And yet instead of falling faster and faster, she fell slower and slower. Skaaal looked down, her eyebrows furrowed. What? Her feet managed to reach the ground. Immediately she walked around, trying to make sense of her surroundings. Was this another island? But she couldn't find the edges. Perhaps they were hidden by the fog. she didn't know.
Not that she cared. She paid attention to the orbs strewn across the ground. Skaaal didn't take too much into consideration when she picked one of them up, but upon grabbing the orb she found herself being carried back.
Character name: Klinail Character appearance: Existence in the shape of an unconfirmed shape, there doesn’t seem to be gender or features that could decipher the being from anyone else. And at long last, after a little stumbling, a platform. Yet as soon as she stepped onto it, ominous cracks formed, summoning a figure that glared at her with the heat of an enemy wronged.
She could not help but grin back. The battle would favor her, naturally; that was what angered this one so much.
They fought without weapons, which suited Omega just fine. A blade wouldn't be needed to determine who would win.

Landing on the other platform faces melded in and out around her and all she could was tremble with the same, happy laugh coming from her mouth. She trudged forward, ignoring the faces in the fog. "Come on, come on." Her mouth repeated the words and she stopped dead in her tracks, turning to face an opponent who had appeared near the edge of the platform. Mel'ae continued to grin and studied it for a long while. The sword was a giveaway of a fight and she was oh so happy to oblige.
This, they deserved this whatever it was. She didn't hesitate to strike but moved back, trembling with the same swelling elation. The mass had moved aside and she had not laid a finger on it but she still had that smile...

The twisted expression snarled at her as they fought, but with each blow she continued to counter. Omega's opponent was a little stronger in strikes, but at the same time she felt more substantial than it did.
She would persevere. She would win.

It moved, she moved. Bound to follow it, to do what needed to be done, what she had already done to others. Moving low she ran at it, jumping into it with claws outstretched, scratching at it before jumping back off of its body, sending it falling into the ground with a quake. Underneath her the platform shuddered in the same sort of delight she was also experiencing.
"Gogogo." She repeated, her body was still trembling and her teeth were apparent even among her shadowed body. The same smile, the same pose, she wasn't even aware that her expression had not changed since she'd entered the area.
Or had she been here the whole time? Mel'ae only knew one thing. Betrayal and the happiness that came with.

In her cockiness the tremor continued, preventing her next lunge entirely. There was no disappointment, just a gleam of promise in her eyes as she beheld the figure in front of her. That sword was beginning to take its toll with each swing she failed to dodge.
