Heyhey. I go by Poppi here on gaiaonline and have been a member for about one year. I've had a love-hate relationship with the roleplaying community (just as I constantly have a love-hate relationship with my English classes) and am looking to improve all aspects of my writing. If you've got ConCrit, please, please, please dish it out mercilessly. On a side note, I'm 18 and I'm from China. Where exactly, I won't say. I speak English, German, and Chinese, and am looking to learn Japanese.
I waste my time on looking up and listening to music, making graphics, writing, reading, roleplaying, glowstringing, and playing League. A lot of League. For those of you that want to know, I'm in Cardboard V and am currently sticking to yolo q in normals. Aside from that, I occasionally go out and see people, and occasionally pick a fight with my roommate. Oh, and I also watch anime.
Music is a giant topic for me. I tend to get touchy and bite people's heads off when discussing this subject because I feel so strongly about it. I'll say no more on this, just give y'all a brief list of what I'm currently listening to. If you'd like a full rant, go ahead and PM me.

{ COMBAT }{{: Aradia carries with her a belt of phials, herbs, gemstones and pouches; much of it is usually hidden behind various items of clothing. She fights mostly with her staff-sword, with both bolts of magical energy and the blade at one end. Her signature red cape, skirts, and armour coupled with her sods fighting style, have earned her the nickname "The Whirling Dervish".
{ PERSONALITY }{{: Aradia is a woman with a wit strange as it is sharp, and a tongue to match. She holds a great fondness for the quest of knowledge, languages, and partying and merriment in general. She's not one to act openly hostile, but her actions more than prove her intentions. Quite amicable and sociable, she makes little enemies on a daily basis, but it's a different story come war or hard times. She likes knitting and weaving, but has no great love for carpets. Though her natural demeanour may seem ditzy and nonsensical at first glance, her vast knowledge of the arcane and spirit world, and sufficient fighting prowess make her a values comrade in battle. She often makes strange or cryptic comments, but more often than not, there may be truth in her words.
{ BIOGRAPHY }}{: Not much is known of Aradia's life until recently. However, a good deal can be cobbled together from rumours and speculation. Among these, her favourite is the tale that she was the seventh daughter to a seventh son of a washerwoman and a troll king, and was abandoned by the roadside as the runt of the litter. After surviving seven days and seven nights alone, the baby was picked up by a savage of the north and brought back to his tribe as a sacrificial offering. The shaman of the tribe then saved the baby, proclaiming her unfit as a gift for the gods, and raised Aradia's as his own. There she lived until the age of twelve, until a woolly mammoth kidnapped the child and literally headed for greener pastures, after which she took up residence at a nearby village and made a living as a fortune-teller. When questioned about this outlandish story, Aradia will often defend it aggressively, citing her aversion to hot climates and her dislike of carpets as direct proof of the story. However, what is known for a fact about her either disputes or does does nothing to support her claims. Her vaguely tan skin would not support the idea that she spent her childhood up in the North, nor would it certify her stint as a village fortune-teller. Her stature, though short, is not stocky, like that of a troll. Aradia has accumulated a small fortune some time before appearing in the public view, and her staff-sword has been analyzed by a few weapon masters and parts of it have been determined to be of southern make, though the neighbouring towns have seen nothing like it before. Aradia's current residence and shop contain a good variety of artifacts from all over, which, though not readily accessible to the normal person, could, with the right connections, easily have been obtained through trade with merchants. Her clothes seem to be primarily a fusion of many different regional styles, but this small fact does not validate her birthplace, nor her shadowy origins.
