♉█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║ ★ ║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█ ♉ ★Kanen'to:kon★ Companionship brought the Native to the Hotel, seeking someone to spend some homely time together, be it through slavery or not- he knew in his heart that there was no one on the outside for him, those not in need. Tori knew exactly where to go to find that someone, however it took a long time to even sort through the paperwork handed to him by the woman at the front desk. Pesky. Annoying little bits here and there. Many profiles he sought through, handing each one he didnt find to fit his criteria back to the secretary. Something exciting, he'd look for, passing a look to the guard as he extinguished the flame on the end of his cigar-- apparently the office seemed friendly enough to point to the non-smoking sign above his head than to tell him to leave.
Such nice people, though Tori wondered why they would keep people-- human or not-- inside such a structure for most of their lives. What if they didnt get adopted within a reasonable time? Were they killed? The Indian approved of a single slave-- though another was bound to come knowing himself and his golden heart. Lead through the hallways, twists and turns guiding him to the commons barracks, fancified cells lining each side of the wing he traveled. There was no use disguising a jail, Yiska could see right through it.
The voice that followed the knock was music to his ears, smooth and feminine, though no doubt lacked any kind of excitement with such a dreary existence. Tori approached, waving his hand to dismiss the guard and leave the two of them in piece. A vampire, he'd read some time ago in this old fairytale his parents had read during their deportation into the states; bloodsuckers and human-hunters. Such a mysterious species and one that definitely caught his eye. To have such a being-- no, to save one such as this. Perhaps it was his love to help that drove him to pick the most dangerous as of yet. "And if there was an opportunity to leave, would you take it?" Mood: Calm Distress: 0%

♊ I'm no lady, I'll take you for a ride ~ I'll go crazy, come on, don't be shy ~ ♊Let's go baby, you know you can't deny ~ I'm no lady╚══════════════════════════════════╝ Wearing: Fashion x x x Looking over at the man who came in, Kasia raised an eyebrow in disbelief. He looked like a strange sort of parrot, his hair reminding her of a cockatoo she'd once seen, but she refrained from any rude comments. If only because he wasn't old and it was sort of appealing - it was odd, unique, and she didn't get to see those sorts of things anymore. Moving from the bed, she got to her feet, but didn't turn off the television or move closer to him. She didn't expect him to stay long. Instead she just folded her arms and looked at him suspiciously, clearly waiting for the other shoe to drop. "It'd depend, who am I leaving here with?" she asked dryly. Even with her heels, he had an inch or so on her, not that she had ever cared about height. She could have been seven feet tall and still wore heels.
The vampiress looked at him with the eyes of a hunter, narrowed and sizing him up. Human, he was definitely human, she could smell that easily enough. Even with the collar keeping her magic at bay, the wards in the Hotel making everyone dull and boring, she could at least smell that. A human. She huffed. He'd be easy to escape from, even with the collar, if he didn't know how it worked. Pursing her lips, she tapped her toe impatiently, waiting for the answer to her question. It was clear she wasn't going to say much else to him, having no reason to. The exchange would be short, probably not nearly very sweet, and then he would leave. It was a ritual she was used to and while it broke up the monotony, she was also annoyed at people bothering her, looking at her like she was indeed in a zoo.

♉█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║ ★ ║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█ ♉ ★Kanen'to:kon★ It appeared this woman thought he was here to browse, though it wasnt the case as he took a seat, fishing a cigar from the breast pocket of his pink shirt, the color very complimentary to his skin tone. "Would you be offended to know I've already gained ownership?" And although it was a word he didnt like to use, it was fact. Tori had made his decision already, he'd motion for Kasia to take a seat, though he was wary of her species and their obvious need to feed. Did they actually give her some sustenance that acted as blood, or had they actually let her feed on a human subject? Neither seemed humane unless they were a willing party.
"Although if you feel as if you want to stay here, you're more than welcome." However, Tori would most likely shop for another, but he would dive blindly into his search and take one that he thought would be rather interesting. Nothing boring or too easy to handle, Lace is something he tried to avoid right out. The Indian figured at least Velvet would be a match, though he wanted something out of the ordinary, like Kasia. "It's your decision after all, I was going to take you out to lunch, I fear their humane ways here at the Hotel might be less than satisfactory for your species." Tori could only imagine what the Vampire had thought of his oh so smooth offer to actually feed for once.Mood: Calm Distress: 0%

