Gatz picked up the phone on the other end.

"Hey, Quint, thanks for calling! I just wanted to check how things were coming along... you know, what with the whole 'impending doom' thing."

"Sounds like a good idea. maybe I'll chck up on you and see how it's going," he replied.

"And yeah, I've been training Aonice at her request. She seems to have a small inferiority complex she needs to overcome, and hopefully aquiring a few more skills will help with that. Training her somemore is also good way to make sure she can stick to the 'don't die' part of our plan," he added with a chuckle.

"Well, that's about it. See you later."

He hung up on the other end of the line.

Laughing from the conversation from Gatz, Quint answered the door, verbally.

"It's open!" Came the call from the other side of the door.

"Nothing," Quint half answered, "Just thoughts about 'Aonice', and 'Not dying'." He laughed again.

"So, to who do I owe this visit?" Quint asked.

"I do hate the fact that I did that.." Quint said in reference to the creature, "And to an extent, truthfully, I do want this island." He sighed, not exacly wanting to tell her. That was something he wanted to obtain alone. "Still, I have to kill that thing, not for me, not for this island, but for the person that monster represents."

"Wait.." Quint recalled, "What do you mean by 'not having to do anything to get the island'?"

Quint let out a sigh, "The military can't stop it, they should probably stop and focus on things that truly matter.." He paused for a moment, thinking about Aonice and Gatz, "True, they will be the first ones out to fight, but know that I will be right there with them." He stated assuredly, "But if they both happen to be killed..."

Quint hesitated for a moment, then he smiled.

"No.." Quint started, "I mean, I have to kill it, regardless of how much I want this place, and I think I'd need their help in order to do that.."

Then, an idea came to his head so suddenly he felt as if he had know it forever. Quickly moving to his desk where files upon files lied, he sifted through them at a hurried pace. He found what he was looking for, showing it to Morrigan. What he showed was another alchemy symbol, this one showing the mutation for "Eradication". The basis for this symbol was simple: Anything placed inside the symbol would have each of it's elements flash heated past a million degrees centigrade, effectivly erasing all traces of the material. The only problem was the cost needed to activate it. An immense, almost otherworldly power would be required to use it, but once done would probably be the most potent way to kill....anything.

"We can use this." Quint smiled brightly; he sure loved alchemy.

Nom knocked on the door to Quint's house and waited for him to come down and open it. "Quint I know your home so answer the door or I'm gonna kick it in."
