She knew that she had to go, but didn't want to leave Niabi with the other girl. When Niabi brought the ice tribe member into their conversation she nodded and laughed. "He can be quiet a jerk, I myself got into a fight with him a few years back. If you do face him, bash his face in for the both of us. And yes Niabi, I will be fighting. In fact I have to go now." she frowned slightly, still not wanting to leave the timid girls side.
"Fight well, if I can I will be watching a cheering you on." she said with a smile and another squeeze of Niabi's hand. "And take care of the pelt, it was made with careful hands. I doubt you find another like it." she said nodding towards Liira before heading off to fight.

Ilyra
Smiling at Sathe she shook her head. "I will be fighting also, so I can't watch." she told the youngling. She looked around and listened at the others talk, nodding when Dyakida mentioned that it would be harder to pull back then her old bow. She would have to remember that for when she was fighting.
"Well I have to go get ready, want to pratice some with my new bow before my fight. Good luck to everyone! Hopefully at least two of us will face each other in the end." she said bowing her head towards Sathe and Aminah, then hugging both Briella and Dyakida. She was so excited that she pratically ran off towards the designated practice area.
Soon after her daughter left Briella nodded. "I too must take my leave. Hopefully we can meet up later, and Sathe can show me her fish?" she suggested with a smile.
"I'll make you proud sister." she said grabbing Dyakidas hand and kissing her on the cheek. She had to make both Dyakida and Ilyra proud, and she would put all of herself into these fights! You never knew, maybe she would win the whole thing.

[Biroki: Dyakida's stand] "Oh, ah..." he took the staff and smiled, "Sure. I'll just do that over here- a few p-paces forward in this nice clear spot..." he said, going on and on with the description for Dyakida's sake. He waved at Briella and Ilyra, "See you two!" he called out. He hoped he didn't have to fight them later, but if so, he would make it fun, he hoped. He walked away to try out the staff for her, but he kept his eye on the customer at her stall. Dyakida was his friend and he would help her out. If this young man tried to make off with any of the goods, then Biroki would be on him with a nice lightning bolt, faster than anybody could run. He tried calling magic into the staff. It was usable, but it was also clunkier than his own staff, like a river with rocks in it instead of a clean channel. He could cast a spell through it, he was sure, but a lot of magic power would be wasted coming out the sides- he could already see it glowing slightly. "I'm going to try a small fire spell, okay?" He didn't want to blast a fireball in a crowd, that would be stupid, but a small sparkly burst of fire, like the sort he did to entertain people, would be a good test. Fwoosh... or not quite. A tiny flash flame did appear where he needed it too, but he almost dropped the staff as some of the carvings flared up and scorched the soft wood of the staff. He yelped and waved his hand to cool it.
[Ruelash: Dyakida's stand] Ruelash ignored the other guests of the Alkidikes's stall. "Yeah. Blades. I like blades..." He picked up one of the daggers to compare it to the one he had. They were different, but it was hard to tell which was better. He put the dagger down. "Do you know a girl called Winta? She makes weapons too. She's pretty good." he said, looking over the arrows briefly. He wasn't so good with a bow, but he knew his sister was trying to be like Veshki. Huh. He ignored the annoying shifter behind him for the moment to think about whether he would buy the arrows. Maybe he should buy her some. Why, though, it wasn't as though she couldn't get some at home. He looked at her wares, thinking a bit more. "Hey. Do ya do... custom weapons or anything like that?"