He'd already bought her? It was very hard to catch the vampiress off-guard, but he had managed to do exactly that with his declaration of ownership. Hesitating, unsure how to react, Kasia finally lowered herself into the other seat across from him, her movements naturally graceful. "It's hard to offend someone like me, sweetheart, you'd have to get creative," she finally remarked, flashing him a grin that bared her fangs. She liked how people would usually look away, or get nervous, or react like an idiot at seeing them. His offer at lunch perturbed her - he clearly knew she was a vampire, mentioning her species, but she wasn't sure how he was going to take her out to lunch. Unless he meant for just normal people food. It wouldn't sustain her, but it would be something different. "So, what? I get lunch if you buy me? Is that the only perk to this whole deal?" she asked dryly, since that was what it sounded like. She wasn't sure if she was amused or annoyed, but found herself altogether curious as to what this guy wanted. Most people weren't so calm around her, especially humans.
She was a monster, after all. A creature people made horror movies about. "I am tired of getting those stupid IV bags of blood like i'm in a damn hospital. So, what do you want to do with me? Do you have some weird sort of fetish? If you think you can make me behave, I'd suggest getting someone with a different collar," Kasia advised him with a smirk, crossing one leg over the other and watching as he lit the cigar. Smoke had never bothered her, she'd grown up with men and women alike smoking one thing or another. It wasn't like she could get lung cancer or anything stupid, so who cared?

♉█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║ ★ ║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█ ♉ ★Kanen'to:kon★ To Tori, this woman wasnt anything frightening, simply amusing in all ways, though the Indian was aware of her and her needs-- as explained in the paperwork he'd signed before arriving here. "No, it's not the only perk, aside from being freed from the hold of the Hotel, you'll be living with me, regardless of your desire to flee, I will make an effort to keep you housed within those walls I choose fitting." Yiska had a much more complex and strict side, and it was going to be well shown to Kasia as he leaned back in his chair, legs crossing much like hers though both arms came to lay across a broad chest. "There are rules you will follow, and those that aren't will be dealt with." His deep-grated voice paused, one hand leaving it's perch to fondle the back of his head to adjust the way his hair fell against his back and shoulders.
The Indian wasnt at all pleased to hear her talk in such a way, she had yet to learn some respect for not only himself, but for other humans. "As I said, you will be given something to eat. And Im aware you will not be satisfied with human food." He'd instigate further, canting his head to one side so that pink locks would drape over a shoulder and bare the opposite side. Tori motioned with a jerk of a thumb to his throat, the dark skin there was just the right shade to expose the pale blue artery that ran up the side of his neck and beneath his jaw.

Like a human could make her do anything, collar or not, she simply wouldn't listen. She wasn't a pet and was more than tired of people behaving as if she were one. Rules, what was she, a disorderly teenager? Snorting to show what she thought of him and his rules, her attention was caught by the gesture of baring his neck to her. Her lips parted a bit, fangs catching the light as her eyes gleamed. Oh, she was very hungry, and he was very funny for assuming she wouldn't just drink him dry, drain him of every drop. She easily could, but rarely did so. Still, her gaze lingered on the artery, able to hear the blood rushing through his veins, see the heartbeat...a shudder ran through her and she swallowed, forcing herself to lean back in the seat. When had she leaned forward? No matter.
It'd be a simple matter for her to attack him here and bleed him quite a bit before a guard could come in. Oh, she couldn't drain him, but she could rip the artery, let him bleed to death. But she wasn't very murderous unless angry and he hadn't done anything. Annoyed her, perhaps, but also enticed her with the promise of actual, warm blood. Tapping slender fingers against her knee, Kasia pursed her lips. "Hm. So, I get blood. Why would I want to stay in your house, and follow your rules? What, do you run a home for miscreants?" she asked, sneering just a bit at the idea.

