"Is always a password, isn't it." Dorian could only murmur as he shuffled along, following the crowd and just watching, figuring it was easier not to hinder. Stepping near a familiar face, he just mulled it all over.

"Oh, dear. This poor man's bits are awful small." She gestured at one of the other paintings with her cigar.
Glenda was very observant when it came to classical art.

"Let me try," Lucky spoke quickly, if a little distantly, to Mimsy. It turned out he'd been watching the whole time.
"1, 2, 3... 4," he spoke aloud as he input the numbers. He tried to explain his reasoning. "Is vorth shot - is most common four digits. You can invest in so much security to keep out, but if you need in, passvord is very easy to forget."

Maebe really wasn't interested in solving any mystery, but when Jude started looking around, where wasn't much else to do.
Oh wait, yes there was. She immediately started poking under the canvases of the paintings covered up, because she couldn't see through canvas and she was nosy.
"Quick, I think I found the Mona Lisa. Somebody hand me a crowbar."

Mimsy sighed heavily and much louder than anyone ever should unless they were being melodramatic. Oh, wait.
"I have no prior knowledge of fine art, nor am I aware of any different varieties of art. I am a physicist. I do math."
Given far longer than an hour's time, she could math the code into existence. It was a pity this was not a CTC, in which that time would be available. Still, she peered at the request for the four digit passcode. Logic dictated one of two solutions: it was a static number with significance to someone, or it was an occasionally-shifting set of digits, which could prove even more difficult.
"Binary should typically require more..." trailing off, she looked at Lucky. He was far more qualified to determine the potential of binary.
She didn't move to enter anything yet, but looked like she was casually judging everyone who was speaking.

Ofelia held a hand out for the hanky because she was not letting go of the card. Nope, nope.

Immediately unsure as to why she was about to trust Lucky's answer, Mimsy stared and shook her head with thick disbelief.

Heidi glanced the old woman's way when she said something about..small...man bits? She made the mistake of looking.
She blushed, staring. "Uh...that's..um..." Heidi cleared her throat and turned away. Nope. Nope.
The Mona Lisa was a nice distraction. "How will you get it out? Do you have a magically expanding purse?"

The alarm started going off again and wouldn't stop until Maebe stopped poking around. Sadly, this never worked. Maybe next, he should try 1337, or 8008 (Mark would have). OOC Anyone can guess at the passcode. It is in pretty plain view as long as the lean in to take a good look at the flipped over plate.

Glenda made her way to the console.
"Mind if I have a go, dearie?"
She typed in 3 2 2 1 with a soot-stained finger.

Jude casually wandered over and grabbed Maebe's wrist to try and drag her away, "I want to still be able to hear screams of horror when people see me. It is no fun if they just make the face at me."

Ofelia wanted to try as well and since someone mentioned the card she sort of...turned away from everyone and gave the card a pretty little spit shine in order to try and wipe everything off
No one saw that right?

"I'll try anyway," said Ian cheerfully, and slapped Dorian on the back before typing 0,0,0,0 into the console.

Being the direct cause of an alarm intrigued Maebe. As she was dragged away, she leaned back and poked it some more just to make the alarm go off again. It made her laugh.
"Wait, just one more time- just five more minutes mom." She reached out sadly for the paintings, desperate to poke them again.

Unfortunately, as of actions so far, nothing happened.
