Hotaka Ko HachiXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"In order to exist, you need a purpose..."
Hotaka watched as the white-haired Genin continued his attempt at manslaughter. He knew well that his Kokuangyo no Jutsu wasn't going to have the same primary affect as the Kirigakure no Jutsu, but he only needed to blind the boy. That was all that he needed. His plan, at this point, was simply to leave the area. With his wounds, there wasn't much left that he could do. The Genin was vulnerable, and, too vulnerable, at that. There was evidently breaking that took place in his ribs- it could be felt, and noticed through the blood of which spurted itself from the boy's mouth with each hardly existent cough. He had to recover, but he refused the help of anyone else in his doing this.
The Genin watched as his counterpart released his stronghold. Bloodlust, perhaps. Something triggered this. Perhaps he was... No, this didn't matter. The event of which took place was over. As Hotaka released the Kokuangyo no Jutsu that had still been evidently blocking the vision of the boy, he was slightly in shock that he was still conscious. He stared at Issho, and, using the one arm that he'd had that was still capable of moving, threw several senbon in the directions of where his birds had landed and dissipated. During the fight, a few of them reached their objective. This was something that he'd surveyed before releasing the Shadow of the Raven. This "trip" was now worthless to Hotaka, and he'd gained other things to set his focus on. Despite the sheer pain and pressure that forced itself unto the boy's body, his face remained in its omnipresent appearance. Indifferent, and stoic. If he were to have been killed, that same facial expression would have remained.
The Genin took a moment to observe the Jounin whom he'd temporarily fought. It was now that he came to the conclusion of what it was that he saw in the man. His eyes, the way that he held himself, and his general being was beyond reminiscent of Hotaka's previous mentor- of Vertigo. The similarities were beyond intriguing to the boy. It seemed almost as if his mentor was somehow rebirthed in Zael.
The Genin, quickly, however, reimbursed himself with his proper mindset. He hadn't the time to be thinking about things like this. He turned his head to Issho, and spoke in his usual cold, indifferent tone. "You should have killed me." In that instant, he used his remaining hand to remove himself from the area. The Dusk Crow Genjutsu would make it simply appear to those surrounding Hotaka that he'd dissolved into a flock of black birds. This was accomplished without eye contact, which made it all the easier. The boy had no remorse, but right now, he hadn't the reason to stay any longer, so he simply followed his own impulse. Wherever it was that he brought himself to, the Genin knew well that he was going to be sorely wounded for the next while, and, at this point, he truly did simply feel like sleeping, despite how out of character it may have been.