♉█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║ ★ ║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█ ♉ ★Kanen'to:kon★ Tori had Kasia right where he wanted her, tilting his chair back on one leg as he reached for the cigar in his breast pocket, re-lighting the smudged end before he would walk to the window and lean his weight onto the sill. "I dont want to make you a slave, though there are things I dont tolerate. Im sure you understand." Yiska would speak around the cigar in his mouth, head turning to glance in the Vampire's direction. "Though I assure you, living with me will prove more.. life-changing than this place." He had things lined up for them, sure it entailed chores and the like, but there was also countless things for them to do; depending if the Indian left here with one or possibly more pets.
"It's not often I have people out near the Ranch, though I suppose I like the seclusion. There are many animals I take care of, most of which I raise just to be my dinner." Tori would go on, every once in a while he would release a breath of smoke, each drag would shorten the life of the rolled tobacco by a significant amount. "Be it just the human race, or myself alone, but it does get rather old being by myself. Although your collar is leather, I feel as if I could make atleast a friend out of you." Honest as always, the Indian was quite honest with Kasia on how he felt about the situation. Mood: Amused Distress: 0%

Kasia didn't laugh often and she was truly amused by that remark. No one had ever said they could be friends with her, much less imply that they wanted to be. It was almost sickening and she wondered just how stupid this man was. Was he an idiot, or calculating? She couldn't tell and that alone was starting to give her new Master, if she went with him, some appeal. He was more interesting that anyone else she'd met in this place. Her hunger was helping her change her mind, that was true, but she laughed for a good few moments before calming down, her shoulders more relaxed than they had been before her little fit. If asked, she honestly couldn't have said whether she was laughing at him, or just at the idea of being friends. Humans were only a few things for her - food, lovers or amusement. Sometimes all three, sometimes one. Either way...oh, it was funny.
"You're a very funny human," she told him. Perhaps because of the colors he wore, or his hair, she assumed he wasn't even interested in women. "I know you must have read my file, you had to have seen that I've killed before, correct? So what makes you think you could be my friend and not my victim? Or at least dinner," Kasia amended with a slight shrug.

♉█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║ ★ ║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█ ♉ ★Kanen'to:kon★ The Indian arched a brow with her insistant laughter, turning around to lean his hip on the wall, a hand removing the cigar from his lips- holding it towards the window as he taps off the excess ash. "I'm not totally sure. It's thrilling to know I could either make a wrong move, or to actually make some progress. And the fact that I haven't yet been killed for my blood is beyond me." Tori admitted, giving a slow shrug as he crushed the end of the tobacco to put out the flame, returning the small bud to his pocket for a later time.
"If I truly was for dinner, wouldnt I be gone by now? Settling within your stomach while my body dried to ash?" A raisin. Ah yes, Vampires often left raisins of foolish humans who had no idea how to settle the beast. Tori himself knew how for the most part, and it was fairly easy to do- but Kasia seemed a little tougher to work through. "I'm sure no victim of yours would willingly allow you to feed." Fear makes blood sour," Kasia replied with a shrug. "I've only attacked people to feed when I had no other choice. Some people have a strange fetish and I don't care for that." Was he wondering why she hadn't already gone after him, with the offer? "I'm not allowed to feed from anyone in the Hotel. Even if you offer. I'll get put in the basement rooms and those are incredibly boring, even more than these are. At least here I can watch television." The vampiress shrugged, sounding annoyed. She really, really would love to take him up on his offer, but she couldn't. The collar didn't restrict her, but the rules did. They'd made it very clear she couldn't bite anyone while in one of these damn rooms or she'd get locked up. Kasia frowned, her mood souring a bit at the thought. A hungry stomach did no one's mood any favors, after all. "I am curious why you'd offer, though. If you'll indulge curiosity. You don't look like you have a strange vampire fetish."
Those people usually looked a little more...excitable, was that the word? Fanatical, odd, even creepy. She liked to avoid them, because who knew when they would turn on her when she wouldn't change them into what she was? It was a deliberate process and one she had avoided her entire life as a vampire. But this man didn't seem like one of those people, but yet he had bought her. And was offering to feed her from his own neck, something that rarely happened from a sane donor. Sure, willing didn't mean in their right mind, but a hungry vampire was not a picky one.

