He went back to rearranging the dragon's hair carefully, though he did twitch and glance over when people started yelling the word gay. If any word lately had caused him hassle it was that one.

He made a face.

Marcus looked at Bix, eyes narrowing with annoyance.

"I'm married."

Gnat got an annoyed face. "If my hit on you mean with my fist should he prove to be an insubordinate back talking trainee then yes. If you mean sexually, no. I prefer my wife."

Dakota just got another look. No homo.

She couldnt help but stifle a laugh as she heard familiar voices conversing close by. Looking towards Natasha... she couldn't resist picking on a few men. "Its a man thing i think they are all at least a little gay around here, not much of a secret." She gave her best, honest looking, smile towards the girl she didn't know.

Before looking towards Bix, Dakota, and Marcus. Though Marcus got a smaller look than the rest.


Fortunately for Dis... Takeru was actually in tow close by. He was looking his usual, grumpy, closed off self. Arms crossed over his chest and eyes narrowed.

Gale tried not to look at Israfel because it still weirded him out to see someone that he had once talked to in the Haunted House as a weapon now. He sighed, rubbing a hand along the back of his neck and sidled closer to Marcus as though the other could prevent something untoward from happening.

Or not. Marcus was probably a very bad choice.

"Good evening, Dis," said Jinhai serenely, from somewhere above Gale's head.

Peyton remained seated on the edge of the table with her hands now resting in her lap, the fingers of one toying with the thick bandages that covered the other. Bix was earning himself all the weird looks as he went from Dakota, to some girl, to Marcus, to Gnat, and all over the place. He was the friendliest person she'd so far met on the island, and somehow he was in Sun? It didn't compute.

When Gale arrived she didn't immediately notice him because everyone else in the hallway kind of towered over him, but eventually she caught a glimpse of blonde and white hair through the bodies and immediately Bix's offer to hook him and her up flashed back in her memory making her flush all over again. Expression showing an odd mix of a grateful smile for the presence of someone sane, and awkwardness, because, well, reasons.

She was really sick of blushing today.

And then Gnat was airborne. She almost started to protest, before remembering the golems were kind of expensive. If she broke it, she might have to buy it. Instead, she inspected the quills closest to her face - they were somewhat familiar.

"You must be Jerry's guy."

A pause.

"Where're we goin'?" She inquired of Roar's shoulder.

Anywhere was better than listening to Tuck's sexual exploits.

"Of course you can," replied Jinhai with a calm sort of smile, almost a patronizing one, at that, his eyes flickering with amusement as they moved towards Dis. He reached out and patted the other golem's head. "But we were merely passing through, so keep your kisses to yourself."

There was a slight pause, and in a deliberately casual tone, Jinhai asked, "Have you seen Kato?"

"...and on that note," Gale muttered, rolling his eyes. "Hi Marcus."

His gaze moved sideways, catching sight of Peyton across the room, and he gave her a little wave.
