Freya purred when her friends said hello, and she started grabbing the ghouls, pulling Olivia, Junko, and Yaya down into her cuddle pile. "Hi ghouls! I was wondering if yeh could tells me somethings." She couldn't help it. She wasn't normally this obnoxious, but Junko and Yaya were her ghoulfriends, and she hardly got to see them. This was the best time.. She crawled on top of a pillow, snuggled herself against all three ghouls - because Olivia was hers now, sorry Olivia - and held her hand out. "Is there something heavy on my hand? I can't see it and I think it's eatings my hand HAPL." Engagement rings were not carnivores, but they were, in fact, very shiny.

Ren had, for very obvious reasons, found his way to the cuddle room.
And to a certain little brother.
"JOOoooOOOOoooOOOVEEE - DEMI -"
And then there was lots of hugging and maybe a smooch on the cheek or two.

Gabby still had no idea his hair was rainbow. Efflo's face, however, was starting to clue him in on something being wrong. "What." He backed up, turning his head left, and then right. "What are you looking at? What's wrong. Is there something on my face?" He pressed his hands against his face, shifting his hair just enough to bring a tendril up over his shoulder... .... His hands started shaking. "Efflo.. is.. my.. hair.."

Efflo turned around, grabbing Gabby’s hands with his own and pushing them down from his face until they rested in his lap, letting the newly vibrant hair fall back over his shoulder. “It is…” he admitted cautiously, not sure how Gabby would react. The way the boil was trembling didn’t pose a good sign. So Efflo gently took his chin in hand, forcing Gabby to look at him and not his hair. “It’s not that bad, really! We kind of match now…” He grinned extra widely, hoping it might make up for his lackluster pep talk, and the fact that Gabby’s hair now outshone his own by several octaves and shades. Even as he tried to hold the dragon’s gaze, though, Efflo couldn’t but sneak another glance at his hair. “’Sides… How did it even change? Your hair doesn’t just magically change color does it?”

Efflo's perky pep talk was not helping. "No," He growled darkly. "It most definitely was not me." Which meant it was someone in this room. So Gabby started to look around, very carefully, to see if anyone was looking at them. So far, others seemed more interested in their own conversations.. "But whoever it was, I'm going to kill them." Empty threats as usual, but said with the dark intent of someone who was seriously hoping this was not a permanent change. Gabby's hair was his pride and joy - along with his wings, his face, his body, his intelligence, his scent.. ... Well, everything was his pride and joy. But his hair was part of it.

After properly dressing. Because it was a pajama... party. Well anyway. After properly dressing in a button up top and matching bottoms that were a nice pale blue with some odd mixture of ice and flowers on them. Again, one of those things that ended up in his room and he didn't know when or which parent got it. Odd gifts. Really. Still, it was handy at this point, and he'd said he'd come. So onward and out. Molan was going to go to this party. Because he'd said so.
At least this time he was properly dressed, hair braided, and bells intact. Better than the last time he'd left his room in the middle of the night. Certainly. So up the stairs he went, down a hall, up more stairs. Down a few more halls toward the sound of laughter and noise. And whatever else was going on in there. He slowly edged over and looked into the room cautiously at that point. This was something of a rescue mission if need be. Get Olivia out before anything terrible happened, because he just had so much faith in his fellow students to not cause trouble.
Sadly, instead of spotting Olivia with her new pretty things as she was being shown a ring, he saw Gabby. Gabby that bright, jacking radiant rainbow. And a part of him died as realization hit. The name accompanying this party was the same as that boil who'd been trying for treasurer. He cringed a bit as he backed up, sadly not out the door. Rather to another corner of the room. Someone WAS throwing inkjars around like he'd suggested.
Oh jack. He didn't want to get hit with one. Being rainbow-tastic once was more than enough for him.
Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. He wanted no part of this. None of it. Where was Olivia? He was dragging her back to safety with him.Chirigami Hi. He's here. He's also going 'D:' at Gabby's hair. NO MOAR RAINBOWS. Nio Love He see's that Gabby hair. The horror. If you want to have Gabby see the horror and think it's worse than it is feel free.

"ACK!" He cried for a second, almost pushed over as Demis weight hit all of them. "Hey! Point is cuddling NOT smooshing!" He complained, moving around a little until he was comfortable once more. He made a point to jab Demi in the side though.
It felt nice though, almost like a mini reunion of the K9 club on these pillows. It was almost enough to make him grin....
Until he heard some words out of the corner of his ear.
Annnddd just like that, without even looking, another flick of his hand... the hair illusion was gone. Nope dont want to piss off someone making death threats, nothanks.

Efflo flopped back onto the pillows when his pep talk failed, watching as Gabby searched around, and unable to take his eyes off of the rainbow locks. He didn’t see what the big deal was; it had to be someone at the party who’d done it and it wasn’t actually a malicious prank… Or it wouldn’t have been, on anyone other than Gabby. Still, surely it would be back to normal before the party was over. The boil reached up, toying with absent-mindedly with the bright strands. “I dunno, I kind of like it…” Then his strands were white again, and it was Efflo's turn to sit up, looking around for the prankster. C'mon, couldn't he have had just five more minutes?