♉█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║ ★ ║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█ ♉ ★Kanen'to:kon★ That's right. Tori should have expected as much, such a horrible thing to do to a creature so dependent on what their race desires. A sigh escaped, carrying the last remnants of smoke that blurred from his lips before the Indian would stand and offer to guide Kasia to the door. "I only feel the need to take care of what is now in my hands. I dont believe I have a fetish." Whether she liked it or not, Tori was in control of her, and he would require a leash until the Vampire learned to abide by his rules and such. A guard was called to the door once Yiska had crossed the room once again, requesting such a controlling mechanism for their way out.
"If you're about done here, we have to catch the next train." Well, being he didnt have to pay, it was easy to say they would be right on their way-- there was no need for a Bungalow stay tonight, Tori had their rooms and a bath waiting back at the Ranch. Texas was a good night's ride on the train, and for sure he'd return for another Pet in the next few months. He had his eyes set on a few here, but he had to get Kasia in line before he could start on another. "Shall we?"Mood: Calm Distress: 0%

As it was, she ground her teeth when the humiliating tool was put on her. It did nothing but make a big show that she was a possession and she felt like a dog - those were the only other creatures she'd ever seen put on a leash, other than the slaves in this place. She had no choice but to go along with it and did so, though clearly unhappy about the entire process. If she was about done there? She couldn't have been more done, pleased to leave, even under these less-than ideal circumstances. If she knew he was planning on getting her 'in line', she would have walked out of the place laughing her appealing a** right off.
"You're lucky we aren't going on a plane," she grumped out as she waited for him to pay, or do paperwork, or whatever they were making him do. Probably sign a release saying they weren't responsible when she ripped his throat out or something along those lines. Not that she was planning on it - though the leash was definitely making her grumpier than she normally was.

