Iblis watched as D.L used chaos control, but he didn't send himself with them. "NNNOOOOO!!!" Iblis yelled as D.L teleported them away. A tear ran down her face. The next thing Iblis knew, she and Nina were back in the ruined city. Iblis stood and looked around, but D.L was not with them. "No...no, no, no! ...Why...? Why didn't he come..? Why didn't I do something...? Why can't I do anything RIGHT!!!" Iblis said in despair and frustration as she fell to her knees and beat her fists against the ground. Nothing made sense to Iblis anymore. She was so confused and angry. She knew that D.L was in so much trouble right now and she wanted to help him, but now she was back in the city with Nina...

Nina noticed Iblis was in despair but she couldn't walk without hurting herself, she frowned slightly then looked down at the ground sadly. "I didn't expect him to save us..." she mumbled quietly then shook her head, she wondered if it was really part of Light's doing and maybe he was taking slight control. Nina didn't really believe that though but maybe D.L did it for a reason, she was confused on what though.

Most of the rank-and-file guard units dropped with the jolt, but the MR-01s are more robust: the jolt does fry a couple computer cores in the arms closest to the jolt, but the cores in the other arms, the turret, and in both legs seamlessly took control of the motors and compensated for the disabled sensors, and Megan puts away the LCD and takes her M60 back out while more reinforcements are summoned to eliminate the treat.

D.L landed and winced in pain as the torrents shot at his leg and side, he stood weakly though breathing heavily but quickly released chaos spears at the torrents. D.L was losing some blood and with the new wounds appearing each time he got hit, he was losing way more energy each passing moment.

D.L glowed a dark aura around him, preparing for a bigger blast at the torrents. A shield of energy surrounding him weakly as he prepared, he then released it and tried to knock everything back with a burst of energy.

"Ok, well start there", he said finishing up the last joint and sealing up the leg. "Alright, you should be fine...", he said as he was about to walk off. Until, his chest felt a rhythm from a distortion in the air. Possible someone might have used an unnatural energy source. "Was that a.....Chaos Control", he said to himself tidying his hood and felt around for a moment. He wasnt quiet too sure if it was chaos energy, but enough to keep his gun out. It might be just his head playing tricks on him again.

The pulse of energy that Light gave out was powerful enough to slam the MR-01s and Megan against the walls of the medical bay, along with the patients. Of course, the MR-01 chassis and Project GME are too robust to let that slow them down, and immediately Megan calls for a total lockdown of the base and strong guard presence at every exit, and queries the security system for any deployable countermeasures against chaos energy. Meanwhile the MR-01s stand back up, the only robots in the immediate area able to do so, and continue their assault on the turncoat.

Just as soon as D.L knocked everyone back against the walls, he sped up spinning himself into a spiky ball and headed out into the hall in seconds flat. D.L felt the pain in his head was increasing again but he was doing his best to ignore it, he would not let up and give in to the pain he was in and slow down, cause he knew if he did. It would be all over.

D.L was heading straight towards one of the exits, the doors though were being heavily guarded by now though but he didn't know before it was too late. D.L got knocked back into a wall by one of the robots and the others started surrounding him, he landed on his knees and started to cough up blood.

TD scanners picked up the energy pulse as well, he stood up on all fours noticing his leg was better. "Chaos energy... and a lot of it." he said and was staring towards the empire, although TD picked up a familiar signal of a she-wolf mobian. "Iblis is near by..." he didn't take his time standing there and started heading towards Iblis' signal, it was like a mix of chaos energy as well though for a moment.

"He can sense Chaos Energy?", he thought looking back at TD as his ears perked up under his hood. Where ever it was coming from, maybe there's a Chaos Emerald near by. And from the way the robotic hound was pointing it out, his senors must be very accurate on it's location. Which means he could be useful. But then, a more startling discover cmae to light when his senors picked up something with a name he hasnt heard since the stories he was told as a kid. "Wait!! Iblis? Ugh....guess the plan will have to wait....", he his eyes widened in surprise watching the hound run off. He quickly leaps into the air and wall kicks himself toward the running hound at high speed like the wind and touch back down running beside him appearing like a black flash. "As in the flames of disaster? That Iblis?! I thought Blaze and Silver took care of that thing.....", he thought narrowing his eyes down the path. What ever may come, he'll be ready for anything. After all, getting back home is his top priority. "Are you sure you know where were going?", he asked as he kept his pace down to match his speed.

