Sophie walked up to the candy booth. She was never one to deny sweet things and the students that were walking away looking.. different and odd seemed to go completely unnoticed. She picked a candy out of the bowl, popping it into her mouth. Nothing changed and she let out a sigh of relief; it appeared she'd picked out one of the innocent candies. Appeared being the key word; and you know what they said about appearances. Espcially when the ghoul couldn't see the mood bubbles popping up around her head. A little face breathing out air - relief.
She noticed a familiar face - not one that belonged to someone she'd met before, but one that she'd seen talking to Momo a bit. Sophie walked up to her and gave a smile and a wave, the mood bubble changing to reflect her mood - a little blush explaining how she was nervous on the inside despite her outward appearance. "Hey," she called, tilting her head. "You're friends with Moriko, right?"

Ragnorak was just examining the very PINK butt wings that were in fact...on her butt. They seemed to flap in tandem. It was kind of...annoying and prissy. Why did she eat the candy again? She looked up to see a girl talking to her. The girl was well dead...or undead? She hadn't really met someone like her before. But it was hard for her to focus on anything but the little mood bubble floating conspicoulsy beside the girl's head. "Uhm...You mean foxy? Yeah, I know her..." She couldn't help but stare at the mood bubbles. "Do you know that there's--" she pointed at the bubbles.

Games? Games would be good, games sounded amazing right now? She nodded enthusiastically. How badly could games go right now with her in such a state? Urg. Maple put her hands on the side of her head to keep it from spinning.
Oh, wow there were little totems running around in an array of color. Like they were following them in bliss and happiness. Maple pulled herself a little closer to Andrew as they walked, not wanting to step on the little creatures and also not to lose him.
He was taking her to games!

Foxy? Sophie almost burst into laughing. Moriko would HATE that; she'd have to remember it for later. As the ghoul continued on, Sophie's eyes widened and she touched her hair. "What? Is there something wrong with my hair? Is there something on my head?" she batted her head, shrieking and jumping around and it was then that she caught a glimpse of the ghoul's butt.
Or more importantly, her butt wings. "Did you know about uh.. those?" She pointed, tilting her head. This was weird. Butt wings, things possibly attacking Sophie's hair. She shuddered. "Maybe we should get away from this booth. Far far away." She started walking, whether or not the other ghoul followed didn't matter. She just wanted to get away from things that wanted to mess with her hair.
Yeah, she still hadn't figured out the mood bubble thing.[EXITING]

For someone who didn't particularly care for food, much less desserts or sweets, Amarus appeared to be fascinated by these candy hearts. In actuality, now that she was calm and aware of their effect, she was trying to study them: how did the work? What was causing the strange effects?
And could she steal the prototype and perfect it for her own usage? So many questions. And the only answer she had was to idly pop another candy heart into her mouth. Zel and Mar were stopping briefly on their way to another place; she still hadn't visited all the booths, and she was entirely eager to try some more games. After all, the darts one kept kicking her butt.
THEY WERE ONTO HER! Diverting her via the sugar-overload!
As a swell of sugar rushed through her system, Amarus felt brief panic at the prospect of losing control of herself again, and then a wave of acceptance that drowned out the paranoid notion they were out to stop her from concentrating long enough to figure out the secret. Was they the spray-painted pink Lepus? No, no, couldn't be.
He looked like he was just as much a victim. "Altered his brain chemicals," Amarus mumbled to herself, before the sugar took full control and she giggled.
Here we go again. She was already about to race off, unless Zel could catch her.

Zel had snagged another piece of candy, popping it into his mouth. He debated if this would having long lasting side effects. If he had to keep these buttwings forever... Well at least Amarus would be entertained... Or not - now all he saw was long strands of yarn between people. Red and gold between himself and Amarus. Who was swiftly starting to move away. Looked like it was time to start carrying her again. Snagging her by the waist, he threw her up over his shoulder again. "No buttwings this time," Zel chuckled softly. "Sorry."

Candy? Tomoko loved candy. A few minutes after eating said candy, however, the kitsune found herself staring off into space, pupils dilated and a sort of dumb grin on her face.

