[Frontierland - Returning to Medea]

When Mjoll exited the bathroom, she would find Bastion standing at the doorway, barring anyone from entering. He had both hands on the door, playing guard as a heavy set woman with a stroller tried to ram her way through. His legs had taken enough beating to bruise, but he didn't budge. She'd given him a command..

Mjoll slid out from under one of his arms and exited, walking away to answer Medea's call. Bastion realized it was her when he saw the dress, and his arms fell to his sides. His head turned, very slowly, to one side, and the world in his eyes became fuzzy, and pink.

Everything was turning fuzzy, and pink, and bubbly.

He blinked, a slow and lazy action, and then he sighed a deep, long, head over heels sigh.

And then the woman rammed her stroller into him one last time, knocking him off his feet and running over him to get by.

TOMORROW - going back to Medea

Before they could really go again, Tseng heard Medea calling out to them all.

"Oh. It seems we are through here then!"

Perhaps someone else had managed to snatch the fluffy beast that lurked within that strange ride-contraption-thing. There was little use in worrying about it. They were being called back.

"Come Soren! Medea awaits! Onwards to glory!" he said enthusiastically before running back to find the Priestess.

[ Out to the Frontier(land): Fleeing to Medea ]

It took a few moments for Nkosazana to regain her composure, especially with these clusters of humans continuously going by--and ignoring--her on the ground. It was possible that one or two of them were offering their hands, but the hipster with Mickey Mouse ears really hadn't noticed, terrified of the strangehold that the strangely dressed human had both captured her in and released her from.

Though she couldn't help wondering why, exactly, the human had released her. Frankly, so long as that JOY-infused strangehold remained on her, it was very likely that Nkosazana would have been done for. If it was her, and she was defending her people, she would have kept going. ... Of course, it wasn't like the silly humans knew any better. She looked down at her body, once again, and snorted in disgust at her outfit. It would be nice to get out of this thing and put on something a bit less ridiculous and a bit more sane. Warmer, too. She missed having longer sleeves.

Though, she had to admit, in comparison to her home, this human land was sweltering. Crowded and sweltering. Did these humans know anything at all? Nkosazana sighed as she finally came to her feet, brushing her ridiculous outfit off as much as she hated it. Even if she wanted to take the thing off and rip her bracelet off, she was in this disguise for a reason. Ripping it off of her would not accomplish anything, especially when Medea was looking for them to accomplish something while they were here--

Speak of the Head Priestess, and she appeared, didn't she?

Yes, this place was filthy. With all of its JOY and insane humans, it could not be allowed to continue to live. They had to go home and plan how to destroy this thing once and for all, before they used the JOY they were collecting to take them down. Could they collect JOY? This certainly seemed to be an efficient factory for it, as much as she could not possibly understand why they enjoyed any of these things.

Nkosazana was all too happy to make her escape from whatever this strange place was to join Medea once again, though she had to ponder over what was worth telling her. What had she found out, really, other than humans were very strange and seemed to enjoy dressing up not as monsters--like they did on the day of Halloween--but like giant animals?

When she arrived in front of her priestess, she bowed her head, before reaching up and taking those stupid Mickey Mouse ears off. With pursed lips, she observed the item, before speaking up herself. "Well, offered Nkosazana, showing the strange ears before tucking them out of sight, "it seems that humans greatly enjoy traveling together in close packs, though I am not sure what purpose this accomplishes. It makes them much easier targets, though, as where there are one, there are bound to be others, so perhaps we can just harvest them all at once. They also have absolutely terrible taste in music, though I am not certain if that will help."

Of course, maybe introducing them to music that was good would make them faint.

"Finally, I have found that some humans choose to dress themselves up as oversized ... minipets. I ran into one that looked like a rather large, dog-like creature. It made some strange laughing sound before trapping me in its grasp. It must be stopped."

Determination.

Now that she took a moment to pause, she saw that Medea was once again surrounded by foxfire. Saying nothing further on that topic, the priestess simply nodded.

[Leaving Tomorrowland, second star to the right and straight on till Medea]

With Medea summoning them back Soren was more than happy to follow Tseng. He liked the other stallion well enough to even use a verbal agreement. "Yes." While the Conquestian went running off Soren did not, striding purposefully through the packed mass of humans.

Of course his purpose was to inflict as much pain to humans as possible in a somewhat secretive way, so he used his width to shoulder into as many as humans as possible. The more toes he stepped on the better, and a tiny smile tugged at the corners of his mouth as he knocked one small child over as he moved past.