m i k a h i should have known that this would happen from the start this kind of function's gonna have to fall apart i guess before i would have sworn that we were friends maybe this problem points towards some larger trend ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The slave Hotel didn't tolerate poor behavior. Gag. It sounded like a bad sci-fi novel. Or a good one, whatever. It was just ridiculous, but he wasn't laughing. Not after two reminders of the policy. He wasn't used to not being on the top of the food chain. Not that, you know, he actually literally ate anything lower, but metaphorically speaking. Out there, he was the big bad wolf. Not by reputation, but nobody else needed to know, just he. He might as well have been invincible; no pack, no rules and no one to answer to -- besides, you know, his parents, but he was seventeen, that was a given. Vampires had just been a fascinating concept, made all the more exciting knowing they really existed somewhere out there. He wasn't all that interested in the whole deal with hunting them all down and exterminating them, really, even if that had kind of been in the job description. It wasn't like he was squeamish about it or anything, he didn't have a soft spot for them. It just sounded like a lot of work and danger and stuff. He was mostly in this whole thing for the perks, you know, like being basically a superhero. Again, without the whole... higher mission stuff. He wasn't obligated to anyone just because he had this power, he hadn't inconvenienced anyone getting it, didn't owe any debts. Like, don't turn and maul a bunch of kids, sure, but besides that he had no more responsibility on his shoulders than any other teenaged boy. He just wanted to graduate high school, get a girlfriend, go to college, get his dream job. Basic stuff. He was super lucky. Despite all his complaining-- his right as a teenaged boy, thanks very much -- life was pretty awesome. Pretty smart, pretty good looking, pretty good family -- give Ellie a few years to grow out of her whole fourteen year old girl thing -- and, you know, a werewolf, how unbelievably cool was that. No reason to mess with a good thing. Vampires were cool to think about, sure, but he could have gone the rest of his life meeting one and, you know, lived with it. And then he'd just had to go and screw it all up. Bitter was an understatement. This was bullshit. This was high level stuff. It gave him chills up his faintly freckled forearms just to think about it all. He'd gotten so stupidly, stupidly in over his head, he'd been so -- cocky, just a stupid, cocky, reckless brat who thought he knew everything, thought he was invincible, thought he had it all under control. For curiosity. For the thrill. He was so blind sometimes, when it came to himself. Hot-headed, impulsive. If it had been anyone else, you know, talking about black-mailing a vampire, he would have realized what a totally stupid idea it was. It was like texting and driving, though. You always think you know something other people don't; you're just smarter, more focused, something. And then you crash. And your whole life goes up in flames. At this point, even if and when he escaped, he didn't know if he'd be able to go back home without putting his family in danger. Maybe they already were in danger. Alex knew they didn't know anything, though, surely... surely he wouldn't have gotten them involved. But then, Alex wasn't who he'd thought he was. He hadn't meant to back him into a corner. Sure, okay, at first, but it had become more than that... he'd thought. God, he felt so stupid. In light of the dangers he currently faced, he shouldn't have been spending so much time dwelling on the relatively short time he'd known the vampire, but for some reason that was what hurt the worst, right now. The betrayal, the idea that all of it had been fake, he'd just been some stupid, naive teenager, playing right into his hands all this time, while the other just waited for the while time to safely dispose of him. It made his face burn, his skin prickle, his head ache... because those were the kinds of strong emotions that often stirred the urge to turn, and it didn't take any more than the merest beginning feelings before the collar acted up to stop the process in its tracks, making his head throb and his stomach turn sickly. He hadn't felt this weak in years, this human, as powerless as any other. He'd never appreciated his wolf side so strongly as he did now, never felt the urge so acutely, so painfully, now that they'd been separated, now that he'd been shut out from that side of him. He needed it. He wanted that more than anything, just then, just to be able to turn, to morph, blast his way through that door and sprint out of there, insanely fast and powerful, slam aside anything and any one that got in his way, to let the fury possess him. He didn't even dread the agonizing pain the metamorphosis always brought, almost wanted it, scream out all the anger and shame he felt, bleed it out of him like a poison. And then he wanted Alex -- wanted to find him. He needed that closure. It was killing him to think that the last time they'd seen eachother, they'd departed as 'friends', that the slime hadn't even had the nerve to oversee him being cruelly ripped from his life, his home, to be sent here, where anything could happen. He wanted to confront him, interrogate him-- and then rip him apart. "You play video games?" Mikah asked incredulously, with a wolfish grin."You sure you even know what a video game is, old man?"
Looking through the boy's collection, in his bedroom, the vampire, who looked no older than the werewolf, pointed out with dry calm, "You know, most of these games weren't out when you were born, either."
"Yeah, but at least we had color TVs," he retorted snarkily, shaking slightly-too-long bangs distractedly out of his glinting, smirking brown eyes, "What do you play, then? Online chess?"
"RPGs, mostly."
"For real? Okay, fine. Uuh let's see.. I dunno, for multiplayer -- I've got Lord of the Rings 3, it's got a co-op mode?"
"-- Sure. Dibs on Aragorn."
"Pf, fine. Normal okay?"
"Sure... if you're a p***y."
"Pf, woah~," he scoffed, "okay, and here I'm trying to let you save face," but he was obviously joking and unoffended. "Hard it is, hope you can keep up. I'm gonna rip you apart."He was sick, short on trembling breath, an acidic burning in the base of his throat. He felt like he was about to vomit, and his head pounded, so hard that the room spun a little, the collar punishing him for that dangerous urge to destroy-- his jaw locked, face tightening in fury, and he hadn't even realized he was snatching the lamp off his bed-side table before he'd hurled it violently across the room, smashing it to pieces against the wall with a crash. He was breathing hard, trembling. That was his second lamp this week; he'd already been disciplined twice. They had no trouble 'handling' werewolves here. It was unpleasant. They hadn't left any marks, of course; they didn't need to. Wouldn't want to damage the goods. His lungs were tight, breathing shaky. He needed to get out of here, or he was going to go mad. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
but I still don't understand what this whole thing's about and all the words that you said are somehow stuck in my mouth and this was going so well but I don't know what I did all I really can tell, is i've been hit i've been hit i've been hit

