This one was almost perfectly timed, Terra thought as she pulled the cookie out of the oven. The foot had fallen away from the body, and it was just slightly burnt, but it was still better than the one she'd made for Roch, she thought. She headed for the decorating area, getting together all the things she needed to decorate the spookie with.

Clearly she liked Xiu more than she liked Roch, she spent a lot longer making the cookie pretty before heading for the wrapping station to wrap it. She still wasn't quite sure why she should wrap a spookie, but she would try harder this time, she decided!

This time she was a bit TOO determined, leaving the box looking a bit ridiculous--but it was the thought that counted, no?

Shaheen didn't know anything about what was going on, just that she had been avoiding spending time in the lair if she could help it since her parents had returned. That meant wandering around the school grounds, usually, and when she became exceptionally bored, getting close enough to see what the giant social gathering was all about. Really, there was nothing about DETH or human Christmas that interested her, except for a strongly burning dislike for those who would actually defend human rights.

And so she wandered over, wings safely tucked in behind her so as not to have them jostled, though she did wince any time somebody placed their hand upon them to move around her. Filthy hands touching her wings. Never mind the fact that they were probably already dirty just from her sparring and rolling around in the dirt.

Approaching the first table laid out, she eyed the supplies set across it with a raised eyebrow. Cookie baking? Gift giving? The whole thing seemed highly ridiculous to her.

Didn't stop her from picking out supplies and mixing them together, though. She was nothing if not competitive, and these were going to be the very best damn cookies anybody had ever made.

Once everything was in the bowl, she dug in with her hands, squishing and mixing and pretty much just making the world's biggest mess. When she was finished, there was a lumpy mass of batter that was barely passable sitting within her bowl, but that she thought looked absolutely perfect.

Next thing she knew she had been handed some strange, metallic, human shaped...thing. She was told by some helpful booth goer that saw the confused expression on her face that it was a cookie cutter. Really? Cookies in the shapes of humans? Well, she supposed it could be fun to bite all of the heads off of them later....

She carefully, actually gently for once in her life placed the cookie cutter on top of her laid out dough as she saw everyone else was doing. When she pulled it away, she was able to peel out a perfect human-ish shape to put on her baking tray.

She may have been smirking with a little bit of self satisfaction at this point.

And now for the baking part. She picked up her tray and made her way over to the oven, shoving it inside with the slamming of metal on metal before roughly closing the oven door. There was really no need to be careful with this part and she had used up all of her gentleness with cutting out the cookies to begin with.

15 minutes she was told. 15 minutes to leave those cookies in that oven. Shaheen liked to think that she was a pretty good judge of time. Having never owned or used a watch or a clock, one had to get used to telling time just by the position of the pumpkin sun, or by gut instinct. When she had deemed that that exactly 15 minutes had passed, the horsewoman opened up the oven door, slipped on an oven mitt that was hurriedly shoved into her arms before she could grab the tray with her bare hands, and pulled out her tray of absolutely perfectly baked cookies.

She was so pro at this.

Okay so maybe it wasn't quite perfect, but to Shaheen it looked exactly how she meant for it to look and nobody could tell her any differently. Dropping the tray down on the table with the decorating supplies was enough to cause one or two limbs to break off a few of the cookies.

Staring at the supplies, her eyes were drawn to one color and one color alone. Red. This cookie needed lots of red. Red like blood. Red like war!

She set to work decorating her cookie, which end result was one that every DETH member would likely be more then a little upset by.

Apparently she was now expected to wrap the silly things, so Shaheen marched on over towards the second station, letting her gaze wander over all of the wrapping paper and ribbons and other things that she never in her life thought that she would be touching.

She really didn't care. She didn't give a pile of horse's steaming manure if she managed to do well with the wrapping. Her cookies were perfect, and that was all that really mattered. Who really cared about the wrapping job? She grabbed for the paper, tossed her cookies inside, and began haphazardly folding and taping down paper before grabbing some ribbon and just..wrapping. For some reason the tape didn't really seem like it wanted to hold, so the ribbon was going to have to keep the stupid paper shut.

The end result was really quite horrific, but Shaheen just shrugged it off. Besides, that man was giving her a gold sticker. Obviously that meant she hadn't done too badly.

Megaera didn’t want to bake cookies and neither did Tisiphone, but whatever Alecto wanted, she got. Ears perked up at the mention of free gifts and the demon excitedly bounded for the school auditorium. Wide eyes stared at all of the other occupants scattered around the stations. She headed for what appeared to be the first table and looked at the others busy baking their own cookies. Alecto took a moment to stare at the ceiling as she listened to the unusual music with wonder. She had never heard this kind of tune before. It wasn’t particularly delightful, but not distasteful either. Megaera hissed in her head and Alecto shook herself out of the daze. The hellhound hardly appeared fazed when a foreign voice intruded upon her mind. At the very least, it was helpful and giving her information and instructions on what to do next! She nodded her head and washed her hands.

