She most certainly did not let out a short whoop of triumph (which means she definitely did) at the sight of the group. And if she wasn't mistaken, she even saw Kurai and Duo in the crowd. Although really, even just barely spotting Hissy Cow with her trainer perched on her kind of gave it away. It didn't take her much longer to weave her way through the crowded group of trainers to her friends, just in time to hear Duo's question about where she was. And the opportunity was too perfect, even if she could practically feel Fuutarou eye roll from his spot standing behind her. Without warning she snuck forward, grabbing Duo's shoulder gently and speaking up.
"Awwww, I just knew you cared! For the record, I got off to a bit of a late start."

Xander so far had been rather quite. Other then thanking the ranger for the free stuff, the blonde hadn't spoken. He was looking around at all the different pokemon that the large group had scattered about, interested more from a breeder's perspective then a rockets though he knew that soon he would have to switch that. His disguise was simple, dark green cargo pants, tan hiking boots, a white t-shirt, a black jacket that was currently tied around his middle since he wasn't that cold, a pair of fake glasses, color changing contacts and a backpack. Simple and something that people would remember as normal enough. If anyone asked then his name would be Darien. Kotetsu was stretched out on his shoulders at the moment and was looking around in interest. So many possible new friends and maybe some needed rescuing at some point!

Once fully scanned, Miu got up, stretched, then started walking off. Koorie watched her vulpix start on off and sighed. "We'd better get going... though it does look like there's a few desperate takers for the dumb-bird pokemon." She gave Lexis a nod and started to pick up the pace of her walking.

Kurai was glad to make another acquaintance, though they moved on as the group grew and started moving. At the ranger station, she was happy to accept the pack given to all, the Pokeball reminding her she'd left her own at home. Oh dear...
The shrill sound of the Pokemon at the heights of the mountains made her shiver, but she wasn't going to fall back on this...What if the poor thing was injured? She passed up the Doduo farm (after all, Hissy Cow was used to carrying her weight and was a sturdier gal), and then perked at Duo's voice. "Duo! I thought you might be around." She smiled brightly and wiggled her fingers at him in a wave. "I'm not sure where Oyumi is. I'm surprised I haven't seen her yet." She startled at her pale friend's arrival, then giggled...and stared at the Murkrow that had perched on Hissy's head. The Miltank made a noise of annoyance. What in the....WHY WAS THERE A BIRD ON HER HEAD?! The noise she made plainly said 'get off of me!'.

Looks like someone else had decided to join Shaun, so he greeted the other trainer as well. "Hi George! I'm Shaun, and this is Salvo." He patted the neck of his Tropius, who nodded at George, which caused the wide-brimmed hat that was currently on his head to wobble. "I'm just here to see it, or any other pokemon we come across. I'm a pokemon photographer," he explained, holding up the small digital camera he was carrying. When they passed a farmer offering to sell Doduos, Shaun hardly gave the pokemon a glance. Her certainly didn't nee a mount, his faithful Tropius already served that purpose beautifully. He did turn to snap a picture or two of the Doduos clustered around the farmer though, since the image of the Doduos fighting with themselves over the feed was a bit comical.

"You are probably right, if we get ahead of them... at least we won't step in anything nasty." Lexis followed Koorie, settling by the other trainers side. "Are you hoping to find any sort of pokemon in the mountains? I'm rather hoping to find a Sneasel."

Arwen edged suspiciously away from the doduo farm. While he thought it'd be advantageous to have a quick steed, he didn't do well with mounts, especially ones that looked like giant cotton balls with q-tips for heads and feet.
"They're probably badly trained, anyway," he said to the golden Poochyena at his feet in a feeble attempt to console himself. Their walk on the mountain would be a hard one, he was sure, but at least he wasn't alone.

((Tagging all three of you just in case)) While Dora took a few minutes to negotiate with the Doduo farmer - as badly-behaved as those birds looked, she thought it would be a worthwhile investment with a little bit of skill and control - Mordred tried to make himself comfortable on Hissy Cow's head. Busy talking to the farmer, Dora didn't really notice where her crow pokémon had gotten off to, which was a terribly unwise thing because he was quite fascinated with his new perch. "Mur!" He squawked, a clear 'no' and he settled down more comfortably and started to preen his feathers.... before giving Kurai a look-over and nearly screeching with joy at the shinies which adored her. With a happy squawk, the black murkrow hopped closer to the trainer, occasionally lifting into the air a little so that the miltank wouldn't get too irritated with him, and cast longing looks between Kurai's face and the shiny objects she wore. Wouldn't she give him one, please?

Koorie glances at Lexis, realizing that she was probably going to have a hard time subtly shaking this one; lovely. "Finding a pokemon?" Koorie shrugged her shoulders. "Unless it's something that really catches my attention, I'm really more here to solve the mystery than catching pokemon." Hearing Arwen's comment, Koorie glanced back and snorted. "Join the club." Maybe she could pass Lexis off on this person....

Lexis paused, giving Arwen a bold and saucy glance from the man's hair to his boots and gave a soft amused smirk. "Would you care for company? It is better to be ahead of them, then behind them." She smiled at Koorie. "Are we starting a club now?"

Arwen looked up when he heard someone speaking to him. The smile on his lips quickly died when he realized who it was, but emerged again much larger than before.
"I'm glad I'm not the only one," he said, as if exasperated.
Then, turning with feigned timidness towards Lexis, he nodded his agreement. He hid his own amused smirk with an awkward cough.
Parthenius wriggled closer to Koorie's ankles and looked up at her with curious blue eyes.

Remmy Shook his up and down. "I didn't think so too! I just got my Emolga a few week ago because I turn ten! So Emolga are the only pokemon i know right now, well that and Miltanks! My Mama and My Papa breed Miltank and sell there milk!" He said with glee! "Wait there a legendary Pokemon here? Wait ...what a legendary Pokemon? I just came up here because I saw alot of people going this way and thought it be fun to find a pokemon to be Squeeks and I new bub!" He giggle. The emolga didn't that water coming and was knock off Remmy head. When he go up he Laugh <"HAHAHA! That was a good one dude! But can you try this. He flew up to the Lugia's nose and let out a sinker *poot* then flew back to his owner head, with a giggle. Remmy laugh at how the two pokemon where play, he bet they where having fun!

"Yes, we do have to stick together don't we darling?" Lexis chuckled and looked down at the Poochyena sniffing around Koorie's ankles. "I don't believe I've seen such a color on a Poochyena. Yet, it is such a glorious shade of gold." She reached out and idly scratched the Glameow on her shoulder beneath her chin before the slim feline could become jealous.

Cael looked away embarrassed when Choco Billy the doduo salesmen called out toward him. He didn't have that sort of money, and it looked like Cloud didn't like them. He turned away at her herding and suddenly, someone was right there! He stepped back into Cloud in surprise. ""H-hi?" he stumbled, geting back into marching order. Cloud looked down at the fire type and waged her tail once.

Jack didn't see a point in spending her stanima too early. After all, there was work to do, and she led the rather timid, hungry-looking Doduo to the herd of people, mounting it calmly even as the Duskull circled and flit about Mordred.
It was only a cheap bird. It would do a job.
