My parents are seriously considering sending me to AISHK. Does anyone here live in Hong Kong and go to AISHK?

The reason I know alot? I grab all the tourist brochures and read them on the train from Airport to Central. xd

Mongkok...damn good shopping!!

And HK technically belongs to China now I guess, but they still run on a different government system. But I think it about 2040 something Hong Kong will be definately the same as China...like you know what I mean. China wants Taiwan now. ninja

China can't change HK, Hk makes too much money the way it is. To Change it would be to cut it's source of MAJOR income! xd

I think it still is, China wants HK to be controlled by its own government. I gotta check on the details though, but Im sure HK is going to be returned 'even more' to China. sweatdrop

True HK is China's main source of income, but China is growing rapidly economically anyhow, so its rather independent.

For anyone who lives in Hong Kong, you should know about the hit soap opera Dae Cheung Gum. Whos seen it?

What a coincidence, I myself may be going to AISHK also! Except when I visit Hong Kong, I live in Aberdeen, so its an hour and 3/4hour bus drive all the way to Kowloon...I think!
My Dads been organising all the papers and etc. It seems rather expensive. sweatdrop So I'm also hoping to apply for a scholarship.

I'm in Year 9 as well. But I'm scared of going to AISHK in a sense, coz people speak more Canto there and yeah and blah and yea... eek

Ah really? On the application form, it says AISHK is located in Kowloon Tong. My Dad even went for a tour there(Every Wednesday I think) and it was obviously in Kowloon. Strange.@_@. Better check the official website.
And yesh, it is expensive, but my parents can afford it...I guess. sweatdrop Its slightly cheaper then private schools here I think...

Judging from what my Dad said, he said Chinese is still spoken more, what with probably 1/2 the school being Chinese, lol. Anyhow...in a sense, its better then all the local high schools, they follow Australian cirriculum and everything. Smeh. See how it goes. The uniforms are ssoo Aussie! I hope I can make it into the scholarship too, but I have to apply first before I can get a scholarship.
