Now that he had spoken with them, Kiwi had been standing to one side taking in the newcomers from behind casual flicks of his fan. Ambassadors, they called themselves. Hmmm. The way they carried themselves spoke volumes. Even more how they addressed his beloved king. He made a note to keep an eye on them.
But then the Voice came. In an instant, all faded to black, as it rose within his mind, within his very being. There was work to be done, their life, their essence had to be preserved. The darkness passed suddenly, and the voice with it.
Kiwi was filled with a strong sense of pride. He would do what he must to protect his beloved kingdom. And with that he bowed low to his king, a hand braced across the symbol emblazoned to his clothes, and stepped out through one of the portals to lands unknown.

Another "Ambassador" from Silver. Mengyao gave her a small nod, gesturing towards Lifen, who's eyes he caught and held just for a moment.
"Welcome to Edric," he said quietly. "We are beginning to turn the tides in favor of our kingdom. Should you choose to stay here and fight with us, I would be most honored, and I will share with you some of my power."
He gestured towards Lifen. "There is no time to waste; consider your decision as you follow my Empress to the next lands. Lifen, if you would be so kind as to lead our guest here with you..."
Another look passed from him to Lifen - this one clear: Be safe.
Molan's comments were not commented on by Mengyao, but he considered them carefully, an inscrutable expression on his pale face. The Silver Kingdom had fallen. They were no longer. After a long moment he looked away, back towards his Practitioner, who now stood in front of him.
"Imryn," said the Emperor. "While you are away, I would ask that you take careful note of any others you might encounter that are not of Edric. We are at war. It is time to learn of our enemies and their weaknesses. Carefully and quietly observe and monitor them, though put your safety before anything else. I should not wish to have you injured."
He stepped back and nodded, his eyes falling to Imryn's wrist where the mark of the kingdom lay ingrained on her skin.
"Go," he said. "And be careful."mangshra Shar is being sent to the East Valley!

Shar turned to face the voice that was talking to her. This person before her, the way he looked and held himself, he had to be their king. She listened to every word carefully but what he said she felt for a time she could not do. The loss of her home was to fresh for her, she couldn't join a new kingdom just like that but how do you say that to a king?
"I thank you good king but the wounds of my home are to fresh. I must decline for now but I will go to the next land as you asked of me." She turned to follow the one she was instructed too.

Smiling as she was given congratulations, she was nearly ready to tease Senga before the voice came down. So their first tasks given, Lan bowed and simple did as she was told. [Ollies out]

Kashiyoru opened his mouth to introduce himself to the newcomer, but stopped as his emperor began to address the stranger.
One does not interrupt the emperor.
As soon as it seemed appropriate to speak again; Kashi was cut off by a strange, and somewhat misplaced, music. When the terrifying flashes of visions ended he was a bit taken aback. His emperor's voice reached his ears once more and Kashi shuddered a bit.
"There's no turning back now." He whispered, to no one really.
His eyes slowly lowered to his hand and then shot back up. His prey-- err... that young man, Kashi still had his sash!
Maybe this wasn't going to be all bad. He grinned.

Her expression shifted only slightly, seeing out one person specifically before Infinity bowed to her Emperor and Empress. Then stepped forward to speak to Lifen. "You may count on my strength to use as you will, Empress." She said with a faint quirky grin. With a nod, she followed after the rest that were being sent to the East Valley. It was now that they would have their time to shine! And bring Pride to the Golden Kingdom.

Senga blinked as the Voice came, the visions, and then Mengyao began issuing orders. If not for his desensitization towards surprises (it wouldn't help in battle to scream if someone jumped on him from out of nowhere), he might have been shocked. Instead, he took it in stride, though a thick unease grew in his stomach when the assignment of groups were made. He turned to look at Jay, touching her cheek absently once everything was said and done. "It seems as though we're not together this time." It was odd to say; they had been in each others presence for years. To suddenly be yanked away during a time of battle, it was.. . unsettling.
Senga frowned, and lowering his hand, he took Jay's and kissed her knuckles gently to his lips. "In case we don't see each other after this - " He said quietly. He wasn't afraid of death, he was afraid of losing her. "Know that you are everything to me." It was an inappropriate thing to say - especially in a crowd full of people. But they were going to war, and war did not take kindly to survivors. If they both came away from this, there was no chance they would come away unscathed. Gently, he stepped away from the girl, and his eyes to turned to Lan.
"I look forward to working under you." He said, and his tone was tight. He bowed to the Emperor, and then with a quick flick of his jacket, turned and walked to the portals, to the ravaged lands beyond.

with her mission given, and the team assembled, Verusha wasted no time in heading out to do her duty, giving a few silver kingdom newcomers a small grin before taking her leave.