[Dyakida: At her Stand] "Good luck!" she called after her sisters. Of course you will make me proud. You are wielding my weapons. she thought, somewhat smugly. She nodded towards Biroki, her attention on her customer. "Well, I have a great assortment of blades, the sort favored by my sisters, primarily, but also a number of more utilitarian varieties..." she said, smiling, keeping a feel out for the dagger to be returned. Which one was it... Ah. "Such as that one. Easily and conveniently concealed, sturdy enough for whittling work, yet with a good balance and edge for just about any use. I also have thinner, longer, Serrated blades that would work better in a combat situation, such as hunting..." She felt his weight shift. Where was he... Oh! "Are you also interested in Arrows? I have many varieties of arrows to suit your needs." She was momentarily distracted by Biroki's yelp. She wanted to ask if he was all right, but she didn't want to detract from what could be a good sale. But what her customer said put her a bit off guard. "Winta...?" the name was familiar. Oh! "I think I might have, but it was a while ago... why do you ask?" she hadn't thought much about the inadept leaf tribe woman in a while, though now that she remembered, she also remembered that Winta was the first leaf tribesperson she had met. She wondered what tribe this earthling- because he surely was an earthling- belonged to. His voice was rough and his accent was slightly similar to Rastians... "Custom weapons...? Well, yes. That depends. What sort of weapon were you thinking about and when would you want it?"
Rastian smiled and nodded towards Dyakida, before remembering that she was blind and mentally kicking himself. Dumbass, she can't see you nodding!
"Yep! It's me again! I'm glad to see you!" He replied, admiring the intricately carved wood that she offered him. It was very well done! Carefully, he twisted it around to examine it, and raised his head to tell her how much he liked it, before his attention was caught by Ruelash. Custom weapons? Good question!
"I'd be interested in custom weaponry, too, if you wouldn't mind." He commented, handing the wood staff back to Dyakida. "I also have some crystals and ribbons if you wouldn't mind trading them for spare wood. I have a customer in Sauti who needs some really sturdy wood chips for a project and he can't find any that he likes. It would be a big help to me if you had some extra to trade."

Echowen; Post 2, Bookie
Lots of shinies, yes! He should share them! Echowen agreed, hovering away from the stick that the Bookie was now carrying. He didn't like mean, greedy people, especially if they carried sticks around. Idly, he polished his coin and grinned as it gleamed in the sunlight. Shinies were always so amazing!
After admiring his prize, he peered at Peyla curiously, bright white eyes squinting slightly. She was blue! He liked blue, he liked all colors, colors were great! Then, suddenly, he seemed jolted by something and almost dropped his shiny! My Rastian, have you seen him? He got beat up by a dark skinned man who shot fire at him! He is not supposed to be away from the healers!

Aysun post 6
As the giant of a woman asked if they were here alone he opened his mouth to answer, then closed it, turning to look over at Chandra as he actually spoke up. Aysun gave a bit of a smile, wanting to pat his brother on the head and praise him for actually speaking up, instead he turned back to the strange woman that they were talking with, "Yeah, what Chandra said." He said with a smile, then quickly added, "Uncle Takoda is a Healer really, so it's okay that he lost. We are gonna give him lots of hugs when he gets back." Though he was sure that Uncle Jacin would want to give him more then that which was just not something he wanted to see now or ever.
Turning to look back out over the arena once more, watching for only a moment since he didn't know any of those fighting at the moment, he turned back to the woman before him, "It will be alright though, there are plenty of people aroung to keep the bug people from eating us." He reassured the giantess. No reason for her to worry about them when he was sure that things would be fine. They just had to stay put in their seats and watch the matches was all. Soon enough Uncle Tak would be back and they could give him the hugs that he so deserved. Not to mention that they could always ask him about those bug people, see if he had ever heard of them. He seemed pretty smart so if anyone knew about them it would be Uncle Tak he decided.
Lifting up the globe he was holding with the Menk in it he showed it to Jerarda, "Aren't these neat? Our parents got them for us!" He chirped, seeming to be utterly facinated by the weird, magical creature and its ability to live in the jar without need of anything from the outside world. It was something special for sure if you asked Asyn and he wanted to show it off to everyone that would look at the critter.

Jerarda Post 8
The older woman raised an eyebrow, true the more energetic one was correct in that one fact, there were a lot of people here...the likeliness of there being any sort of attack was slim. And she didn't want to think of the possibility of the alternative...being that they had a huge war party.
Though it was a bit funny how this boy seem to praise his brother...Chandra was it? About how he spoke up. Then she was being shown strange little fish in glass globes. St...range.
"Ah...they...are very neat.. I see you both have one." There was something profoundly sad...seeing those fish in the globes. They would never leave it she supposed...but how did they not need food?
True..he had spoken up, but he had to say something...still with his brother commenting on the fact he had spoken up he felt himself grow quiet all over again, his face blushing as he fiddled with his own menk globe. The woman seemed a bit sad when Asyurn showed her his menk, he had to wonder why exactly.
Blinking as he realized the giant woman was looking at his menk, as she had commented that they both had one and he couldn't help but semi hide behind his brother. It wasn't that he was afraid, he...just...wished mommy was here.

