"Jealous. Of course she's jealous! I can't blame her or anyone else for that. But that does not excuse-" He froze in mid-step when a flash of hooded figures filled his sight. His body tensed, and his lips parted as his jaw dropped open.

"What.. who.." He whispered, taking a step back. The hooded figures.. the ones from his dream.. were they now invading his conscious time as well?

Were they coming back for him again?

He looked down at Chai sharply, as if only then remembering she was still with him, and his hand tightened around hers.

Whatever it was, he was not being rational about it.

"This way." He whispered, and without much warning he broke into a sprint, running back towards the trees and out of sight.

Harmony rose her head sluggishly, searching for the two. When she realized they weren't actually in sight anymore, her eyes focused and narrowed.

".. Donny, where the heck did you go now?"

Donny obviously had no idea Chai had seen the image too. All that he could think of was that those hooded figures were the same ones that overtook him in his dream. With a vision as vivid as that, he didn't want to take any chance that perhaps there was more to it than just a dream.

He could feel her lagging behind, and a twang of guilt forced him to stop for a moment, only to gather her up quickly in his arms. He couldn't let them get him, nor would he allow himself to lose Chai to them either. His face was clustered in childish determination as his wings flung out their full expansion from behind him.

"Hold on." He whispered, and waited until he felt the tightening of her arms before taking flight on a hazardous journey through the trees.

Ayden looked at Elana with softened eyes. "It's ok Elana, we're just little kids, I don't think they'll hurt us, and it's not like we hurt them." Ayden replied in the language that only the two of them knew. He nodded his head slowly and held on tightly to Elana's hands. "I remember this place too, but maybe we are different from them. It sounds like we have a different fate then them from what the cloaked figures said, but we're still the same a little bit I think." Ayden whispered. He looked back up to the others slowly. "We do not know what happened, me and my sister, do one of you know?" Ayden said slowly, trying hard to piece together the english words.

Angelus shook his head at Sylvester. "I'm not sure." Looking to the children, they kept speaking in a language that none of the Tale's knew.

His eye's widened at Tiwaz's outburt. He quickly ran up to her side and laid his hand on her shoulder. "Whoa! Don't get too rough now."

His eye lids turned into slits as he looked at the two children. "She's right. Everything was fine until you showed up. If you didn't know anything you wouldn't be speaking in a tongue we didn't understand." he would easily back up Tiwaz since he knew her more than the twins. "There's something you're not telling us and we don't appreciate being left in the dark." He sighed and tried to play out reason. "Okay. What we need to do is calm down and both of you." He pointed to Elana and Ayden. "Know something. Please. We need answers and if you know something just tell us." It almost sounded like a plea. He hated being in the dark. Not knowing what could happen at any moment made his feathers bristle.

He looked behind him to Sylvester. "What do you think Sylvester? What did you see? Maybe we can all compare what we saw." He looked to all of the occupants in the room.

"Is it wrong to... Tell someone you're scared in another language?" Elana asked softly, warm tears swelling up on her eyes. "I was... Afraid to say it out loud, that's all... And everyone has their secrets, it's just that Ayden and I have some as well..."

Elana paused, and a sigle tear drop rolled down her pale cheeks, "We don't really feel comfortable with speaking English. That 'different tongue' you guys keep talking about is a comfort to me, especially since it's my brother's voice that I'm hearing..." It wasn't the whole truth, although part of it is true. The twins do know something but they had been advised not to tell anyone about it...

She found comfort at holding Ayden's hand, and bit her shivering lower lip, afraid that her tears will pour out if she lets go. She didn't know what was happening, but she wished she did. Then she could clear things up once and for all...

Tiwaz eyed Anegelus as if he had suddenly grown an extra head, what was he up to? Perhaps they were supposed to do that good cop bad cop thing she'd seen on t.v. Either way she didn't really intend to drop the subject. " I have no secrets, I know, see and feel things I don't always share but if it was important I would. It's wrong to hide things unless that's your job and if it it that makes you spies."

Agitated she grond her teeth and grasped her orb tighter wondering if keeping hold of order was really worth it right now. Letting her crimson eyes settle on Ayden she gave him a smile that radiated unkindness. Even though she was not an emotionless being right now, the anger, and self preservaion instincts in her were strobger then symptathy or a willingess to trust. " Being scared of me is good , fear means respect and when I'm yelling at you" she snarled raising her voice" I'm demanding respect." The words were ones Tiwaz had heard her mother use from time to time and they tended to work. She doubted Angelus or Sylvester would have been cowed by them becuase they were older but Ayden and Elena were her age and with luck were capable of being frightened.

Ayden looked at Elana nervously and tugged on her hand towards the couch Angelus had pointed at. He let go of her hand and walked over to the couch slowly and climbed into the cushion of the couch and waited for his sister to join him. Ayden pouted his lower lip because he couldn't talk to his sister in front of the others anymore. "Elana... what...do...you... think... all mean't?" Ayden asked her very slowly. Ayden tried his best to ignore the look the other girl gave him. "I do not... think... it is good... I do not...like...to be scared..." Ayden's blue eyes watched Angelus and Tiwaz disappear into the kitchen, before holding his hand out to Elana.

"Thank you," Elana took the box, and smiled at Angelus gratefully before he left. She turned to follow Ayden and sat down closely beside him. She do not want to be away from him.

"Nor do I..." Elana whimpered softly, holding her brother's hand and craddling it. "Are we different? Are... Are we freaks? Maybe she's right, we don't belong here... Maybe we shouldn't even have existed..." She wiped away her tears and tried to be brave. I must not be afraid, I must not be afraid... These words repeated themselves in her head like a broken tape recorder.

She looked at the female named Tiwaz. She was intimiating Ayden and herself, as Elana did not like it one little bit. "Fear... Do not mean respect." She replied, her voice a little shaky from crying, "Respect is when someone looks up to you. Respect is when you're admired by someone, and you... You do not deserve my respect for being mean."
