Grex sliced through a few fire elements as he allowed Cattleya to get the people to safety and clear a path. He figured she would do better seeing that the woman was already smashing new holes into the buildings for easier escape anyway. Noticing the, now obviously pregnant looking, elf Grex fought his was over to her, slicing up one of the fire elements that was about to dive for her. " You alright?" he asked in a kind and protective way. " Rest up if you can..I can hold these off. Don't worry I'll stick by your side." he smiled warmly. Grex wasn't all that mean at heart, and due to the fact at how big her belly looked she probably needed some help. He didn't mind, the Elf had helped him out with the dragon after all.

Keera were speechless at Grex's act of chivalry. The normally gruff warrior actually showing some compassion made her blush lightly. "Thank you Grex, I think that thing summoned those here." Keera muttered panting. Her mana reserves were still low and her newly grown stomach was slowing the elf down. She could see an elemental raising its fist to strike Grex from behind. Keera held a hand out and let loose a bolt of pure cold striking the elemental and engulfing the pair in steam.

He gave a nod killing another creature. Watching her cast her magic Grex was pretty impressed. " Lean on me if you need to. Don't worry my back can take it. How long do you think this will last?" he asked her blocking some of the blows and even taking a few hits protecting her. Normally he wouldn't care about women, or protecting anyone, but they were all leaning on each other. Plus, though he tried not to show it, he had a heart for pregnant women. They seemed vunerable to him, large targets for monsters to kill. He wouldn't let that happen to the Elf and made sure to do his best protecting her.

Cattleya, The Charging Guillotine=============================================== Cattleya wanted to go back to check on her friend but she couldn't. Her eyes and ears were locked onto to a very certain set of screams that she couldn't ignore. The minotaur girl was running through fire, through walls, through monsters as she made her way to where she was hearing. The screams of a bunch of kids about to get burned by the remaining monters. "don't you dare!" She screamed towards the monsters as she began to slaughter the fire elementals in a ballet of attacks with the axe she wields, when all the elementals lay in ash she gently went to the crying children, "shhhh there there... well find your family..." she said sweetly far different from her normal attitude as she hugged the children to her chest for them to rest while she looked around to make sure they were safe. For that moment she looked like a mother soothing her children while the town was attacked, as cattleya began to hum a lullaby.=============================================== OOC:

(Finally found the drive I needed. Sorry for not responded before. Every time I thought I posted, I didn't and lost opportune moments.) "Why did I hesitate?" These were the words that came to mind after Stella had saved him. He did not save her in return, instead he stood there, idle. Why? He saw her in trouble and yet he was paralyzed, but not out of fear of the dragon which nearly took her. He scribbled words on his notepad and stepped in front of her. "Thank you for saving my life. I am now in your debt, I'm sorry for not returning the favor when I had the chance. But I will be not make that mistake again. I have skills that can aid us all and I intend to use them."

Stella smiled as the mute ran up beside her and showed her what he had scribbled upon his notepad. "Not to worry, you were probably equally as surprised to see a dragon as I was to be grabbed by one." Stella answered, handing the man back his notepad. "As for being in my debt, aid us on this quest to the best of your abilities and we'll call it even."

While she wanted to retort on how she didn't need Keera helpd her tounge. "No idea, depending on how powerful that dragon's casting ability were it could range from several minutes to hours. We don't have time to produce a counterspell so the only option is to destroy them all." She said as she took a position as a rear guard. She cast a quick spell on Grex's weapon which glowed with a faint white light. "That's an ice enchantment it should work better on these fire fiends." Keera told him as they dispatched another group. "Comeon lets go." The magister and the warrior went around the town where they met up with Cattleya, who had managed to keep the children quite while she sung a soft lullyby. "You alright Catty?" she asked her friend as cast a quick healing spell on a few adults.

Joel and Julius came out of hiding. The younger brother got right to work healing people. He had a lot of speed and skill with it as Julius watched from a distance as his brother healed people.