Niabi || At Liira's stall (post 7)
Niabi squirmed inwardly at more mentioning of bashing faces in. It was all so brutal, but she knew that they weren't being serious... well, Zuri wasn't. She didn't really know if Liira was joking or not. The way she was fuming about that ice earthling, she might very well be serious. But she tried to shrug it off as good fun and laughed nervously at the two of them.
Zuri gave another squeeze of her hand and said her goodbyes. It left Niabi feeling nervous and skittish once more. She didn't realize just how much she had relaxed with a familiar face there. "I'll... see you in the arena then..." She smiled to Zuri and thanked her again for the pelt. "I'll be sure to c-care for it. T-thank you again."
Liira's words felt harsh to Niabi, but it looked to her like Liira was trying to make up for it. She winced at the mention of breaking her spirit, but smiled sadly at the thought of having to toughen up. It was something she heard all too often from her mothers and knew the words to be true. She needed some backbone. "I kn-know. I just hope I don't have to f-face you in battle. I c-can't imagine it ending well." She laughed nervously.
She stroked her pelt in her hands once more before tugging on a piece of hair. "I... should probably get going also... the b-battles are starting soon..." She smiled to Liira. "It was nice to have met you... and t-thank you for the fur."

Liira || At her stall (post 7)
Liira waved a short, rough wave to Zuri as she left. If Liira wasn't so grouchy about being here in the first place, she might have wanted to get to know her better. This Alkidike on the other hand... well she had little to no patience with people like her. Too nervous all the time. and her stutter was a bit of a turn off on the whole thing. Liira felt like she was half Niabi's size and had more force in her small body than this giant woman in front of her.
She let out a short chuckle and couldn't help herself. "I can't imagine it ending well either. I mean, Bergchi knows, you don't have a bone in your body that looks like it fights." She didn't know if this Alkidike even knew what the expression meant but it didn't matter too much. The Alkidike was already getting ready to say her goodbyes. Well, probably better that way anyways. The horns were blaring for the fights to start and she was ready to pound some faces in. "Well... good luck and all that crap. Don't muck up the fur, you probably won't get another one of those in your life."
She started to pull all of the furs from the display and pile them together in her safe stack. She needed to get the hell out of here.

Sathe || Wandering the Fairgrounds with Aminah (post 8 )
Sathe was cooing over her purple fish and holding it tight while Aminah paid the old woman behind the stall for it. Aminah put Sathe down to count out the amount and to gather her own fish and Sathe opened her eyes wide at the look of it. Oh! Her Big Sister was getting two! They were so pretty! She squealed in delight before realizing that there was a really big woman at the stall with them. She must be an Alk-ee-deek-ie too! Sathe blushed at her own squealing. But she was just so happy she couldn't help it!
The tall lady asked her a question and it had Sathe concentrating on the answer. What color should this lady get? She looked down at her purple menk before looking up at Amina's colors. Ooooh, that one! "You should get that one!" She pointed to the red and green menk that Aminah was holding in one hand. "That color is pretty too." She said it matter-of-factly. Like it was the only plausible answer in the world.
"My Big Sister has two of them!" She held up two fingers on one hand, while squeezing the fish orb with her other arm tight against her chest. It was almost too big for her to hold onto one-handed.

Kelina mentally slapped herself for getting too confusing for the youngling, at least she got something out of it? "You're exactly right." It was crazy awesome how smart this little one was. "I'm a shifter, both of my parents were shifters. But my half sister is half shifter and half Alkidike. And just as you said, different is okay. If we weren't different, then we'd all be the same, and that wouldn't be any fun would it?" Kelina said, a large smile on her face. She was enjoying this conversation quite a bit.
