Yes, finally! It was about time she got some help! With Risk providing the encessary support and distraction, Dinah was able to scramble back to her feet and avoid the green's claws, saluting Rilli briefly as she did so. She'd have to do something nice for her later, or something, assuming they did actually get out of here.

D'lek didn't even attempt to dodge the falling debris, and instead concentrated on making an accurate swing at the first human's arm. If he could disarm him they stood a chance of escape.

V'ell - Attacking Green Wher

Damage: 3+1 = 4
Things were getting ugly for the little group in the mines. She'd been hoping that a concerted effort would be enough to take out one of the humans, leaving them with one less enemy to face. But luck wasn't on their side today, and the wher was a bigger threat.
V'ell stepped in and struck out hard at the green wher, praying she wouldn't live to regret this. If those teeth sunk around her arm...

The blue snarled and started after the gold but her legs were longer than his and he was distracted by the noise of the cave in, she was soon clear and left him panting heavily and glaring after her retreating form.
Within the mines more rocks tumbled from the ceiling, striking wherholder and rider loyalist alike. The mountain had no favourites, no mercy either.
The green wher snarled, ignoring the rocks pounding down upon her and ignoring the pain of her wounds too. She would kill these enemies and crack their bones between her teeth! her assault on Dinah continued unabated.
The first of the miners seemed to have more sense in him; he took the blow from Kesin and riposted but did his best to evade the attack coming from D'lek.
The second miner, less accosted, turned his attention onto D'lek as Rilli seemed to be less of an immediate threat. InstructionsKessisk: Has successfully fled. The blue wher that was fighting her is stuck outside and can't attack the PCs Everyone take 4 Damage. North Group: Pinned individuals are now unpinned. The Cave in is (still!) too deep for a dragon to help with.

Sharding rocks - they were worse than the shaffing miners! (Nevermind that the whole premature cave-in thing was sort of maybe her fault, it still sucked.) Ignoring the pain as best she could, Fi'o struck at one of the miners again.

Kesin was, to put it mildly, very tired of getting hit. Why had she agreed to this again? She should have left it to burlier, fight-ier types. She ducked out of the way of the latest strike, and got cracked in the head by rubble instead.

Stupid beast! Dinah clenched her teeth against the pain from both the wher's claws and the falling rocks, and tried to punt the green as hard as she could. Shards, she wished Dinsk was in here and not out there.

Rilli caught Dinah's salute and nodded her head in return. Her momentary distraction gave her opponent the chance he needed to thrust his weapon into her gut. Rilli staggered against the cave wall, gasping and cursing until she got her feet back beneath her, swinging her weapon again at the man with the lecherous grin.

V'ell - Attacking Green Wher
HP: 14/30
Damage: 2+1=3
Shards, V'ell was tired of the rocks raining down on her. Some of the other wherholders - the one who'd been worst mauled by the green wher especially - looked like they wouldn't last much longer. And V'ell's own strikes were growing less coordinated and aggressive.
Still she soldiered on, swinging her heavy chunk of wood at any weak spots she could find on the sturdy green hide. It was like trying to take down a boulder with a stick.

D'lek did his best to absorb the blow, but that sharding debris kept making his life difficult. Their situation was desperate and he fell back grabbing a bandage from his trouser pocket and doing his best to quickly staunch his bleeding. He looked desperately towards where their exit had been, Tennath, if I don't make it out go to our safe spot. He did his best to keep a clear picture in his mind's eye, of their private retreat, where they had gone whenever they needed a reprive from Eastern. Tennath's mindvoice was flooded with worry, D'lek--. No arguing. I'll be fine, besides you'll be closer to me there than at Benden. But -- oh alright. I'll wait--I will always wait for you.

[D'ei - Attacking Green Wher

Everyone bled. D'ei felt a harsh ache in her chest once she'd scrambled free and with this green wher - shaffing wher. It took a moment for her to get her bearings before running at the wher and swinging her big, mildly pathetic stick. It bounced, it failed, and she swore violently under her breath.
