this trip should have known that from the moment they read the brochure. This was not a trip about relaxing experiences or time on the shore or wimpy adventures through the jungle, this was about living in the mountain, off the mountains, through the mountains, and sometimes, that was about always pushing forward, even when it was early.
Eventually, they managed to get all the Pae'il up with their banging and their shouting and their outright moving ahead--those that didn't get up after a certain point would find themselves running to catch up; thankfully, they had a map.
It was a bit of a hike uphill, and if they missed breakfast--wait, there was a morning meal?!--some of them might have found themselves growing a bit tired by the time they had reached their destination. That was alright, though, because once they had marched on for an hour and a half, they stopped a bit further up the mountain, one of the Solamir immediately moving to set up a small fire and a small pot hanging atop it. It seemed that they were going to be remaining here for at least a little while.
If a Pae'il was afraid of heights, looking down was probably not the most advisable move, though they were not terribly high up just yet. They were still closer to the clouds, though, and the air had grown thinner and colder. Oddly enough, it felt like there was an updraft coming from lower down the mountain, pulling up towards the clouds and leaving them with a rather annoying cool draft, but it was not terribly significant, and after an initial observation it was probably not terribly noticeable.
For most.
The Solamir Leader--or at least, the leader of this particular expedition--amethyst in hand, moved to address the Pae'il, looking around at the environment once more before he began his formal announcement. "Welcome to what we call the Lower Mines. We are not terribly high up," at that, he laughed, finding some level of humor in where they were located for whatever reason the Solamir found things funny. Perhaps, in this case, he was laughing at the fact that a few of the Pae'il did not seem terribly fond of where they were located already.
"We're going to be here for a little while, so we've settled to take a small rest here. You are free to remain with those who are staying outside... but I think it would be more advisable to take advantage of our location and go into the mines! There are some fascinating things down in those, and I would think that you adventurous types," he snorted, "would be fascinated by what is down there!"
Letting that sink for a no more than a few seconds, the fairy grinned. "Onwards!"
--------------------------------
(( You have multiple options here! Choose one and follow the prompts below accordingly: ))
Option A: Follow the Solamir into the Lower Mines
The Solamir Leader certainly thought that going to the Lower Mines was the most obvious choice, so he didn't exactly congratulate any of the Pae'il that followed him down. If the Pae'il were expecting that, well...
They didn't really know the Solamir that well.
It was dark in the mines, and a lantern might have been of use for visibility. If a particular Pae'il had lost their lantern, they would be best off partnering up with someone who did have one, or they would effectively be blinded by how dark it was. The Solamir seemed oddly unaffected by it, not even bothering to take out lanterns of their own. That was interesting. Could they see down there?
It was probably obvious they could, especially as the Solamir turned around and easily located where the other Pae'il behind him were.
"Alright. Feel free to take a look around the caves. It is most fun if you explore yourselves, after all!" He laughed as if he had said something rather humorous. The Solamir with him seemed to agree with how hilarious this was, laughing as well. Hm. "There are many valuable things within the mines from years and years of use. Many things are down here that even we have not yet found, from days long ago with stories long past." Something about the Solamir's expression seemed to become much more somber now, with the prospect of where they were.
"There have been Solamir who have come down here that have never returned."
He stared directly at every single one.
"Respect the land here. You do not know who has passed through here before." He pauses, before adding, "If you find anything of particular interest, please bring it back to me."
At this point, the Solamir left the Pae'il to their own business. Please go exploring, as directed, but be respectful or there will be many things that will not be pleased.
Pae'il may pick up a maximum of two of these items. The flute, the map, and the tome are unique items and can only be picked up by one Pae. Please only pick up one unique item per player per area. A Flute that, no matter the ability level of the Pae'il, Plays a Haunting Song when Blown Into A Map, Albeit Crude, that Shows the Layout of an Underground Cave System An Ancient Tome laid near a Cave Wall in an Ancient Script Old Lanterns, containing Candles, Partially Used Pickaxes Rope Rubies Small Chests containing Various Items Stones with Runes Inscribed in Them Unrefined Ores Warm Garments
Option B: Remain at the Lower Mines Camp
It's not necessarily bad to want to stay at camp, even if the Solamir Leader snorts every time another "wussy" chooses to leave his pack and settle down near the pot. It's a warm fire, and it is rather chilly up here in comparison to the jungle areas, at least. Perhaps getting some rest before moving on would be a good idea?
