So once home ick class finishes up, are we fastforwarding straight to end of school day or is there something else the gms or other players wanted to do first?

Should everybody go to the Coffin Bean to hang or is it just for Spellbound monsters?

Anybody can go, of course, but as it's a game that has to be focused on, anyone not playing Spellbound would probably be discouraged from chatting up those trying to play it. It'd be like someone walking into a Magic the Gathering game and trying to chat up the players.

Just imagine that when you go into the Bean, there's a group of kids in the corner playing the game XD

I'll try my best to log on and post, but for a several days I'll be away for my birthday. heart
I'd rather not leave characters stuck on waiting for me. So if that, I'll see you all next week.

Are there any objections to ending the day and moving on to the second day of school?
Normally, at this point in a storyline, I would be doing a lot of improvised NPC 'guidance' to the players to push them into the right situations, but since we have a lot of novice RPers here, I think we're going to try a different approach.
So here's how the next few 'days' in roleplay time will be working.
Those of you whose characters have been chosen to be hexed into Cirque Sinistaire (if you don't know, message me either via PM on Draconia St. George, over AIM or on monsterhighdolls), think about how you've seen Lin and Nero trapped. Bartleby Farnum and Hagetha Mistie are working on many more traps. What situation will your character be in when Farnum and Mistie try to spring their trap? Will they be at school? At the Maul? Walking to the doomitory? After SKRM practice?
We are going to start with one character, roleplay their 'trap' scenario (as you have seen, they don't take long), and then move to the next character. Basically, you'll be roleplaying a short skit, a webisode, a tiny piece of a day. In this way, we'll move through days quickly while not having anyone sit on their hands waiting for a chance to roleplay.
If you're a little confused, don't worry. smile This is the first time I'm trying to use vignette-style roleplaying. I'll demonstrate how it works this afternoon with Kai Merha, and then I'll message the next 'victim.'
If you're not a victim in a scenario, but still want to show up and react, please do so! If, for example, OC Blackulaura has decided that she's at the maul when Farnum and Mistie hex her, you can easily jump in and just pick up as a part of your regular day.
Kids who are hexed, you're free at any time to start roleplaying how clawesome your new life at the circus is with all of the uhh-mazing chores you do and routines you make up.
Any questions, post them here in the OC thread and we'll see if we can make this work out.

I have nothing against rolling on, I understand that the plot eventually needs a climax heh.
This is also a great opportunity to RP as some less used characters and such. Thanks for the heads up! heart

Yeah figured that for last post from Rory, I was all "oh fine, rp wrapping up..."
Which is a shame as there were a few very small things I wanted to do before we called it a night but eh, it can just be done in ooc I suppose.. or via assumption and "blah blah whatever exposition"
Sadly, I'm really feeling the only having one character thing. I think it was the right choice to get used to the rp setup, but the way things are going I am starting to feel the "sits on hands" thing because I can't throw a secondary toon in to do something while my partners are afk/busy. But oh well, I made my bed, i'll lie in it.

But oh well, I made my bed, i'll lie in it. But there are plenty of characters for Ronan to interact with, and plenty of threads and opportunities to do it in. There's no need to 'sit on your hands'. If you see someone post in the maul thread, jump in. Approach your doomies in the doomitory thread. Post something in the Die-ner or another hangout thread and chances are someone will respond.
