"Just whatever you feel like telling me. What was your home life like? What's it like having a twin? Stuff like that." The girl smiled and moved her thumb over the back of the other girl's hand softly.

Shinju put her finger to her bottom lip in thought. "Well, my mother's a fashion designer. She's off in Paris right now modelling her new line. My father, is, um, a mangaka, aha . . . " He eyes glided upward as she scoped her memory more. "Women in the Mizushima line have gone to St. Spica's school since my great-grandmother. As you know, my sister was Etoile, now I am." She chuckled sheepishly. "Since my mother is hardly home, I'm not very close to her . . . I'm a daddy's girl, aha. Having a twin is so-so. Since we're not extremely identical twins, it is easy to tell us apart. People treat as no differently then separate siblings. What about you?" She tilted her head. "How's your family?"

The girl began to mull that over in her mind a bit, It must be nice to have a father and sibling but I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have my mother. Aiza cast her eyes down a bit before giving Shinju a timid smile, "What kind of manga does he draw? Does he sell a lot? There's only my mother, grandfather and I. Grandpa said I had more distant relatives but I've never met them. I never knew my father either. Mom didn't want me to know but grandpa told me he ran away after she became pregnant with me and never contacted us ever again. I don't care very much really. I'm glad he never came back..." Aiza paused here to take a breath, "We own and live in a small bed and breakfast on the coast and I'm always happy when kids come so I have someone to play with. It's always nice to have company, don't you think? Oh! You can come anytime you like. You and Umiko, even Mari if she wants."

[[ So, so, so, so sorry for putting this on the wayside! I was on vacation, distracted by working on my light novel, and generally feeling like a derp the last week. Hope this reply is good enough! ]]
Shinju tilted her head. "I'm not really sure, ehe. I think he draws for Shonen Jump? I've know nothing about it, though." The Etoile listened quaintly to Aiza's family life, but couldn't help drawing her mouth in a frown. What a terrible man! Though she could never truly understand Aiza's experiences without a father, she was utterly glad such a unruly person was out of her life.
"I'd love that," Shinju replied after catching herself. "After the play -- during winter break -- would be the best time. I won't be busy then and, of course, Umi and Mari would come. Mari would probably sleep all day, but Umi would enjoy it, I think. I'd also like to spend more time with you even . . . even if this doesn't work out. I still would like to be your friend."

"Really? I love Shonen Jump!" as Aiza began to think over the names of the authors while also keeping Shinju's name in mind when suddenly it clicked, "Oh! I've read some of your father's work! He's amazing! The way he can capture the attention of the audience is wonderful and the more calming scene's are always refreshing." Aiza continued to gush about Shinju's father until she realized she was rambling on. The sophomore looked down, face alight in a pink tint, "Sorry, I guess I got carried away."
Aiza felt another smile spread across her face, "Sure. That sounds perfect. And I agree. I'd very much like to be your friend as well. Oh! The bus is here!" Aiza said the last few words while standing, the upperclassman's hand still warmly held in her own. "Ready to go?"
((It's alright^^ really. I understand smile ))

Shinju couldn't help blushing. W-Was her father really that well known? Though she knew nothing of his line of work, the Etoile couldn't help feel proud of him. Maybe she would look into reading some of his stuff . . .
"Ah-" Shinju was caught off guard as Aiza rose. She followed along with her, but stood in place for a moment as she cast her glance back to the looming curve of Astraea Hill as if bidding it a fond and nervous farewell. Finally, looking back to Aiza, she nodded, and affirmed with a smile, "Yes, I'm ready. Let's go."

The smile that she had received warmed her heart. Stepping onto the bus, Aiza paid the small fee and waited for Shinju before finding a nice seat near the window. "Have you ever been to the town before?" It was a bit of a nervous habit and Aiza tended to do it a lot. She would fidget with things she grew nervous. She did it with her hair all the time but this time Shinju's hand was in hers. Aiza played softly with the older girl's limb by opening it in her lap and drawing patterns on the palm.

Shinju's fingers twitched ever so slightly in Aiza's grip from the ticklishness of her finger drawing patterns. The Etoile never took her eyes off the erected member, wondering what was being doodled in the middle of her hand. "No," she admitted. She bent her head sideways to equal Aiza's height and rested it gently on her shoulder. The strawberry brunette's locks melded with the underclassman's chocolate brown curls as she added, "I'm glad to go with you, though." Shinju felt her cheeks heat up a bit. She wasn't sure if her slightly closer gesture was a good choice for the moment. Was she rushing things? Was she not rushing things faster? The idea of courting truly had her mind confused.

The blush spread faintly on Aiza's cheeks as she rested her head against Shinju's and intertwined their fingers. She had never been as blissfully happy as she did in this moment. Aiza felt like she could just melt into this moment and stay there forever. "I'm glad to go with you too," she responded softly. In a moment of impulse Aiza brought the junior's hand up to her lips. Her heart pounded as she lightly brushed her lips over the back of the fragile hand, caressing each knuckle gently before bringing it back down to her lap, "Thank you for coming with me." The bus came to a stop and outside the windows, shops could be seen lining the streets.
