Of course she bared very few things with her name on it. "And if you have any questions please let me know.", she stated. Well waiting on the steak to finish. Boredly she stretched well facing center of the kitchen. Soon she did a couple of high kicks like a cheerleader then sat on the counter a few feet from the indoor house safe grill. Poking the steak with a fork. "Cook faster you damn dead cow.", she growled. Since she put Melanie's on before her own.

Melanie smiled tentatively. She wasn't sure if the other knew her name or not. Mel didn't care to give out her name. Were they going to force her to change it? Were they even close to her town anymore? She watched the woman stretching, and could tell she was naturally athletic. If she were human, she'd be a very gifted athlete.
Mel watched the steak cook from a good distance away. She still clearly didn't want to get too close, physically or emotionally. This woman was nice, but she still wanted to escape. Badly. She didn't dare try yet. Too early.

========================================================= Athena BlackdawnSoon she survived Mel her steak with the proper steak knife and fork. Then got her a glass of water. Before putting the unseasoned steak on now. Slowly she relaxed now. But she was drifting into her thoughts. And jumped hearing a car door slam in the distance. Making her jump from her spot now. Going to a window she checked carefully. It was James this made her sigh and go back to the kitchen. He of course would take his dare time walking in.

Melanie smiled gratefully when the plate was in front of her, as well as proper eating utensils. She was glad to eat like a normal person for once, and have something that wasn't cold except for the water.
As she was eating, she heard a car door slam, and jumped as well. She looked up nervously. "Is he gonna be mad I'm out of the cage?" she asked nervously. She felt like this woman was more friendly than James could ever be. She was clearly surprised by the kidnapping, and Mel felt like she could talk to her without everything being reported to James.

James Leo He got out of his truck and sighed. Only to take his boots off on the porch. Under the hang over. Another storm was coming in now. Sighing he entered and was wearing just his swim trunks which were dry. As he carried dirty clothes into a side room. He smelt steak and appeared in the kitchen after a moment. Of course he was going to ask if she made one for him. Only to see Mel out of her cage. Before he could say much of anything. He was on his back in shock.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnShe did not respond to Mel. When James was in her sight. She launched herself at him. With him now under her she looked down at him. Her butt on his abs which was detailed from working out and his job. "Now James, dare left a hand and I'll make you regret it.", she warned. So he would not push her off nor slap her. "Look here James. You gotta stop locking this sweet heart up all the time. And did you honestly not think of her schooling.", she facepalmed and sighed. Only to firmly slap James upside the head. Then followed by slapping his face. He just laid there and took it. "Fine.", he grumbled. Of course Athena was one of the few women he would submit to. Since she did take care of the bills, money and all. With out her he knew he would be in deep s**t.

Melanie could tell he was in shock. For a minute she feared he was going to drag her right back into the cage, but then the woman pulled through. Sitting on him, and telling him what to do. She had to be some sort of guardian angel. Though she hadn't been thinking of schooling, the other had a point. She was still a teenager. She had to go to school. She was very glad at least one of them was looking out for her.

James LeoHis body was showing well toned muscles. Before he could fully enter the kitchen. He was challenged by Athena who didn't back down. "Go take a shower before entering the kitchen.", she growled. "Okay mighty kitten.", he said. Before she gave him a swift kick in the butt. Now he laughed and gone to his room and found clean clothes. Then he showered for a short while.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnShe stood up and 'dusted' herself off. After she told James to shower. She sighed and gone back to her steak. Which was partly cooked through on one side. Turning it over she looked at Melanie,"Need steak sauce hon'?", she asked. It was like she just did not attack her best friend in the manner that she had. Nor put the man in his place.

Melanie watched the exchange, still in shock. Did she just...put him in his place, and get him to leave the room? He didn't even speak to her. And the girl made it look so effortless. She could tell those two got along. Though they should. They were siblings, weren't they? When asked about steak sauce, she just shook her head. "How did you do that? You made it look so easy." she said, meaning how did she put James in his place.

James LeoHe took his time drying off and got into fresh pajama clothes. Which was silk pajama pants and a silk button up shirt. They were both gold in color. As he left the shirt unbutton. Then he was allowed into the kitchen. As he now seen Athena eating her steak with Melanie at the table. Right now he was looking for food.
========================================================= Athena Blackdawn"I've known him for years. That's key of it.", she stated. "He also knows to respect me cause I control the money. Despite him owning the house and such.", she added on. Then she took a bite of her steak and moaned. It was on the plate and bleeding. Of course she liked it medium well.

Melanie was sure not to look at James, even when he entered. She kept her full attention on the girl who apparently wished to be called 'Sister' or 'Warrior'. Strange names, but whatever. Clearly she didn't want to be called by her real name. Whether it was because Mel wasn't trusted, or she just didn't like her real name was unclear. When she heard the explaination, she knew she wouldn't be able to do it anytime soon. She was glad to at least have a semi-normal moment. Eating steak beside a nice person, who she would like to be friends with.

James LeoNow he washed the dishes and sighed. Before he got a bag of chips and ate. "So Athena, have you stayed in all this week?", he asked. He noticed Athena's tension for more then one reason. "Yes, I have. I'm taking a break from the tango.", she stated. Not even looking at James. Her voice was tight and he knew she was probably thinking of being more careful for her future cubs.

She was on the down low as the popular red head and as the tigress whom the hunter was hunting. Soon enough she got up and finished her steak. Scrapping the fat into the trash. Before she elbowed James in the stomach as she put the dishes in the sink. Now she just waited on Melanie to finish up.

Melanie had gone silent as soon as James entered, and tensed up when she felt the tension in the air. She ducked her head a bit, and kept eating. Soon after she finished. She was glad to be full and clean. She scraped the fat from the meat into the trash as well, not even glancing at James. She put her plate in the sink, wondering if this meant James was gonna drag her back to her cage.

James LeoHe watched Athena now walk with Melanie. More then likely to her room. Soon he seen Athena letting Melanie carry a couple of her books. And a few changes of clothes. All he did was continue to eat his chips. Athena said a few more words to Melanie only to walk out. After patting her shoulder. Then Athena said nothing to him. He just licked his fingers and gently led Melanie to the cage. And now he sighed. Putting the clothes away in a cedar chest on the other side of the cage.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnGently she tapped Melanie. Then led her to her room. Showing a room filled with books, DVDs, and CDs. They were all stuck in real wood book cases. Which gone up to the ceiling that was eight feet tall. As they lined the ten foot long wall. She let Melanie take a couple of books. With a good LED light to read in the dark. Even gave her some old and unused clothes. Returning her to the kitchen. She sighed inwardly. "Look I should be able to hang with you tomorrow. Okay?", she hugged the girl. Then looked at James. "I'm going out for more virgin drinks.", she stated. Then she left them now. Sighing outwardly finally.

Melanie was more than happy to leave the room. She stared up at the huge bookcase, obviously impressed. It was practically a library here. She was happy to have a few changes of clothes. When she said she could probably many out tomorrow, Mel nodded. "Thanks for everything today." she said.
When James took her back, after putting some things away, she sat on the mattress, silent again. She looked at the floor, not wanting to read until he left. Unfortunately he seemed to like staying there.
