BOOM BOOM BOOMThird time wasn't a charm for Taima, as she managed to miss most of the balloons again. Failure was lame and frustrating and annoying, so Taima decided to step away for a while. She would be back, though--the game was pretty fun, when she wasn't being terrible at it.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Haters? The name of this booth stood out within the love love aura other booths surrounded. Interestingly, it was divided into halve and each of them sit a grumpy face minis.
His attention was drawn to the balloon game, since he interrupted the horseman one. It's a good time to test his shooting skill. He picked up the darts and targeted on the pink heart one. He clearly left the first one unbroken since it's black and then shot the second one. Boom. It popped. The following shot was missed as the head suddenly shoved him. Good job, head :/
He patted the head to comfort it a bit and shot his dart again, another pink balloon pooped. "AJ! I want to talk to the minis! The head pulled him on his sleeves when he was throwing the dart. Obviously, the dart shot somewhere, AJ just hoped it won't land on someone. Since the head was pestering, the boil threw out the darts quickly without noticing one of them was black.
When he finished, he turned his head towards the head and put his head on the two sides of the head. "Bro. Can. you. give. me. some. times. to. play. a. game?" There was a smile on his face, but the head was scared.

Xiu's expression changed into one of horror as her friend was kicked out of her grasp and onto the ground. On one hand, her aching muscles thanked the stranger for his help, but on the other hand, had that really been necessary?
In either case, it seemed as if both Vaith and Avery were out cold...and speaking of cold, wouldn't they be chilly just...lying there like that? Xiu didn't have anything to drape over them so that they could preserve her warmth, so she did the next best thing. Moving forward, she gently picked up the minipet and made her way over to where Vaith was laying. Setting Avery down beside the boil, she lifted one of the reaper's arms and draped it over the unconscious mini. There, nice and warm!
...Clearly this idea wouldn't backfire in any way.
Straightening up, she turned back to face the imp ghoul, only to find the little devil scampering off. Sigh. With a shake of her head, she turned to look at the boil who had kicked Vaith off of her. Uncertain what she should say, she simply met his expression with a matching ":T" face.

"Delicious here having the meaning of burnt?" Makoto replied with the kind of cheerfulness that one spoke with before axe-murdering someone. His expression only darkened when he was jabbed by his annoying cousin.
"You never take care of things, thats the problem. And nothing in my room is fixable via duct tape. Perhaps your blood and sweat and tears will be suffice though." Makoto growled, twisting violently to wrench one of his elbows into Shoji's large tail, his other arm jabbing down just as violently into one of the boils beneath him (he didn't really bother to pay attention to which, if not both.)
After Shoji extracted himself from the pile, Makoto flicked his ears and tail to make sure they were in tact and, finding that they were, picked himself up delicately from the horse and the crow. Staring down at the two, he gave a theatrical sigh. "Must you always be so pathetic, Xavier?" He questioned blithely, rolling the crow over with his foot.
His attention, unfortunately, then turned to Efflo. "To one of us at least." He responded quaintly, smiling. "I don't believe we've been properly introduced yet though."
And as for Maddy...
The demon laughed at the display, his ears folding back against his head and a deep, resonant growl cycling in his throat. "Now, now," He rumbled, running a claw up the center of of Maddy's throat to his chin. "Don't look so flustered in public. You'll make a scene - and we wouldn't want that outside of private quarters, would we?" He leaned back, his lips curling deviously into a smirk. "Deny it all you want, but that expression of yours implies otherwise." He tapped Maddy's cheeks with a claw, laughing at the heat that radiated off of them. The purpose of the festival seemed all but lost now on the Inugami; instead, he just wanted to have fun terrorizing these poor souls.

Rigged games-- maybe he shouldnt have laughed. Or maybe he shouldnt be trying to pop it behind his back as he was talking to this ghoul.

She still looking a little doubtful, her gaze flickering towards Vaith and Avery before it moved back to the boil.
"I wasn't under the impression that being well-acquainted meant that you could deliver a jump-kick to someone's head." There was a pause, and then she sighed, lifting a hand to rub at the back of her head, "But I suppose that you saved me from being crushed, anyways, so thank you for that."
She offered him a small smile and a bow of her head. "It's nice to meet you! I'm Xiu." She turned then to eye the booth again, taking in the game that was set up. Well, while she was here, and now that the chaos had, er, settled down some..."I think I'm going to give it a go. What about you?"

BOOM BOOM BOOMThings at least were turning for the better with not angering the other ghoul from her near run in. In fact, there were compliments and a nice pleasant voice. "T-thank you," Maple blushed as she grabbed onto one of the lose ends of her head scarf.
"I-I wa..sn't h-having much ..l-luck either," she told Mjoll with a glance at the boards, "I-I u-usually don't..." With that and anything really. And it was unfortunate that the prizes were really cute too. All black and dark, and mysterious as they were.
Maple chewed on her bottom lip, looking up at the Horsemen and then at the darts and then at the balloons. And tried again.

"We're in that kind of relationship, no worries, miss!" Ixel waved his hand, in a "dont mind, dont mind" manner. He seemed to resemble Vaith in that way, although looks wise, he looked nothing like the boil who was now sleeping with Avery in a corner.
(YES THAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP XIU.)
"I would never jump kick a ghoul though so you dont need to worry there."
"You should! Pink might be your lucky color, although I must say, black is more of my lucky one." Ixel pressed a dart against his palm, in thought, wondering how to go for the gaudy pink colors.

BOOM BOOM BOOM"That kind of relationship?" Xiu squinted at Ixel scruntinizingly, trying to determine what exactly his "relationship" with one of her best friends was. After a moment of staring, she simply sighed and shook her head, the corners of her lips curving upwards in a faintly amused smile.
"Whatever you say. And it's good to know that I won't have to worry about you jump-kicking me in the head."
She smiled at the comment about pink possibly being her lucky color. Well, they would see about that, hmm? "Up for a friendly competition, maybe?" Xiu offered him a small grin before picking up a few darts, tossing them towards her targets.
...Hmmm well. Three pink and one black. Not bad!

Gene appeared on the scene, having made her way to her favorite exam giver ever's booth, only to find the poor man in a situation that reminded her of a certain festival a few Octobers ago. Did he just become a minipet for fun? Did teachers do that? Maybe just crazy, way too serious librarians.
Either way, she couldn't help but snicker at the way he was curled up with another student. If she'd known what'd happened to cause this, she probably wouldn't be too happy - but that was all time and place. This was now, and now was funny.
A picture was taken and sent to the students she knew, before she picked up the little Otokoyo and blew in his face. "Wake up, lazy bones."

"Ahah, no luck my wings. Look at you, hitting those balloons." She smiled as she picked up another set of darts and tried again. "You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, darling."
