"Thank you, Po," Ferros replied gravely. "We are at your service should you require assistance." He nodded to Candace and her bodyguard. There was a tacit understanding among certain members of security, an acknowledgement that their bosses required minding and a silent agreement to keep them happy. Family was family. They were all in this together.
"With enough lessons, anyone learns eventually," Jordan answered Rep, his eyes narrowing with satisfaction. He didn't protest the squeeze. The relationship wasn't exactly a secret, though it might be wiser for others to refrain from being snide about it.

Well hellooo~ Tracey waved, Byr gladly waved back before inching closer and closer bit by bit. Rep was too busy now. Tracey should no longer have her... erm... hands full. "Thirsty?"

Tracey sighed at Byr. "Very thirsty indeed if you mean in a desire strictly for alcohol sort of way. But I can't indulge while I'm on duty. And it's particularly busy tonight." Rep had had her up all night sorting out the blue suit he was currently wearing, along with several alternatives when he couldn't make up his mind.
Rep was calmer than he had been all night. "If the lessons are harsh enough they either learn or the problem goes away permanently." As if making some silent point, he fluffed the tigerskin around his shoulders, a former pet who had flat out refused to learn what submission was. "Ahm no so fond of the harsh kind of lessons though." he crooned.
Mass unfortunately chose this moment to go and investigate the strange smelling blonde man at the other side of the room. Melvin looked interesting.

Covering his face and waiting for this meeting to be over, he felt something near him and looked up to see a very large, white tiger moving up to him. His mind did not repeat kittykittykitty over in his head, and he wasn't gripped with the urge to pet this monster stalking his way to him. His first urge was to run for cover, but there were many people and many chairs.
Jumping up to his own seat, he grabbed the back of another chair and held it in front of him much like a lion tamer. "No. Get back! Shoo!" He looked around, noticing that the tiger was rather fat and reached down to pick up a hot dog from the plate Saliva had left on the seat beside him. Setting the chair in front of him, he took the dog and then popped a pill inside of it before tossing it like a grenade at it. "GO!" He shouted, holding the chair back up again.

Mass paused, staring at Melvin and the chair with surprise, tail flicking. When he threw the hot dog, he bounded after it eagerly, chomping it up delightedly before turning back to see if he had any more. By the time he got back to where Melvin was standing, the world had gotten very strange.
He teetered in confusion before leaning down to lick the floor and the strange tiger reflection there.
He didn't stop licking the tile, Melvin forgotten for a time, before flopping over to roll around, wondering in a tigery wide-eyed sort of way what the hell was going on.

Rin was so proud of Melvin, standing up to the kitty like that. It was an improvement. So she quietly moved on and went back to the bar to fetch her drink and there, eyed Jerry over, "You look sick."
The raven, Calli, noticed Mass was getting all sorts of neat free treats tonight... so they deftly swooped to his side and eyed Melvin over hungrily.

"Shoo, bird. Shoo. Tiger, eat the bird." He told it, but it was now rolling around. It seemed it was working, or maybe it wasn't. Seeing he was solving his problems this way, he took another pillow, frowning that he wasting such a fine product, before pushing it into another cocktail frank and throwing it at the bird.
After he did this, he started walking over to the next seat to find a way to walk around these animals.

Calli offered a deep bellow of appreciation before gobbling down the second cocktail like it was nothing. She tossed her head back and it was gone... and so was she. Her head immediately lowered until just the tip of her beak touched the floor, the tapping sound of it seemed to startle her 'awake' but only momentarily before she drooped again.

While Melvin stepped over to another chair, he tried to wave at the bar. "Saliva!" He hissed. "Salivvvvaaaa." He needed his protection.
Too bad Saliva had her back to him as she continued to drink vodka at the bar.