Jay looked disappointed as Fai’s experimenting led to only stuffing falling to the floor. “That’s anti-climactic. I was expecting something more exciting,” she admitted, ignoring the horrified gasps from the other customers in the store. She picked up the remains of the torn toy before idly throwing it back at the famine horseman. “You can’t even use these as weapons. Boring.” She felt compelled to take a few more off the shelves anyways. They were sort of cute in a way.

She looked over at both Fai and Kiwi. Jay shrugged and began to make her way back toward Medea. “Yeah, seems like it! I wonder if we can do anything with these toys?” Jay cocked her head while ferociously throwing a stuffed martian plush at the cashier before exiting the store at last.

“Humans are weird,” she told Medea. Fortunately she later added, “Humans seem to like going on these machine things…? They all wait in line just to get on and scream.” Jay scratched her cheek.

Medea listened to their ramblings attentively, taking mental notes as needed. This was what happened when one neglected to see the world around them for what it was, when one left those filthy humans to do their own thing.

"Then there is only one choice, from these terrible turn of events," The Head Priestess was adamant. "We shall storm their central castle, destroy everything they hold there, and take from them what they value the most."

Since they were kind of standing at the gate of Disneyland and the castle was very, very evidently in the center, it wasn't exactly like it was too hard a find either. As the horsemen passed by, they could see various Humans simply wandering and shambling around in a very slow undead-like state. Medea ignored them for the most part except to skirt around them - not wanting to dirty her hands or robes any further. She didn't stop until she reached the drawbridge, beckoning to the other horsemen. "Now we shall destroy everything they hold there, and take-"

She looked around for a second. There were some stores with ridiculous wares, cheap products compared to the usual Horsemen refinery, and then in the distance, there were some horse-like minipets.

- "And take their minipets." She triumphantly finished, gesturing towards the stables, where the Humans obviously kept their minipets.

Round and round.

Up and down.

Manyara had been lulled into a weird, trance-like state by the movement of the strange elephants, so she greeted the sudden surge of Medea's power with a startled growl. The ride slowed, then stopped, all the elephants descending with a sad sort of hiss.

"WHO DARES," Manyara snarled, vaulting out of her elephant only to see the others approaching the castle. She heard Medea's orders. Take their minipets?

... The elephants were minipets, right? She immediately turned around and started trying to tear her elephant free from its machine shackles, clawing at the paint and scrambling back up to attack the bar that held it in place.

Mjoll followed Medea taking note of what was there. Everything, she liked Medea's way of thinking, taking their minipets. The Horsewoman smiled as she walked, not caring if Bastion was following her. "With pleasure my Priestess." She said bowing. She looked like Rapunzel, but Rapunzel the horsewoman was not. She could easily steal into the castle.

She grinned causing havoc, and while she was at it she was nicking some of the stuff in the boutique by first going through the little racks outside she paused, wait she didn't have enough arms for this "BASTION~~" She called in a sing-song voice, "Bastion~ be a dear and help me out here. I need something to carry all this in." She paused, "There's a cart thing over there pulled by a horse." She added pointing to horse and trolley.

"That'll suffice." She added as she went back to plucking things, moving inside to the racks "These are sure to delight the foals if they come in my shop." She cooed checking over the fabric to make sure it was acceptable, before spotting. "Ohhh chairrrssss!!!" While she was 'shopping' she made a point to scare any humans and their foals in her way. She might've even stepped on one at some point, she wasn't sure, but she had to have those chairs for her shop. They'd make a lovely addition. Even if they would end up in storage for a bit.

"Where is Bastion, Really I do need some help." She sighed waiting for the horseman bush creeper to catch up.

Ying heard Medea's call, and grabbed Salbei's hand. In the excitement of destroying this Jack-forsaken place and taking minipets, she completely forgot that Salbei was a sage, and it wasn't right to treat him this way.

"Quick! We must aid our fellow horsemen!!!" she called out, running straight to the carousel and punching a rather dapper woman sitting atop it. "WE MUST FREE THEM!!!!"

Bastion heard his name being called, and it was the sweetest sound he'd ever heard. That high pitched, shrill harpy cry sounded like the tinkling of sweet bells to the horseman in love. He lurched upward from the position he was still in, on the floor at the doorway to the ladies bathroom (hawkward) when he heard it, and he leapt forward, following the sound of his name coming from her lips -

He stopped just a few short feet from her, and stared, his eyes widening to saucers.

"You.."

His whisper was ragged and trembling.

"You got my name right."

Of course, this could only mean one thing. Mjoll was obviously in love with him. Flooded with a new sense of determination and courage, Bastion roared, following her command and attacking the trolley. He jumped onto the side, shaking it like a rabid animal until all of the people inside jumped out in fear of the clearly deranged hipster. The two trolley workers did not run, but they instead attempted to get on either side of him. He cracked his knuckles and scuffled with one, throwing the driver into his co-worker and leaving them a groaning mess on the floor.

