Cathy gave a small smile as Shira told her she could refer to her by her first name. "Yeah, they're like this with anyone new. When Captain Rachel first rescued me off of the slave ship she was raiding, they tried to gang up on me too. I had a few fights with them but finally I managed to kill six at once. They backed off after that. The next morning I woke up they had left a pile of crap by my bed. Not literal crap I mean. Just random junk. Scraps of metal, half-eaten bits of food. That kind of thing. At first I was annoyed; thought it was some kind of rat practical joke or maybe their way of flipping me the bird, but the Captain told me it was like some sorta peace offering. Like, "Okay, you're stronger. We'll stop trying to kill you now," or something along those lines."

She shrugged and looked back at Lucien. "He took them on all by himself. He'll probably wake up tomorrow with some new presents." She looked at Atticus curiously. "Yeah, I noticed that. It's some of both I think. I can kinda tell after being around them so long. The only other time they've done that was when we had some weird-looking clown woman aboard. She paid us some good money to take her somewhere and not ask questions. She didn't cause any trouble but the rats avoided her like she had the plague. We had to yell at them just to get them to go on the same side of the ship as her and do their duties. Honestly I think they'd rather have jumped ship than tangled with her. Can't say I blame them too much; she creeped me out big time too. I was glad to see her go. She was just one of those...people...that gave you the jitters for some reason, you know?"

Niko followed her meister and sat with him, leaving Iko with Max. Trey you have an an incredible sense of finding shooting starts, how do you do it?

Lucian smiled at the sight of the rats fleeing "You filthy vermin now know to stay away from me." He said, mostly to himself. He turned his head to the group of people and suddenly, almost instantly and without warning you could tell the other Lucian was back. He smiled and gave a thumbs up at them and then noticed Cathy. He had to double check that what he had seen was true. He saw his perfect image of a girl. Someone who is part animal and part girl, he was dumbstruck. He stared at her for a moment and then looked away, he wasn't all that smooth around girls he was interested in, but this was so much different. She was his idea of the perfect girl. He thought about what he could say, or what he could do. But decided against doing anything just in case he would have messed up. He casually walked over to them, trying to block out the fact that Cathy was there "So, enjoy the show?" He asked with a small bow as if he had given his performance he used to do on the street.

Cathy raised an eyebrow when Lucien stared at her for a moment, but kept her blank expression. "It was alright. You move pretty fast," she told him, slightly impressed. She looked back at Shira who seemed to be eying up the rats. "Looking for more?" She asked her with a small laugh. "Be careful; if you kill the entire crew we'll never get there."

Even though it was dark, the clouds in the distance looked darker still. Cathy pointed at them. "See those? Thunderheads. It's a stormfront. We're gonna use that to sneak up on the fleet without being seen. Hiding in the clouds is the Shadow Skirter's specialty." Even as she spoke the wind began to pick up more. "If I were you, I'd get below deck before we hit it; you don't want to be up here when the lightening starts." She watched the stormfront approach with a neutral expression, her arms still folded. She looked over as Trey and Niko walked over to the other deck and began looking at the stars. "Huh. The rats weren't lying. There is another neko onboard." She watched Niko for a moment as she thought before looking back at Shira. "Somewhere in that stormfront is our target," She told her. "Best you all get some sleep while you can."

Wonder What il Face on the ship Trey thought to himself. on one of the beds He Was reading some kind of book from his bag it looked like some kind of bestiary full of notes and sketches He looked serious as he read through it

As Lucian had defeated the rats, Atticus would smirk, "That was a good way for you to kill time, right?" he asked. Hearing Shira, Atticus sighed, "You go and get some rest already. You need your sleep." he suggested.

"Shira, this is the first mission we've been on in such a long time, don't get too anxious or excited. Everyone should try and rest at least a little bit, before we reach our destination." Atticus said as he stared off into the clouds. "Don't make things harder."
