"Got it." Tahlia- for now, she needed to quit forcing herself to do anything other than be the girl who had survived a storm like this and could do so again- ran towards the first mate, got a quick summerization of which ones had been addressed, and went on to help secure all the remaining sails, with the help of the other sailors who, to their credit, didn't seem all that surprised to see her. Not bothering to even consider dwelling on it, Tahlia rushed back up to where Adrian was, slipping only once or twice- a feat for anything who hadn' tbeen on a boat in years- and never for very long.
Reaching his side, she leaning over the railing near the helm, spouting off any observation her sharp eyes noticed that could help save their life- including another ship off their starboard-side, fighting for it's own safety. It appeared to be at a safe distance- for now.

Adelaide frowned but nodded when she was being told to stay below deck. She climbed into the makeshift bed, and pulled the covers over her head. She hated feeling helpless, but if she couldn't stay on her feet was good was she. After some thinking under the covers, she pulled her head out from the blankets and glanced over at her armor and shield. She rolled over to it, following the motion of the boat, and rolled back to the bed, hugging onto her gifted shield. There was no way she'd let it be tossed around the cabin.

Adrian nodded to Tahlias observations. It was clear as day to him. She was MEANT to be a pirate. Be damned what the "Goddess" said. The girl had the sea in her blood. He couldn't believe that she was happy with her life as a priestess. "Does the ship appear to be in distress?" He called out to her, being pulled back to reality after another weave washed over the deck. "If so, I'm going to make sure to keep them in sight. In case they need help after the storm."

Tahlia leaned over the railing, her braid whipping around her, her very soul seeming to be as one with the elements, her nondescript eyes flitting about the ship. "It seems to be holding it's own for now, Cap'n! But it's fighting the sea same as us." She glanced back at him. "I'll keep an eye on it and inform you of changes!" There was a gust of wind strong enough it would have knocked any accustomed to land clear off their feet, but Tahlia just kept her grip on the railing, and her feet steady on the deck. Thank god Adelaide stayed below deck.
Tahlia, now that she'd had a second, could almost feel her soul split in two. The dutiful priestess who, for the sake of survival, had become what she was, and the privateers daughter born with the sea as a mother and the wind as her friend. Which one was she? Holy Lady Arianne Kyoko, or simply Tahlia? Which one was she supposed to be? Goddess, why did you choose me? Turning, Tahlia whipped her hair out of her face and kept at eye out through the rain. "The eye of the storm is that way, Cap'n!" She pointed, able to notice a thinner part of the storm, though it was far too soon for that to be the storm passing.

Adrian smiled to Tahlia, despite the storm. She was truly the daughter of a privateer. "Best to avoid the eye! Calmer, aye, but when ya get back into the power of the storm it hits ya harder." He shouted. "Just keep yer eyes open! I don't want to run aground on a reef!"

((Umm, time skip to after the storm? Only so much you can do during a storm))

((Okay, I will time-skip us past the storm))

The crew was relieved as the sun began to peek, as the ship passed clear of the storm. The other ship had vanished from sight, but the Lunaretic was safe, if waterlogged. Adrian smiled to Tahlia from the helm, "You were a natural out there. And the look of a pirate suits you. Tell your friend that its safe to come above deck, unless she wants to stay hidden below deck."

Tahlia glanced away, already wondering if she had sinned against her goddess too greatly. the odd- and worst- thing was that she didn't feel ashamed. She felt liberated. Shaking it off, Tahlia glanced over at Adrian, nodding. "Thanks. I think she ought to wait below deck for a few more minutes still." Tahlia did know, however, that she needed to reassure her friend that she'd survived the night above deck... but when she went back down, she'd have to adopt the priestess persona again. "We didn't lose anyone, did we?" Tahlia thought she counted the same number of men as before, but being unfamiliar with the crew seh couldn't be sure.

Adrian smiled to Tahlia, "Not one. I couldn't have said that had you not pointed out that rock earlier. Would've run aground. Possibly even lost my ship," he nodded to Tahlia, "I owe you." He called another crewman to take the helm and he walked over to Tahlia, "I may ask you to be a crew member till we reach Homenai. You are an invaluable asset."

Adelaide stumbled on deck, clutching her shield tightly. She looked like she was about to puke. "The turbulent rocking stopped, it's safe to come up right?" She wasn't acting like a holy knight, nor a princess but instead, as a scared and seasick woman. She stayed close to where the stairs led down below deck, in case she was told to go back down.

"Sure, join us. We all look a bit like drowned rats. But such is the price of being at sea during a storm." He said smiling to the knight. "And don't worry, fair skies and calm seas. And your friend....proved invaluable. wihtout her sharp eyes in the storm, we'd likely have run aground. And then we'd all be dead."

Adelaide held on to her shield still, slowly making her way to Adrian and Arianne. She smiled weakly back to the Captain, confused on when he decided to be a bit nicer to her. "That's because Lia's the best at whatever she does." She gave another weak smile, before letting her shield go with one hand. She held her hand out towards Adrian respectfully, swallowing her pride a bit. "I apologize for not respecting you, or your crew. Let me formally introduce myself. I'm the Holy Knight sworn to protect Lia, Princess Adelaide." She didn't make the motion of curtsying, just kept her hand held out.

Adrian smirked as he shook her hand. "Well, I was aware who you were. But thank you for the formal introduction." he said "Aboard my ship, all crew and passengers just call me Captain, or Cap'n Adrian. Depending on how formal you are, and if you speak like one of the sea."

Tahlia smiled with Adelaide came out onto the deck, before restraining her emotion again, and heading towards her, helping her to keep her feet. "Its safe, but are you sure you're okay onboard the deck so soon?" Tahlia glanced away when Adrian said she proved invaluable, supressing the urge to smile at the praise. Her eyes, though hidden, did light up.
When Adelaide introduced herself formally, Tahlia- or Arianne, or whoever she was right now- stepped back to allow Adelaide some dignity. At Adrians introduction, she mused over which she should call him. She ought to be formal, but... After a night waging war with mother nature, struggling just to make it out of the battle alive... Cap'n seemed to make more sense.

Adelaide gave a swift nod and took her hand back. "It's nice to formally meet you, Captain." She went for the more formal title as that's what she had learned from her upbringing. She took a step back and looked at her friend with a smile. "I feel perfectly fine to be up here so soon, which is a little surprising even to me." She looked between Adrian and Arianne, before talking again. "What can I help with?" She rubbed the back of her head. She didn't like to sit arouind and do nothing.

"I don't know, honestly. What skills do you have? I have a feeling you wouldn't exactly be suited to work on the deck. Perhaps the kitchen?" He said looking Adelaide over. "And that's a fine sheild, but you don't need to carry it around on the ship. We may be pirates, but we do have a code of honor. You are a guest, so you need not worry about being robbed."