TD kept his gaze ahead and nodded to Kiro's question, he was sure his scanner wasn't playing tricks on him because it's never lied before. "TD knows where we are going, Iblis is up ahead and with another being it seems..." he said in robotic tone, his pace increasing in speed until he finally reached the ally way. "We are getting closer..." starting to walk now scanning the area, he noticed the chaos energy was fading though back at the empire.

Iblis soon wiped the tears from her face and stood. She suddenly looked alert as she heard something off in the distance. It sounded like a robot, but there was another coming too. "Nina...do you hear that...?" she asked quietly as the sound got closer. Iblis wasn't sure what to expect.

Of course, Light moved too fast for Megan and the MR-01s to keep up, but from the comm buzz, some E-1000s have him cornered. Megan sends the order to execute Light, and the E-1000s in turn aim their energy cannons and start to overcharge them like a Covenant plasma pistol (if you've ever payed any of the Halo games).

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

"Another being? Someone else is there too?", he asked as he began to feel the sensation fading but still traceable with his instincts. Who ever it is, maybe they might know something about the location of the Chaos Emeralds and more information about how long its been since everything went downhill. The hooded shrouded in black duds stops around the corner to spot two mobian beings in the distance at the corner of his eye. "Is that them?", he asked TD quietly keeping a ten feet distance from them, appearing like a dark living shadow silently standing before them. TD would surely approach them, but the hooded figure remained still looking back at them with such deep focus and confusion. His turquoise azure gleaming eyes reflected off the dark ruined city's faded sparking lights and his long grey torn scarf was drifting from his neck in the cold wind like a beaten silhouette shade with no light to form it. Along the backside of his belt was a long slim curved object on his waist and a larger and much more wide object on his back wrapped in old ragged bandages. He would approach them, but his hesitation got the better of him since its the first time he's had contact with other mobians in a very long time. He never thought he'd see anyone again.

D.L looked up at the E-1000 in front of him, breathing heavily he stood weakly almost losing balance though. he had a plan but this might drain him completely and that was his last choice, he would rather risk it then to lose to these metal things.

D.L's body started to glow with a dark aura again but this time it was different, he was thinking of charging right through them with all his power protecting his body but shielding him only slightly. It was more of an attack then a shield with it's electricity but D.L was willing to risk it all, he would not give up when hes so close to freedom and charged at the robots with all his might straight ahead.

TD looked at Kiro for a moment then back at Iblis and Nina, he noticed they were in a slight more wounded state. He started walking out of the shadows though towards them, wagging his tail slightly with joy to see his friend alive. "Iblis! Your okay!" he said slightly more cheery but still sounded robotic, he stood in front of Iblis and felt like barking but held the urge back.

Nina looked nervous for awhile until TD showed up, she smirked slightly at the robotic hound on how it was acting. "Well... if it isn't the hound again, I think hes attached to you, Iblis... seriously." she said and slightly joked, she perked up her ears though when she heard there was another near by. "That reminds me... wasn't TD in a bad state last time?" she narrowed her eyes and looked around suspiciously.

Iblis heard TD and saw the hound dash to her happily. Iblis smiled, but there was also a look of confusion on her face. "TD, what are you doing here?! Last time I saw you, you were injured and couldn't stand... What happened?" Iblis asked curiously, agreeing with Nina. Iblis hadn't noticed Kiro yet. She was just glad to see her robotic friend again.

The dark hooded hedgehog kept his head down to hide is face as he still stood there watching TD greeting the two mobian females. "So he knows them...", he thought seeing that there was a more accurate assumption that his hound droid wasnt like the others. It figures that sometimes Dr. Eggman's robots can sometimes develops a will of thier own. How that is possible was still a mystery. And it appears there was no actual Iblis, but just someone with a similar name which made things kinda unexpectedly awkward, yet relieving. Now the big question is, what will Kiro do or say? It's been so long since he had seen another mobian or in fact a natural living creature for sometime. He then shakes off his hesitation and decides to remian silent and go with the flow. He didn't mind if anyone would notice him or not standing with his arms crossed quietly ten feet away.