Although she was letting herself be carried with an excited whoop of joy, she did awww when she realized Zel was right: no more buttwings sad She was also sugarhigh again, and incapable of thinking things through very well.
Which might explain why, later, she managed to escape back to the booth alone to grab another candy.She breathed an intense sigh of relief: the sugarhigh rush was gone again. She should have stuck with the thread. She was, however, surprised to find out that she had triggered something entirely new to her.
Little mood bubbles above her head. Actually, this could be... useful. She was never very good at expressing herself, after all. Maybe these little bubbles would provide a direct line between herself and her emotions?... They confused her, still.
She slumped to the ground at the booth and leaned against it, thoroughly exhausted.Maybe she could rest, just for a little while... She managed to, her limbs feeling heavy, open her phone again and text Zel:Text to Zel Finally no mor sugr. Meet me @ candy booth? Sorry... for running away??

Seeing candy just laying around, with nobody nearby... well, Blake wasn't one to pass up an opportunity for "free" things. Even if some of the things weren't technically "free" to begin with...

Her first time in Halloween was . . . interesting to say the least. Mind you, Stormy was glad she had a partner this go around; as much as she would have loved to wander on her own, she did not want to cause an incident as what always seemed to happen when she was in an area. Maybe having a partner would cancel out the bad luck. Then again, her first external mission had two full fledged hunters and she'd gotten the big bad's attention pretty swiftly without trying . . . Maybe ghastly things just had a penchant for liking little seemingly helpless girls?
Stormy wasn't the least bit little in her first ever golem, however - no, if anything, she found herself towering over most of the populace and became all the more self-conscious for it. Short thick hair, goat-like ears, and large hairy feet - definitely the opposite of her real self in every way. But it was nice to pretend to be someone - something else.
"How's it down there?" she asked in a slightly rumbly voice to her partner who, comically, had ended up on the other end of the spectrum. From her height Stormy could catch a bowl of candy just waiting to be taken near them, and she pointed it out with a questioning look. Newbies all around, sure, but she was no good as a leader.

Halloween definitely surpassed Aiden's imagination on what it was like. He would normally be wondering around investigating anything and everything he could except for the tiny detail of his golem. The golem was petite, cute and female, and the height difference was made more obvious with the Hunter he was exploring with's golem being so tall. The tiny 'girl' shifted closer to the monster golem so as not to be run over when someone went passed then looked up.
"Well, I'm beginning to remember what being a child in a crowd felt like." 'She' joked with a grin. "Candy? Sounds like a plan, though you will have to navigate us."

Quite simply, his eye-phone exploded. Not literally, that would have been rather messy and expensive to replace - but message after message invaded his phone until finally he got the final text from Amarus. Moving through the crowd, he didn't answer her text, but instead, followed the strands that bound the two of them. If nothing else, it was helpful to locate her! When he reached the booth, he found her slumped against it, and crouching down, he reached up and titled her head up and smirked at her. "You know, at the rate you're going I'm going to have to tie you to me. Or better yet, chain you to me so you can't get away." His voice was only half joking, and he leaned in and kissed her softly, his hand moving from her chin to cup the side of her face as he went to a knee. Pulling back from the kiss, he chuckled at her exhausted mood-bubble, before reaching up and snagging another piece of candy and popping it in his mouth. "What does this have in store for me?" He smirked at Amarus as he waited for the effect. No change and he chuckled looking at the bands of string between them. "Well at least I know where you are at all times now."

Amarus heard Zel approach, and opened her eyes wide enough to spot his familiar shape. A smile tugged at the corner of her mouth, but her mood bubble was much more communicative.

Not to mention when he started to talk to her, suggested he should chain her to him, she felt her chest tighten again: the familiar feeling he seemed to be so good at inflicting upon her.
She slipped one hand up to press against the back of his hand where it had cupped her cheek. As soon as she could break from the gentle kiss as he bent to one knee, she said: "I could not blame you for that, and... I would not complain about it, either."
She looked up, spotting her mood bubble, and sighed.
"... I would probably enjoy it," she admitted, seeing that it was already blushing from what she was thinking. She watched the mood bubble with narrowed, accusatory eyes, as if daring it to display her more private thoughts.
It didn't. And she was glad. Because she'd been thinking very inappropriate things, either to test it or as a result of feeling pressured lest anything like that pop into her mind, unbidden or no. Safe, for now.
"Won't be hard, if I'm always by your side," she replied, lacing her fingers in with his, smiling gently. She looked tired, but she still had some will left in her. She was gonna crash hard as soon as that ran out, though.
"Shall we go explore?"