Cattleya, The Charging Guillotine=============================================== When keera began to speak up Cattleya looked as if she awoken from a trance. It took a bit as she looked to Keera before a pink blush appeared on the minotaurs cheeks before turning a tomato red. Cattleya was caught doing something cute and motherly. The kids began to woke up as she moved a bit, "fineI'mfine... very fine, the finest person on this side of fine town..hahahahah!" she said trying to cope and regain herself as she spoke, quickly getting up she fell straight down onto the floor as she was making a fool out of herself. She blinked at keera looking like she was going to cry before getting up, rubbing the dust of her ample chests and looking away, "hmph these brats were in danger so I saved them.... there annoying crying was getting on my nervious sooo I sang a lullaby I heard some mother singing to her brat...I'll get their parents to pony up some dough for it if I find them. If I wasn't so tired" She lied through her teeth as it was obvious that she was singing and holding the kids their for safety on her one free will rather then out of job. Her arms crossed under her chest for emphasis of her state although when keera back was turned they went to her stomach and she sighed and mumbled, "lucky...."
Cattleya would shoot daggers at whoever would call her bluff, although it became less threatening when the kids hugged the minotaur girl. "ugh! get off ya brats!" she said biting her lip as she rested the urge to hug the smallest and youngest, and going up to the oldest in front of her friend.=============================================== OOC:

"Come on, we better catch up with the others." Stella stated, catching a glimpse of a familiar Minotaur. Taking his hand, she limped towards the rest of the group with all the speed she could manage. In a situation like this there was strength in numbers especially if the city's shield had been breached. "Finally... some more friendly faces." Stella commented, rejoining Cattleya, Grex, and Keera.

Grex smiled at the minotaur. Big tough woman huh? Oh well, from the little he knew of this woman, she seemed to bulldoze anyone who really stood up to her. Grex could be one to call her bluff since she didn't hide it well. This hefty busty woman sure was a bit clumsy when she was caught off guard. It was cute really he couldn't help but smile kindly at her a bit.
Then turning to the Magister and giving a nod to the woman, the mute, and the brothers, who had approached them Grex sheathed his swords. "I suggest we get anyone who needs to, to safety then look for the source. Something in my heart tells me this wasn't any plain attack." he stated sort of grimly before leaving the group to look for some more people to help.
Just as he was about to, one of the children accidentally bumped into his leg as it spotted it's mother. Looking down the child cowered a bit. Grex smiled softly, patted the boy's head, helped him off of the ground. "Don't worry I'm fine, are you alright?" he asked in a kind fatherly tone.
The boy nodded then smiled at him. Grex chuckled softly as he watched the child run off to his mother. The innocent needs to be protected. What, or whoever, decided to bring the dragon to town was going to taste steel.

Cattleya, The Charging Guillotine=============================================== Cattleya was a bit swarmed with children, while trying to keep her tough act without making more of a fool herself. "Ah the team with the dragon is here... So is the dragon's hide salvagable?" She asked resting her hands under her breasts. It was obvious she cared more for the children though as her eyes glanced over to the toddlers every now and again as she finally moved them away from her. "That's enough fine... I'll help ya find your parents..." She said walking off her eyes catching Grex be a father which caused the lightest pink pigment that could be considered a blush on her cheeks as she began to find the parents of the children. When she was just barely out of sight did she pick up one of the children and hug them while walking. Anyone that would follow her would see the minotaur girl be a temporary mother to the children before helping them find their families.=============================================== OOC:

Stella shrugged. "As long as you don't might a scorch mark here and there, I don't see why not. Its wings probably got the worse of it." She replied, taking in the damage around her and looking for something she might do to help.

Keera only smirked at the minotaur's actions towards the children were only out so she didnt look like a softie. She knew that despite looks, Cattleya had a soft spot for children and the normally gruff Grex set about to helping some the children who's families had scattered during the attack. She knew the children were in good hands so Keera set to work on a way to try and extinguish the flames that still burned around Sanctum. When Stella and Jaced joined everyone. It was good to see that everyone had survived the attack. "Its good to see you in the flesh. Perhaps you would mind giving me a hand Stella?" She said as the big bellied elf dragged the other magister with her. She waved over Joel and Julius who were healing people and she asked for their assistance for putting out this fire. With some supportive white magic, both magister's mana levels were enough to call down a rainstorm that started to douse the fires that still burned the city. it would only cover a small area and it was at least enough to stop them from spreading further. With the fires out, least in this district they would be safe from any other elementals out here.

Jace struggled in the grip of Stella. Why would she not leave him be with all the grabbing and the touching and the feeling? Did she not realize it made him uncomfortable, or did she simply just not care? Even tired and limping, the strength in Stella's grip did not falter.