She slid back toward the first table and tentatively collected a myriad of ingredients. Alecto tried to ask someone. “What do I do now?” No one answered. It was just Alecto and her other selves. She shrugged and went about as normal. Hopefully she’d make it work.

Unfortunately, she didn’t make it work. Alecto cocked her head at her monster of a creation. It was a horrendous mess. Apparently it was supposed to be batter, but hers was more of a lumpy, goopy mess. Her tail wrapped around her legs as a clawed hand reached out to poke her hard work. She retracted her hand when she felt its slight chill. The dog frowned at the mess. Why couldn’t the snow disappear already? She would love some heat right about now. Oh well.

As the voices in her head pestered Alecto to finish her work. She grabbed for the nearest cookie cutter she could find. Then she stared at it. What…? Megaera hissed in her head to get on with it already. Alecto nearly dropped the cutter before she went about cutting out her cookies from the batter. It actually worked. Woah.

Alecto laid her freshly cut cookies onto the tray and looked around curiously. Great! She had managed to come this far, but what now? She stared at the other students making their own batches, but still could not seem to figure out what she was supposed to be doing. It was only when Megaera stepped in and hissed for the dog to put the tray into the giant thing over there that Alecto actually did anything. “Oh! Okay.” She took her cookies to the oven and paused to relish the machine’s intense heat before finally shoving her cookies inside.

She attentively stared at the oven. Her ears twitched impatiently, but as soon as the timer rang she jumped up and retrieved her work.

The demon ghoul stepped back and gave her finished present a scrutinizing look. She seemed tempted to unwrap the paper and try once more, but considering she had giant claws for hands, Alecto assumed that she would only receive the same result in the end. Some students just weren’t cut out for the gift wrapping life.

When Mitsu heard about the human world Christmas over the ickycom she had been curious. Leaving her room hadn't happened lately so she decided to finally venture out. Considering this was a DETH event it was likely to be safe and lacking anything tramatic. She still didn't want to go on her own so she asked Shun to come along and was surprised to find that they were....making spookies.

Slowly she walked to a station and looked over the station with its spookie ingredients, colorful paper and bows. Once she figured out what she had to do she turned to Shun with a smile on her face. She was going to get to make him some spookies! He would probably be excited he never turned down her spookies and he always got that odd look on his face that Mitsu determined was a happy expression. Mitsu had never made gingerbread spookies before so she hoped they would turn out alright.

Carefully she got her supplies in order and looked over the various human world ingredients. A lot of it looked like things they had though she supposed it was because they were modified to fit this world.

"Ready?" She asked quietly.

Mitsu got started in putting all the things she would need together in one bowl even though the instructions said to add things one at a time and mix a few things separately but she obviously glazed over that section. It wouldn't matter right? It was all going to be put together in the end she just needed to mix well. Though After she managed to stir for a bit and was left with nothing but a lumpy mess she looked at the dough and then at the diagram. Was this right? Oh well, close enough.

Despite it being a Deth hosted event, Shun was a bit curious about it as well. Plus, it meant Mitsu was getting out and about for a bit. However, he was much less thrilled when he realized what the agenda of the day was. His stomach churned a little at the very thought.

Most likely... any cookies Mitsu made would be given to him too.

He was not looking forward to this. At all.

Grimacing a little, he nodded slowly to her. He was... as ready as he would probably ever be. Looking over the ingredients, he went on to begin mixing them up to make the dough. It was pretty simple, seeing how everything was already laid out. He just needed to mix it properly. Once he was done, his dough was a little on the lumpy side, but it wasn't too bad.

From there, he glanced over at Mitsu to how she was faring.

Mitsu didn't let herself get discouraged by lumpy dough. It would probably work itself out as she rolled it out and cut out the spookies.

"How is yours turning out?" She peeked over to see how Shun was doing and saw that his dough was in much better shape than her own. "Oh! You're really good at this."

She wasn't even paying attention as she tried to roll out the dough and cut out a spookie in the shape of a man. It was half shaped and missing a limb.....close enough!

"Mine is... coming out alright. I suppose."

They were supposed to shape the dough into little humanoid things. Shun didn't really bother trying too hard, making them a little mismatched and whatnot. He glanced towards Mitsu's again, seeing that hers were.. quite a sloppy mess so far.

This was promising.

"Eh. I'm not really that good,"
