Ruby stared out the window as the two conversed about where to go. She didn't care just as long as it wasn't the Land of Crows. She didn't want to be disappointed once again, and finding out who she really was seemed like a danger to her friends. They wanted to help her, but it would be best if they stay out of the affair.

Alexis, at the moment, sounded dead set on going to Entei which was understandable. The power source in Entei was shut down for a while, and the only way she was able to communicate was by cell the next day. The albino was sure she had some catching up to do. Laxion, however, wanted to go to the great exchange for equipment and resources. The trip was a reasonable one considering the fact that she needed new armor because her armor was cracked, chipped, and dented from all the battles she had been in.

Ruby honestly didn't know where to go. She turned back to her friends and asked. "How many times can the device work in a day? Will it work for all of us each time? Or if we know for a fact that the area is safe, we can split up only for like an hour or two." The last part wasn't the best idea, but it was effective. Maybe she could go back to Neutral City, and walk around for a while or something. There was always that one city the Headmaster at Hope talked about. Sharp? Shed? Sheep? ...wait, Shard! Maybe he grew up there or something, but he seemed real fascinated with the place. "I guess the place I pick is Shard. I've heard a lot about it from the Headmaster of Hope. Anyway, you guys decide. I'm not the best at making decisions."

Ruby's suggestion was confirmed, and for now everyone was going their separate ways at least for now. "Sounds like a plan." The girl stood up from the table, and walked back out of the fire place where her armor and weapons waited for her. She quickly strapped on her armor and placed her guns in the hostlers before entering the kitchen. "I'm just going to pack some food. I'd rather travel light." She found a rag and laid it on the table. Bread and cheese was her forte so that's what she packed, and then folded the Asian style.

Ruby smirked. "I'll be on one hell of an adventure or gather information." She placed her rings with the others, and the hologram appeared right on schedule. Laxion fiddled around with the disk which shaped the golden orb into Magic Earth. Alexis said they had to press their location at the same time. She didn't know where Shard as, but it didn't take long for Laxion to find all the location for them. That was a relief. It saved her the humility of asking a stupid question. The girl eagerly readied her finger and together the team counted down from three. "Three...two...one..."

"But won't that change teh world? Everything we know could change, and we won't be able to do anything about it" questioned Entei, his eyes holding the weight of his worries. But then Lysander sighed and said "We can only hope she'll have the mind to only change what should be... not that she should meddle with time at all..."
"I can't let her" then warned Lucas, turning on his heel, but he was stopped when Lysander said "You cannot! Lucas-"
"She'll be trapped in time, even if she comes out okay at the other end we all know that jumping out of your timeline means becoming ageless, a figment of reality" he gave an all too-knowing look to Entei before Lucas finally admmitted over his shoulder. "This... isn't Justice..."

"That's just the thing... Lucas Purevelion..." and that paused him, the angel knew something else. "What... what do you mean, Lysander?"
"I mean... Injustira hasn't been seen in years. Justice... has been lost. He fell ill in the Jewel War, and ever since her suffered from a taint, his mind grew shadowed, he became ill. And you should know that we are all too immortal for illness. And then, he never returned from his last visit to the Halls of Justice"
"when... how long ago?"
"27 years ago" the angel replied.

Christmas was another regular day, nothing to exciting or magical about it. Of course, the monks never wasted an opportunity of exert their generosity by presenting the two with new living quarters. The other one was just fine, it even had a spare luxurious room which she assumed it was for distant travelers. However, once or twice she would complain that a fuzzy silhouette image would conjured up in the back of her mind every once in a while so in order to put her mind at ease, the monks moved the two. The albino didn't mind, but the nightmares still haunted her almost day and sometimes day no matter where she was. Laxion was the only one to comfort her now. Luckily, Claudia and Nyru stayed for the first week to assist her in caring for Laxion's aberration. The wound healed, but the scar served as a reminder...although she couldn't remember where the affliction originated.

Before Claudia left with her partner, the blonde decided to give Ruby a mini make-over as a present. She cut the girl's long snow white hair just above shoulder length and styled some of the longer extensions into a sideways braid similar to her hair style. Nyru was kind enough to buy her new clothes and armor before the left Neutral City. The beige elvish dress was soaked with blood not to mention ripped beyond repair, and the golden armor had been dented multiple times during the battle. Her entire dress was made out of sleek black armor plates of different shapes and sized at overlapped each other. Light brown belts secured the pieces into place. This enforced the strength of the armor, but still served as a movable fabric when a weapon hasn't come in contact with it. She also received gloved and boots of the same design and some pieces of armor had elegant formation on them. On that back of the dress, a small cape about the length of the dress, flowed graceful and is colored red like the color of the gem in which her name was given. Who gave her that name again? Her mirythal crystal blade and guns never changed even though she was offered a new weapon by the monks many times.

Ruby's gloves, boots, and guns laid neatly by the fireplace. She had no need to wear them around the house especially since the house didn't contain any dangerous task or monsters. Lucas and Lysandial had been gone for almost two weakness now and she really didn't know what to say to Entei. He was her and Laxion's sparing and magic arts instructor nothing more than that, at least not to her. Laxion had been taking a lot of walks and rest extensively lately which had her concerned. However, Laxion could take care of himself and if she bothered him to much she might accidentally push him away. He is the only friend she has in the world and she couldn't bare to lose him.

The girl had been upstairs in her empty room practicing light magic. She was able to fabricate small balls of light no bigger than her fist. Since she had never been trained in the magical arts, disciplining herself her until she depleted all her energy was a daunting task. Entei would argue with her like a small adolescent child until she performed the "homework" she was assigned. Laxion called for her and immediately she gave up on her assignment, went down stairs, and greeted her companion from the fireplace. "How was your walk?" She asked with a yawn before sitting down by the fire waiting for him to come and join her. She was somewhat sleep deprived by the nightmares, but when Laxion brought it up she would either change the subject or brush him off.