♉ █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║ ★ ║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█ ♉ ★Kanen'to:kon★ Another visit left Tori to stride down the hall, picking rooms by random while he again filled out the paperwork handed to him by the woman at the front desk. Since he'd been here only the day before, the Indian was already registered and allowed to view those who remained here for the taking. He'd pause at a door, though the ruckus from another had Yiska turn around immediately and head towards the room at which was vaguely silent-- this was the one right? Such noise could only be a slave throwing some kind of fit. Kanen'to:kon mused with himself about entering, though did so rather stealthily; unsure if he should be intruding like this.
"Are you alright?" At first sight, the being looked to be in a considerable amount of pain and it worried the all loving Indian, entering the room but also shutting the door behind him in one move. Feet carried the tanned human across the carpet in long strides, noting the broken glass that littered the floor and the utter turmoil this one was feeling. "Do you need medical attention?" Sincere words, one hand reaching to seize one of Mikah's arms to try and capture his full awareness of both himself and the state of the room he was cooped up in. Tori was a bit skeptical, though he would acknowledge this creature as one in need-- and one he sought out from the very beginning.
A nice, strong set male, teens it would seem by the shape of his face. This one would do just fine out in the stables with him and Kasia. But another set of hands would also be much appreciated if he could gain Mikah's acceptance. He didnt know what to say, having already expressed his concern for the werewolf. That was another issue, however; dont both races of Vampires and Werewolves dislike eachother? He'd have to sort that out later once they returned home if that was the problem. Disoriented, he tried to blink his eyes into focus, the man, the strange, pink cockatoo haired man, shifting places unnervingly before his eyes, and he almost toppled drunkenly back in his hurry to compensate for the way the whole floor suddenly seemed to tilt-- but it wasn't, it was just that collar, and the guy was coming right for him, taking one of his arms, and that grounded him. "Get off!" he snarled, striking the offending limb away hard, with impressively abrupt speed, and paying for it by stumbling back a step with the momentum. He shook his head viciously to try and clear it, like a dog, but unsurprisingly that didn't help-- he just needed to calm down. Flashing mahogany eyes scowled out at him from under dark, striking brows, managing to focus on the figure, but he kept his distance of a few wary paces, breathing short and stiff. "What do you want?" he accused harshly, suspiciously, ignoring the offer of help, too worked up to give the intent behind it the consideration it deserved. "You're not one of them, you don't work here. You're a buyer?"The teenaged boy was dressed in the same clothes they'd brought him in; simple, modern styled jeans, color dark and muted, loose-fit, a pair of skater-style sneakers, an oversized maroon hoodie and an indie band t-shirt. His hair was dark and layered, just short enough not to stray into his eyes, with some thin, grown out highlights. His skin had a warm, sun-familiar look to it, dusted by a subtle pattern of freckles over his nose, and he wore a bracelet of shiny polished, dark wooden beads around one wrist, dangling with the silver pendant of a little seahorse. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- but I still don't understand what this whole thing's about and all the words that you said are somehow stuck in my mouth and this was going so well but I don't know what I did all I really can tell, is i've been hit i've been hit i've been hit
