He wandered too close to the booth again... and got snapped by cuffs. he stared at them confused and then groaned at the beeb. "don't follow me home." A little bubble appeared above his head: stressed
he ran just behind it but, Kenner gave it to him anyway. Why? gonk he didn't notice the bubble above his head, he merely stalked off, upset.

Ragnorak didn't know why she foudn it so thrilling to race a beebs and she certainly didn't want to admit that they were...cute. But truth was truth. Latching the handcuff onto her wrist, her and the beebs took off!

Ragnorak decided to race once more. Maybe it was a bit greedy...but she really did like the beebs...maybe she'd even start a beebs farm.

Suddenly the beebs she was attached to snapped to attention then ran the minute the signal was given. All Millie could do was try to keep up with it and not trip again. Thankfully she managed to stay on her feet the whole race. It seemed this race was not about speed, but about paying attention... the Beebs licked her face and followed her when the race ended instead of running back to its crate like all the other creatures. Strange thing.

Her wandering feet led Azmodel to a booth laden with ... where those handcuffs???
Curiosity peaked and she came closer. And as the werehyena was rambling about "recreational imprisonment" of all things the poor ghoul felt something metallic clasp on her wrist.
Since racing seemed to be the only way the be freed, the valkyrie did not waste time in getting started.
A few minutes later and it was a tie. At least she hadn't lost and she was free.

The cuff snapped snug on her wrist and she glanced over at the little lizard like minipet on the other end. Running in heels was never really advisable, but Sin had been forced to do it so many times it was practically an art to her now. Luckily she was also paired with a very speedy little Beebs and they managed to win the race against their opponents.
"Alright! Lets have another go!" She decided to keep the Beebs she was paired with a try again.

Sin really shouldn't have been racing around in heels, she cringed and gasped as she stepped on some uneven ground and almost rolled her ankle out. For a moment she was reminded of the pain from the long ago island field trip and it slowed her down so much the race was almost lost. Luckily her little Beebs was still rearing and it sped along so quickly that she hobbled to keep up. It was thanks to it's determination that they won! She felt the cuffs unsnap and decided to find someplace to rest her legs a little while.

Resisting the urge to whip a certain demon in the backside, Levi mirrored West's smile, once again adorning her fluffy cuff and not-so-fluffy critter. See ya'on tha'other side. Levi gestured with a nod for them to both find a place at the starting line for the next race. This time, her tiny partner did well to co-operate. During the actual run, there was no hissing, clawing or glaring between the tatzel and her beebs right up until the finish.
Levi raced to win but not nearly as quickly as West had. The tatzel kept on his heels but for some reason, the boil was putting up one heck of a challenge this time. In the end, both of them would have freed a mini. This time, when the cuff was removed, Levi immediately picked up the serpent-tongued beebs and placed in on her shoulder. The mini seemed to be panting due to overexertion; they did have tiny little legs. See? I'told ya I'd git ya'out, eh? Ya'did good, critter. Now just settle down fer a'bit. Go'on. Even if it wanted to flee, the mini simply couldn't at that moment. It was just too tired. For now, the feisty critter just stayed there like a marshmellowy cushion draped over her shoulder.
So what happened? Did'it bite ya? Surely something must've happened to prompt the boil to move that quickly. Gotta tell ya'boil. Ya'll ure hussled'on down there mighty quick. Few times I dun seen ya'at top speed like'that. Both hands on her hips, Levi offered what was a small but evident compliment and recognition of his accomplishment- that is not to say, however, that she declared him the winner. N'ya got 'nother critter outta it. Bet yer glad 'bout that. No, Levi knew West was not all that keen about smaller creatures and tending to them. However, he wasn't one to treat Master poorly either so...
Levi just chalked it up to the wrath demons adoration for violence. On that front, she peered around the other stalls again, smiling when something came back into view. Don't suppose ya'll would wanna teach any critters a'lesson 'er two. Whackin'way at them pesky thingars with'a giant weapon none.
But ya'll could watch? Tail taking up the demon's again, the ghoul pointed towards another booth. There was no way he'd just watch and, as was the case before, Levi banked on his retaliation.

After all the commotion at Cricket's booth, Yukio found himself back at the handcuff racing booth yet again, thinking 'why not?' since he probably needed the exercise to work off the excess energy any way. It turned out to be an easy win with the adrenaline coursing through him but what surprised him even more was his partner's willingness to go along with him even when the handcuffs went off. Looks like he wouldn't be going back from the festivities empty handed after all!

Wondering around Nessa found herself back at the booth with the beebs. She watched for a bit and deiced to give it another shot, after all she had already won twice before. she walked up to the booth where the little beeb creature cuffed itself to her arm and they set off toward the racing field. As soon as they got there the beebs took off and gave a tug at the arm but Nessa was running right after it. Out of breath Nessa crossed the finish line and looked up to see that her opponents where still in the middle of the racing field. She picked up the beebs gave it a little pat and wondered off to find something else. SN: littledevil point and beebs please/thankyou (OOC: Nessa)

"Mmhm." West accepted another cuffing, this time with a cold, metal ring instead of a fuzzy one. He grabbed the attached minipet and tucked it under his arm. There was no way he was letting it pull him along, nor would he let it hinder his progress if it happened to be a slowpoke. The demon stood poised at the starting line until he was given the okay to go. Then he ran like the wind.
It was easy to forget where he was as they sped forward, but never who he was with. They could have been anywhere at that moment—racing through a forest, across some human world parking lot, or right here, around an idiotic booth—and he would have been content. He stayed silent as they were declared the winners, watching Levi coddle her new friend. His beebs had been left to its own devices once they had been freed, but West hadn't stopped it when it had latched onto his boot, hooking its little hands into one of the straps.
"I can move when I gotta," he replied once he'd caught his breath. West looked off in the direction she had, nodding practically before she'd even asked. "An' this," he shook his foot, "can stay in th' closet like th' rest. I think Master chases 'em all in there anyway." He turned a bright-eyed grin on his ghoulfriend. Whacking and weapons were two of his favorite words.
The boil's tail tightened momentarily, squeezing hers in childish excitement. "I won't be watchin', ghoul. You'd better get ready t'lose." He gestured toward the next booth, encouraging Levi to lead the way.
