What kind of format should games be done in?
  Games that are played slowly and casually over longer periods of time
  Scheduled games, perhaps done in phases, where all players come online together for an hour or so and take turns together

i put the light rune on 27 so the villagers didn't run into the revenant horde while they ran to space 1.


instead you've trapped them in here with us long enough for the horde to break through the trees, you could have escorted them back if you were worried about that! Now you've trapped me, clara, the civilians and yourself in this little area giving the revenants enough time to break through the trees. We should have talked about it in here first man.

The Light Rune only stops the enemy from moving. It doesn't stop the enemy from attacking.

... I may not know how much damage the trees had where the horde of revenants were at, but I don't think we need to worry about them within what? Two or three turns later?

But anyway, I kinda don't understand why place the Rune Light behind when the enemies haven't arrived yet while you could have trapped either the barbarian or the tiger when rolled a 4. I would understand if receiving 1 on the dice roll, but for a 4? sweatdrop

He shoulda just gone with the plan I said, it'd have left the mother 100% safe cause nothing could get to her, the barbarion wouldn't have be able to reach the kid and really the kid would only have been attacked by the tiger,

If an unit is trapped in a light rune, it stops all interaction with them, except verbal. They can't move, you can't move onto their space (if ally), they can't attack and they can't be attacked.

Also, guys... the revs have already busted through the thickets. Not only have the tiles changed and the little hp bar vanished, but I specifically say they do in the enemy phase post.

Just noting some flaws/confusion that I'm reading in posts.

You did. However, the problem is that we need to focus what is the biggest threat in the moment: the three enemies that can attack the civilians and Clara or the horde of revenants that were heading their way. But no matter which way you look, it's quite likely that we may lose one or two villagers. sweatdrop

We did have a bit of discussion about rescuing NPCs in the blast, and apparently, it seems we haven't thought about it. sweatdrop

I doubt anyone from the top will seeing as how they ahve their own problems. Also nice to know you are willing to let me die.

A) Clara has a weapon and can defend herself, the children do not and can not.

B) Dead men tell no tales, Clara's the only person who saw Wallace use his light rune and the only one with enough tactical knowledge to guess that if he had that earlier he could used it to save the village (plus shes the only one who knows that he used it wrong again a second time) Meaning that with Clara dead Kiearn and Wallace can tell Rath they did everything they could for the village and Rath will believe em.

Ahahaha.

We thought you guys would have it under control at the bottom. That's why we split it off like that. If you're that desperate, try to recruit Clara and rescue the little girl. Then Clara can get the concoction from you and heal herself. After that, she can rescue the boy and Wallace can go back for the mother, assuming she survives. The mother won't run to the village without her children (considering how she looks back at the daughter), so she will probably follow after you if you take her babies. You can then try to run west. As long as all three civilians + Clara survive, then maybe you won't get such a big punishment for letting the village be destroyed. Kieran should be last one running west so he can drop a mine on space 50. If you can create a chokehold to the west (block the enemies by letting them reach space 59 and have someone on spaces 58 and 62), then (most of) the issues will disappear!

Except I'm pretty sure we have a number of problems trying this as well! Thankfully, rescue only cuts your skill and speed in the gameboy versions of FE, and since that's not implemented in FEF boardgame there's nothing bad stopping you from using rescue. The fewer deaths we have, the better, and this is probably far safer than doing anything else.

Here's your update for almost midway through turn 6.

Revenants in the bottom right corner are ghosted because it's unknown where they are now. That is where they were last seen. They are no longer there!

9 enemies remain! They are:
............ 1 barbarian on tile 41
............ 1 thief on tile 38
............ 1 tiger on tile 32
............ 1 cat on tile 22
............ 5 revenants on tiles 48 and ??? (4 of them are between tiles 24 and 10.)

5 enemies have poison weapons: the barbarian and 4 revenants(1 visible, 3 hiding)

Confirmed poisonous snake traps are on tiles 9 and 12! Avoid them all costs or lure enemies to these tiles!
Possible traps are on tiles 19 and 29!

Nothing spots are tiles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 16, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 27, 28, 36, 41, 42, and 43.
Other guaranteed safe spots are tiles 21, 22, 30, 31, 32, 34, 38, 47, and 48.

Stick to forest and fort tiles for their defense boosts.

The Light Rune on tile 34 will disappear after Wallace's turn.

The thicket on tile 38 only has 24 HP left!
The thickets below tiles 18 and 14 have already been broken.

Next is Sunil (19) followed by Mother (21), Alex (23), Boy (25), Aruna (32), and Kieran (34).

Of the enemies, the thief has the lowest HP (25).
Next is the tiger (26), the revenant near Clara (27), then the barbarian (28 ).
The rest of the enemies have not taken damage.

Clara can still be recruited.

The villagers are moving towards tile 1. The mother seems to stop every other turn to wait for her children to catch up.

Kieran has rescued the little girl. His defense and resistance are lowered by 1.

We can rescue units at the cost of 1 def and 1 res. Stats can't be negative.
