(Ok, just wanted to be sure. xD)

"Mizzen, First Mate." Mizzen replied, introducing herself very bluntly. "And she too has already been taken aboard."

Mizzen couldn't be sure what the woman meant by the cryptic statement but she didn't like the way the woman's eyes briefly looked at her belly. What would she want with my children? she wondered.

"I'll have to remember that the next time we are in the area." She added, having basically checked out of their conversation in order to poke and prod the crew members to finish loading the final barrels.

"Pleasure to be aboard with you Arturia. Lunaris eh? Never been there myself never really been past Sandora and here. " Tear said shaking the half-dragon's hand. "I'll be serving as a aid to the navigator and other miscellaneous tasks, Long as it doesn't mean crawling into things." Said the elf rubbing her large stomach which wobbled slightly as one kicked.

"At least you are lucky to have a past of some sort I don't know who my parents are or where I came from just somethings that were left for me." Merlia set down her things so she could eat the food. She was soon done and went to go pick up her things when she felt an odd shape in the pile that she had not noticed before. She unwrapped what looked like some fabric and found a mirror inside. She gently picked it up and held it up so that it was inbetween her and Ratchet and her eyes went wide it was telling her that he was not lying to her about everything he had told her. She still did not understand what it was telling her though. She could see an aura around him through the mirror.

Merlia suddenly felt weird. She grabed hold of her stomach like she was going to be sick. "Uhhhhh. I think I am going to be sick and it was not the food." She started to look a little pale.

(Sorry if this is so sudden I really did not know how sudden the pregnancy should be I can always change it.)

(Oh I know viper. ^^ lol I don't mind doing it but it'll be awkward for Ratchet since he's kind of keeping his heart locked towards love and women. lol xD For now anyway. Oh and I'm ready whenever. Hoshi maybe you can just be a part of the crew too? Unless you all are planning on surrounding Ratchet with pregnant women xP xD lol)

A sudden feeling of de ja vu swept over him when she pulled out the mirror. Just like the Scholar, it had the same aura about it. Merlia seemed entranced by it then suddenly she dropped it. It was good thing Ratchet had quick hands or else it would have shattered. Holding the object now under his arm his other arm draped over the slave he gave her a look of concern.

"Let's head up top, maybe you're seasick." he said soothingly unknown to him that the mirror was glowing lightly underneath his arm like it was oddly responding to some sort of magical aura.

Gently wrapping it up he placed it into the bag she kept for safe keeping and began to escourt Merlia up onto the deck, that's when he passed the scholar and a vastly pregnant elf girl. Like with Arturia, his heart skipped a beat when Ratchet's and Tear's eyes met briefly. Just who was this woman? Pregnant no doubt, why was is that all non-human types ended up pregnant? As they passed the scholar was muttering something about treasure, no doubt their next destination.

Now on the deck he stood by her side near the side, where the ocean lay, so she could throw up if she needed. Both his arms comfortably and safely holding her so she wouldn't fall overboard. Pulling her hair back a little he was now rubbing her back. "Steady now...let it out if ya need to..I've got you.." he cooed to her gently. Ratchet never really cooed to anyone but she might have been sick, so this was an acception.

The bag of her things had been left upon his bed. For now he would allow her to share his room until they were out at sea and he could find a room on her own. Inside the mirror still pulsated within his locked room. Like it was searching..searching for something.

((I'm just trying a new character concept. smile He might open his heart later, I kind of already have a plan for him. ^^ For now he'll just be friendly, but hugs and stuff creep him out. xD He's your typical 'guy that's intimidated by women' character. I'll probably give him a tragic part of his background for this reason eventually.))

"It's probably just seasickness. Maybe you weren't on ships that much?" he said with concern. "If you feel like you want to lay down then I'll show you to my cabin. It's not much but I'll get ya your own room once we're out at sea." he said rubbing her back gently. Ratchet was treating her more like a loving and caring father than a lover.

Maybe she had caught the flu while being carted around the auction? Those places weren't always that clean to begin with.