Bastion was up on the white horse in moments, patting its head lovingly and making a soft clicking noise with his mouth. The horse trotted forward, and he led it, and the empty trolley, back to Mjoll.

When he arrived, slowly cantering forward on his white horse, Bastion was able to do something he'd never been able to do before. He looked down at Mjoll with complete, and utter courage. A rather dashing smile toyed at one side of his lips.

"Your ride, my lady."

Nailed it.

Mjoll's brows lofted as he said she got his name right, "Well of course, come now no time to dawdle, we must finish shopping before Medea changes her mind." She was sure she'd been saying it right along besides what's the difference between Bastoink and Bastion, and all those other things she'd called him?

She rolled her shoulders in a shrug and started loading the trolley with goods she'd nicked from the stores. "I've got enough chairs if you want one you're welcome to help yourself." There was another pause, oh look swords, "Bastion, look at these." They were behind a protective glass "Why would they ever keep their weapons in such a silly place? They can't wield them there." She tapped the glass pondering if it was breakable. She summoned her own sword and swung it at the glass shattering it. "Take what you want if you need a new one."

She said as she moved along to see what else there might be.

She said pausing as she looked around for the next place to terrorize. "Look, I seee houses over there. Let us see what we can plunder there!" The horsewoman was all for shopping for decorations for her store. Surely there were things they could use. The Village was defiantly a promising thing. "Maybe we can get you a house."

Was she looking out for him?

Bastion wasn't really in the mood to shop. He was too busy feeling like he could climb the tallest mountain and claim it for his own, at that moment. He leaned down on the horse, patting the taut, lean neck in front of him, and watched Mjoll fill up her trolley with all sorts of goods. She was.. really taking this job seriously, wasn't she? He hoped the portal Medea was bound to make could handle all of the loot they were going to ride in with, when she was done. The mention of chairs made him laugh - she wanted him to get chairs! Such a thrifty little minx. He shook his head and continued to let her shop to her heart's content, while his heart contented to watch her move. That lovely swish of her skirts, the way her hair never settled, those hips -

"Swords?" He shook out of his reverie just in time to hear the glass crash, and his mouth fell open in surprise. Had she just.. well. Well. Bastion licked his lips and grinned a devious grin, hopping off his horse to carefully start collecting the swords. "I guess I'm going shopping, after all."

All this, she'd done for him. In an act of absolute treason and boldness, he, carrying a bundle of swords in his arms, leaned in and pecked her on the cheek, before sashaying away to place them on the trolley. Perhaps he was getting a little too sure of himself, with this new found confidence.

"Thanks, dear."

Just a little.

Once they had found Medea again, Tseng eagerly awaited to hear what they were to do next. The humans shambling around as they were was a little odd, but he paid them no heed. For now was the time for destruction and conquest.

"WOOHOO!" he hollered before bolting off towards the minipets.

"COME NOW! BE FREE! AND MAYBE BE A SECOND MOUNT FOR MEEE!" he shouted as he grabbed a hold of one of the horse like thing to try and break it free from its shackles.

"COME AWAAAAY WITH ME!"

Currently, he was too busy to figure out what else he should loot.

Looting and pillaging? Soren smirked, eyes already flickering around for things that he wanted. There was nothing quite like taking trophies from his victims, and so he headed for a clearly insane woman, taking her fur coat from her and tossing it over his shoulder. First trophy secured he then made his way toward the carousel, where the minipets needed to be freed.

A sword that apparently held some significance was trapped in a rock in front of the area, so he pulled it free, brandishing it as he made his way toward the horses. He chose one of the white steeds at random, striking a startled human with the flat of the blade before liberating the mount.

Conveniently Lifen found some matches.

Doing what she could, she slowly walked along the flumes, flicking a match against the wick, slowly flicking them against the leathery seats, before the mechanism continued to throw the flumes out. She hoped that they would create some kind of mass chaos as the fire licked outwards. Destroying it made her feel better about everything. Even the fact that her feet were soaked.

Leaving the establishment, she caught sight of a little store along the way - it was obvious that it was one of the lesser . . . joys of the area, but there was just something, something she had to keep. This dress would do her good, and if not, she could steal the sequins.

After a bit of walking, she spotted Mjoll and Bastion, raising her eyebrows lightly. It seemed that they were at least enjoying themselves, and giving them a look, continued towards some kind of hattery.

To the winner went the spoils, hmm?