The view from up there was gorgeous if a Pae'il didn't have a fear of heights or a tendency to vertigo. It was amazing how small some parts of the Isle looked from where they were, though the Isle still stretched on far, and the ocean was not quite yet visible from where they were camped.
If one looked hard enough, they might have been able to figure out where they called home!
Despite all their talk of wussies, none of the Solamir who kept in camp seemed to be terribly upset about it. Rather, they were merry, clinking glasses and talking about adventures and all of the usual Solamir things that a Pae'il would just eventually grow to expect out of them. Never let it be said that the Solamir did not know how to enjoy themselves, though, and even if their situation outside of the caves might have seemed boring by appearance, they were actually having a lot of fun.
A few of them even seemed to be playing some odd sort of card game, though others remarked that it was such a children's game...
For better or for worse, you chose to relax. You can partake in the food being made, and can even, if they wish, pack some of it away for later--just make sure to seal the soups well or they'll be all over the other stuff you've packed! You can join the card games too, if you wish. Most of the rules seem fairly obvious ... one card hurts another until it dies? ...Maybe?
Card Game
Roll 2d20. First is you, second is them. If you roll a 1, it is very obvious you do not understand this game and the Solamir laughs you out of the game. If you tie, he challenges you to another round!
Option C: Return to Last Night's Campsite
Some Pae'il want to go their own way. All Pae'il do have a map, so if they are outdoorsy enough ... or able to remember what steps they took, anyway ... they could likely get themselves back to their original campsite from the night before. A lot of Pae'il hastily had to abandon the camp, and the Solamir themselves no doubt left a few things behind, correct?
It was quite obviously the site of a party the night before, and while the Solamir cleaned up fairly well, there were still overturned stones, and odd things left on the ground that ... certainly were there previously, weren't they?
Some of the things that were littered around were certainly unfamiliar, but then again, it was dark and most of them were rather ... spirited due to the spirits. It was possible that the Pae'il had simply missed some of these items the night before. Due to coming back, though, perhaps they should collect some of them for themselves?
There sounds like there is something odd in the distance. Some would attempt to listen closer.
Roll 1d100 Roll 1-9
That sounds ... angry. It was a loud roar coming from the left, and the Pae'il dares to look over in that direction, they might see something loud and angry in the distance. It doesn't necessarily seem to see the Pae'il, but they might want to be cautious.
Roll 10+
Ehh... just some wind.
No matter what it was, there were plenty of items to pick up. Perhaps picking up a few would be ideal?
Pae'il may pick up a maximum of two of these items. The medal, colorful feather, and sword are unique items and can only be picked up by one Pae. Please only pick up one unique item per player per area. A Medal with an Inscription in the Fairy Languages A Multi-Colored Avian Feather with a Circular Attachment on the End A Sword with Runes Carved onto the Blade Faded Manuscripts in an Undecipherable Language Faded Manuscripts with Runes Inscribed on Them Handbells Leftover Solamir Celebratory Spirits Pots Pans Silver Jewelry White Fur Pelts

Fraise had failed to find Zoran after looking for awhile, all that running to catch up had left her tired. After setting up her tent she had quickly fallen asleep within it's flaps.
Being the only one who really didn't drink or party the previous night, Fraise had no problems waking up with the sun. She was used to it after all as she spent most of her morning working in her strawberry fields. Though she didn't have a lot of time before she was pushed along by the fairies. It seemed like it was to be a busy morning for all of them.
The morning seemed to fly by before they stopped again, the leader began to speak. He had some sorta...Purple gem? What was that about? Her mind wandered for a bit before she heard something about mines. Mines? There were those who worked on these mountains before? What were they looking for? It was curious after all. She thought for a moment, the mines could be dangerous but...She needed to get braver. After that maze...She shook her head for a moment before following the leader down into the strange mine.