AJ was happy to hear that there was somehow a cuddly party in the demon dorm. Is that mean he get a good excuse to cuddle every fluffy student? It was such a good news for the serpent-dragon boil, making his behaviour into something legit.
AJ was kinda jealous of the demon dorm honestly, demons in Amityville can have things they wanted, a kitchen, a swimming pool and such. He was staring at the oven at the destination as well as how spacious the room can accommodate such a large amount of students.
Ok. Time to see if there's some good targets around.

And there she was, pressed up against the winged ghoul yet again. Not that Olivia terribly minded or gave much protest just like before; this was a cuddle party and finally she got to take part in the action of which this night was named after. The ghoul didn't really know the others in this little group (and felt rather bad of having been pulled away from Sibyl) but it was no matter, there was hope to learn names.
Soon though, since there was a very shiny object presented to them. From her observation, it didn't look very heavy not that it was eating her hand. Was it eating Freya's hand and she just couldn't really see it? It looked like something her mother wore but with a lot more sparkle to it. Oh wait, oh.. it was one of those types of rings, wasn't it? Just in case, she remained quiet (hoping for the other two to confirm her suspicions and clear the air) and simply gave a small little, "oh, it's very pretty."
And hopefully, you know, not something that was very pretty but was actually giving Freya a flesh eating virus or something like she had hinted at.

Yaya had heard...rumors? Oh no. Junko's eyes widened, her smile falling as she just stared at the ghoul. Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no! She didn't want it to just...spread around without her control! No! "O-oh..um...it's fine..I'll be okay." Junko replied quietly, giving Yaya a wary smile now. She was worried now. What was being said? She had been so quiet about it! Only telling friends...did..did Seiji..? "Thank you for your concern, Yaya. It means a lot." The hug was returned and Junko gave a nod to Yaya's words. This was right before Freya grabbed them, of course. Junko squeaked and fell against the valkyrie ghoul. The other ghoul she did not recognize but she certainly looked timid. Junko relaxed when she saw her, her smile growing fond as she watched the little first year; she'd been there, timid and shy and soft-spoken, she probably also jumped at the drop of a hat too. It made her want to hold the ghoul and pet her hair and make her pretty dresses and-- Whoa, Freya. Junko didn't say anything at first. Her heart had stopped, and for a moment she couldn't breathe. That was a very beautiful engagement ring, Freya. Unconsciously the ghoul wrung her hands together, her fingers rubbing the base of her left ring finger; she could still remember what it felt like trying her own engagement ring on after breaking her boilfriend's heart. In that brief moment she almost wanted to lash out at the ghoul who had unknowingly rubbed her own mistake in her face. No! No, that was bad. Very bad. Freya is friend. Happy friend. Finally she laughed and gave Freya a tight hug, rubbing her cheek against the valkyrie's. "Oh, Freya! That's wonderful! Congratulations! You and Kettil, yes?" She squealed and clapped her hands, and Junko found her sentiment was sincere, sitting up as much as she could given the pile Freya had made of them. "Can I help with your dress? Oh please, oh please?!" Dresses. Yes. Dresses were enough to make Junko forget what terrible thoughts had just crossed her mind. --- From behind a stack of pillows there came a snicker that grew into outright laughter when Gabby's hair had become rainbow. It continued even after his hair was changed back.

No sooner had Yaya offered Xavier what was meant to be a reassuring smile, when she was caught hold of again and dragged back to the ladies on their little pillow mound. She laughed, wrapping an arm around the one that now held her, and marveled at Freya's strength and determination. To the raum she could only smile, shrugging apologetically. She'd return to him in a moment , once her friend had finished- "Oh Freya! " What was that gigantic rock resting on her finger? Did that mean? Surely it must! "Congratulations my dear, this is truly wonderful news. I am so very happy for you!" Dark lips planted a kiss upon the paler ghoul's cheek. "Oh you must," she commented on Junko's offer to help with the dress. "She's the best seamstress in the school, it would be madness not to let her at least assist." Alterations, at the very least. She grinned at the monster ghoul, giving her shoulder a little nudge. There was another in the circle of arms and bodies as well. The dainty ghoul from their battle at the gate. "Olivia, right? We were comrades at the gate." And hopefully the majority of the action that night distracted from the personal drama that came after... "I'm Yaya."

Party preparation must have been a bit too tiring for Thackery; in spite of the puppy pile and various conversations and color-changing illusions, the comfort of being cuddled up against a real someone was too tempting. He'd drifted off at some point, fingers curling and uncurling around a corner of Remi's shirt.
Just one little nap couldn't hurt, right?

The host was asleep, so Terra forgot about it and headed for the owl boil again. "Senor owl, would you like a churro?" she asked, holding one up for him. "I will share!" She might have been angling for more feathery snuggles. Maybe ninja

"Oooh yes!" Muka trilled and hopped eagerly towards Terra. "My name is ah.." he giggled and half bowed, "Ulmuka by the way. They call me Muka." He then opened his vicious looking mouth for her to toss him a churro. Had he heard Freya? Would Kettil be coming?