She grinned wildly at Lan. “But fighting is the best part!” Jay insisted. The copycat puffed out her cheeks childishly at the newly-made advisor. She didn’t need to be protected. Thin lips parted to protest, but stopped short when Senga spoke up. Anger flew away from her as she stared at him stupefied. The answer hardly surprised her, and yet it still did. A baffled Jay silently pressed her lips together while she attempted to articulate a reply, but grew distracted by music.
She crinkled her nose at the entrance of a musical voice. Huh. Jay briefly scrutinized the images that appeared, but didn’t find herself particularly entranced by the scenery. She had seen better. Jay hummed absentmindedly while she listened to Mengyao’s announcement. She grew attentive upon hearing her name, but frowned when she realized Senga wasn’t with her. Her mouth formed a tiny frown as she immediately looked toward Senga with a distressed look. Her lower lip jutted out as she reached for the hand on her cheek. “That’s not fair,” she murmured.
Tears almost welled up in her ears as she felt the warmth of Senga’s lips against her hand. “Wait, don’t go…” Her free hand tugged at his shirt. As if either of them would disobey the emperor’s orders. “And you’re everything to me.” Jay stepped forward as she tried to cup his face with her hands. She wanted just one more moment, just one moment to press a kiss to--. She felt his cheeks grazing against her smooth palms before he turned around to leave. Her frown deepened, but she reluctantly turned away to head toward her own assignment.

As they watched on, Jason heard a mysterious music. That was weird, he didn't remember hearing music before...
And then everything around him grew dark. He could hear something ominous and powerful. It took him a moment to realize it was the voice. The voice itself was commanding them all to gather miasma, or their kingdom would crumble. It was a horrible thought, but the task itself seemed simple. Until he heard their locations that was.
Once everything came back into color, he gripped onto his mana stone, looking at Zanthvos with a worried glance. the confidence he had felt before seemed tiny in comparison to the absurd task at hand.
Sighing, he spoke a few words, and his humanoid companion dissolved. He would need to conserve his magic for later. With no further words, he was off.

There it was. The Voice, the master of all their fates, instructing them in the way only it could. When it was done, Bastion felt underwhelmed. Perhaps this was because his thoughts were already so darkened and troubled. It didn't matter - the King issued an order, and Bastion looked ready to listen. He walked forward again, only to put his hand at his chest, and bow respectfully to his King. He had nothing more to say, to him - or anyone.
Bastion was ready to get this over with. He only hoped it would be quick.

"As you wish Sire. I will do my best to aquire any information that may be useful to us." Imryn replied, bowing to him before turning and heading off to her assignment. She couldn't help but feel a bit nervous about the whole affair, rubbing at the mark on her arm a bit before entering the portal.

[Entering!]
Even if the mission was fraught with danger, Jason had managed to escape any serious harm, and once he reached the golden walls of his homeland, he sighed in relief. He had done it, retrieved the miasma from the Valley. He was doing his duty to his kingdom
With a few words, Zanthvos was back at his side.
"Well! look who's the bad-a** now?" Zanth grinned. "Looks like you've gone and retrieved the precious miasma. All hail wonderboy."
Jason just laughed. He knew Zanthvos was just jesting.

Unlike the other Silvers claiming diplomacy and being an Ambassador, Ligaya had no qualms about wars. Wars meant trenches. And what were trenches but glorified ditches? But then again, Wars also meant death. Death meant graves. Graves meant ditches. Why was she complaining again?
Oh. Right. Ligaya could very well end up needing one herself. But her Kingdom was gone. She had nothing else to live for. Would someone like her be welcomed here? Ligaya didn't think she would very much be appreciated and as such, "I choose to help the Gold Kingdom but... I will choose whether to side later."
Like, after she did this visit to the Vale. And maybe cry herself into a fit for everything she'd lost.

The Voice. This lyrical yet somewhat unnerving voice. It startled Meixiang momentarily, though she quickly played it off as perhaps a random twitch. Hoping no one had seen her shocked expression and small jump as she had been pulled out of her thoughts.
Listening until it was finished, she turned to her Emperor and listened as well.
A bit relieved perhaps that she hadn't gotten called to a higher purpose, but she still had a purpose anyhow. Just...not as stressful. Maybe. One never knew with these things.
When it was time to go, she gathered up her skirts and gave him one last bow before heading out on her way. It was time to do the work of her Kingdom.