She listen to their leader carefully as he spoke about respecting the land and nodded slowly. She knew that all too well with her field. She watched as he left before nodding to herself. Right...She had her lit lantern, and a little bit of courage. Right. She could to this. She looked down one of the paths and slowly started to walk down the unknown path, keeping her light in front of her as much as she could.
The walls seemed to become narrower and narrower as she walked, if there were anything upon them they had long been taken before she got there. It was scary for the pink female but she needed to press on. Just as she thought the path would end the path suddenly expanded into a large chamber. She blinked as her light reflected off the ores on the wall. She smiled as it seemed to have a haunting beauty to it. She took a step forward to see what was on the wall when her foot stepped on something cylinder. Fraise blinked as she moved her foot and looked down, guiding the light to the object before her. It seemed to be a...Flute? Curious. Why would a flute be here? She bent over and carefully picked up the flute, looking it over before putting it within her bag. This seemed interesting enough to show the leader. She turned around and started to head back. This was enough adventure for her at this time.
Sunny Jones blushed she could not believe how bad her story was Compared to Daring. Hard to explain to others the voices that she hears and not have other treat her like she was nuts. She went to bed before she could make her self look like more of a fool.
The next morning Sunny was one of the first pae up. It was a habit that she had picked up during her adventures. So she was already up when the Solamir were waking up the others she was packing up any of the stuff she had taken out of her bag. Making sure to get breakfast and then she was ready for the hike. Again it was not that hard for her although she felt a little sorry for those who had come on this trip thinking it would be easy.
Once they stopped Sunny listened to the explanation the mines sounded like fun to her actually it was not like she had a real choice she could hear the voices telling here to go there. She automatically pulled out her lantern already guessing it would be dark it was a mine they were dark, unless it was not like any she had been in. Sunny got to the mine and tried to listen to the rules but the voices were getting louder even with her hat on. Although when she heard that some went in and did not come back she wanted to laugh. Once they were let lose Sunny lit her Lantern and fallowed the spirits directions. The had been walking for what seemed like hours seeing strange things on the ground but noting out of the ordinary. She started to wonder if the spirit even knew were it was taking her when she came upon a rolled up piece of parchment next to pickax . The spirit seemed to quiet down as she picked it up and carefully unrolled it seeing what looked like a map of the layout of the caves. "I hope your happy now because getting back is going to be a pain in the a**." She placed the map in her pocket and grabbed the pickax this could some in handy she could use it to mark were she had been hopefully she would find her way out.
Morning came far sooner than needed, with quite a large bang, bright lights, and a pounding headache. Oh... lord... just what had happened anyways? All Sparrow could remember was accepting that drink and then... well... nothing. She was here, with this horrible headache and a rather sick feeling in her stomach. Compared to the Solimirs, she'd hardly had anything either. This must be the true power of spirits; one that perhaps some day she might master.
Maybe. Probably not a useful skill to have in all honesty.
She had hardly woken up early enough to see breakfast, only able to take a small piece of cooked meat before turning away from the rest. Hardly fitting for a growing teenager, but still better than nothing. Even the morning hike seemed to drag on... and on... and on... She just wasn't in the mood right now, especially not for going into some cave. Birds aren't meant for caves.
Rather than join, she simply took her pack (that she had successfully retrieved before those drinks) and her map and let her wings glide her back down to the original site. Hopefully that would be a bit quieter and she could get another nap in to feel better.
Was this really the right place? It seemed so different, even if it was clearly where they had been based on some of the stuff scattered about. A lot of it was different than anything she had remembered being around. Looking around, she was immediately drawn to some silver jewelry, shining in the light, and she picked it up and threw as much of it as she could into her bag. Shinies were never a bad thing.
Afterwards, she looked for a nice tree to fly onto and relax in, soon spotting one. From its base, before she jumped, she found a strangely-colored feather, not completely unlike her own, with an attachment to the end. This... was even stranger, and she shrugged as she attached it to a strand of her hair before flexing her wings to fly up to a tree branch and close her eyes, welcoming a nice nap in the morning sun.
There might have been something sounding in the breeze, but she brushed it off as just the wind.
Guardian_Iris
Returning to campsite; she will pick up the feather and some jewelry (shinies!)