Sepheran had hung close to the back of the room head down as his ears listened to the room around him, taking in everything. To be honest the meeting had only just started and he was already feeling grim, if this is what they had to work with War would be somewhat difficult. The young man's mind had already begun sorting people, their personalities, quirks, strengths, weaknesses. Most were easy, they seemed to show everything on their sleeves. Others not so much, it would take time to fully grasp their capabilities.
It wasn't until everyone had finished their speeches and began to mingle that Sepheran finally began to move. He lightly patted his pale snake who wrapped around his arm opening up his foggy eyes as he lightly tapped a white stick with a red tip against the floor bumping up against a few people muttering apologies playing the act of a blind fool. True, Sepheran did lack most of his eye sight, an unfortunate..."accident" from when he was still a youngster. Still that did not mean that the young man was weak or defenseless. Far from it actually, his lack of sight enhanced his other senses allowing the to mature past normal abilities...and the automatic dismissal of his capabilities helped too of course. After all nobody would even think to blame the blind man for the sudden flying knife which embedded itself into the unfortunate target's chest. Those outside the family often refer to these events as the work of the shadow, for nobody ever knows what form the killer takes. Somehow he moves in and out unnoticed, and never leaves a kill alive. Those who survive the initial stabbing often succumb to excruciating sickness and pain that ultimately leads to death.
Pretending to stumble Sepheran fell to his knees just to the side of Harrison. "What a group you've gathered boss...at this rate we'll all be killed before the first king falls," he whispered just loud enough for the boss and those close enough to him to hear if they were paying attention at all. "Be wary...choose not with your eyes but with your soul and you shall never go wrong. Words are merely things that can be twisted, but blood never lies," the male stated before quickly standing patting himself and bowing profusely. "S-Sorry!! Must have tripped over something!" Sepheran stated perhaps a bit too loudly then required before shuffling back to the wall 'tap' tap' tapping following him as he shuffled his stick back and forth on the ground.
Whoever the Boss decided on was of no real importance to Sepheran, they were all in the fight after all. A pawn would be just as important as a queen in this game of chess. A single action could bring about either victory...or defeat. Sepheran had always been a sore loser as well so it was only natural that if he was going to play in this game that he would do everything in his power to make sure they won...even if it meant fixing the game a bit. He would make sure the Boss was the one standing on the top in the end.

Jerry had given Nuk a stern look, pointing to his eyes and then to the shape shifter before slinking back to the bar to dwell on his mental images and a fresh, non-atomically-charged drink. The various doctors under Harrison's employ always set him on edge, and when Rin's voice popped up, he paled a little.
"Just... a bit dumb around girls, Doc." He smiled uneasily before pretending to be fascinated by his glass.
His brows furrowed at the sight of the Tiger licking the floor, though, and not because he had to mop it up when the creature was done. "Is... that cat alright?"

Rep glanced over at Jerry's comments and the anger which had subsided returned. He didn't show it though, just politely moved away from Jordan with an affectionate parting pat, stopping off at the bar for a drink along the way, hovering alongside Jerry.
"How? Whit's he doing?" he growled, looking over at the tiger, which was - at this point - laying on his back but moving his feet as if he was walking somewhere. Rep furrowed his brows, maybe he didn't need an explanation why something was wrong.
"Massacre!" he barked.
The tiger waved his legs in the air faster.
Rep did not look impressed.

"Oh, I see," Rin's voice was stern in that monotone over-analytical way she tended to do when examining someone. But the effort quickly diminished as her tone took on a more cheery 'I'm off duty right now' edge, "But nothing new then?" She offered him a passing smile before looking to what he was referring. About to suggest that perhaps someone just spilled some gravy before noting her own pet acting just as... unusually... Calli suddenly jerked its head back and began... barking?... Incessantly. Like a dog.
This had Rin running over alongside Rep. "Calli!... What the ********?..."

"Did he get into someone's drink?" He was much happier talking about the oddly behaving tiger than any new bullets that needed to be pried from his shoulder.

"It looks like all the animals have lost their minds." Jing decided to speak up from his new spot at the bar. The half human beast thing was also included but that was going to be left unsaid.
But that wasn't going to stop him from enjoying his water.
