Deryk had just been keeping to himself as he filled out the mission report and turned it in. It was safe to say that he was feeling nervous as all hell. Caelius wasn't dead. That was confirmed. Not only that, but he was sort of fearing for what might happen here. And so he just sat where he was, twiddling his thumbs.

Dakota looked over at Eva and mentally...and eye contactly tried to tell her to stop. When she too admitted to disobeying orders, he sighed.
"It doesn't matter Clerise." He turned to Rep now instead and gave him a wide grin. "the only thing making you big and pufffed right now is sitting in your glorified seat of following orders. Don't worry though. We have a promise between each other. Next time, You won't be walking away from the field."
Dakota scraped up from his chair and headed out. Because ******** this.
"I don't give two shits about this anymore. I'm out." Consequences be damned.

Nevada just shrugged instead and nudged Lex's foot with her own.
"So that's the famed leader who died and came back to life? Seem's pretty intense...and angry. Wonderful hair though~"

Gale just munched on a cookie from Ofelia, sent an I'm fine look at Marcus, and then plucked a cookie out of the bag and offered it to Eva.

Blue eyes widened as Dakota made motion to leave. There was a visible tensing as Marcus's posture altered, half ready to drag the moon back. "Dakota-"
Could nothing ever be simple anymore?

The argument was too complicated to explain in detail to Clerise, the best he could manage was a vague sort of shrug as she looked between them. He hoped it said in very few words that trouble just found him, and it was usually his own fault.
When Dakota seemed to throw in the towel on the argument too and make to leave. He could only smirk smugly, he was winning all the arguments today, at least in his own head.
"Aye, I'll probably be strutting, dragging your unconscious a** to the infirmary."
Still, despite the bravado, he was feeling just a bit more stressed out than he was comfortable with, the room had a lot of people who wouldn't mind him dead, and he couldn't even keep an eye on them all. He felt stretched.

Eva opened her mouth to give Clerise the details she lacks, but she froze as her gaze met Dakota's. There was a moment of pause, and then she sighed, clamping her mouth shut. After a few seconds ticked by, she offered a quiet, "Well, it's over now. If we're here to be punished for it, so be it, but I can't say that I regret it."
She was frowning when she turned back to look at Dakota, half-rising from her seat when he pushed back his chair and stood up. "Sit down, Gumdrop," She murmured, keeping her voice low as her gaze flickered towards Caelius and then back, "I know you're upset, but we've been called here for a reason. We should...probably stick around until we're dismissed." And even if it was Caelius who had called them here, she was going to sit through and listen in case there was anything important.
She was starting to feel a little antsy herself, so it was with surprise that Eva snapped out of the tension to find a cookie being offered to her. Blinking, she turned to look at Gale, her expression blank for a moment. Then, with a little grin and a quiet word of thanks, she took the offered cookie, sat back down, and began to nibble on it.
She kept her worried gaze on Dakota.

"Yeah, that's him." Lex murmured, nudging her feet a little more as he continued to talk. Mr. Crazy was watching, so his voice went down by a few decibels. "Not sure how he survived, really. Probably held together by all his hate and anger, like some weird Casper gone wrong." He was teasing, of course.
"All I know is that I hope we can get away from him as soon as possible."

"You're just terrible," Sasha tapped the toe of her shoe against Wash's calf, watching him fill out his paperwork. Her voice dropped. "Maybe we should get you button-up shirts, too." Eyebrow waggle.

Mimsy closed her eyes, leaned back in her chair, and mentally reworked everyone's conversations into dialogue which indicated that this was a mature, productive working environment, as she'd been promised it would be.

Nevada just smiled. At the scrape of the chair, she watched the moon hunter carefully as he attempted to leave. Even being a newbie, she knew better than that.
A superior was debriefing.
A superior was giving orders.
"Guess he's made of steel, grit and immortal juice. Think he might be a robot? or cloned?" She turned her voice low as well before tapping her paper. The amount of animosity was starting to annoy the girl. This was work. If they had issues then they needed to take it outside of work.
"So Lex, When do we get to have another sleepover?" She smiled, attempting to further ignore the people.

Ofelia smiled as she watched Rep seem to start breaking down. Must be hard to be the only fish in a room full of sharks, or so she thought, and the teen whistled a sort whistle to get his attention before tossing a cookie his way.
"Fer the record, food isn' always the answer but chocolate always helps when yer feelin' stressed." She shrugged at the end of it and ate another cookie. She had a 99.9% guess he was going to throw it onto the floor, crush it, or do something else douchey to it. Which was cool, let him waste food.

"No thanks. I'll be waiting in my room should any punishment happen." Dakota shrugged off Eva and Marcus's concerns. At this point, He'd rather take it himself then have the other two suffer. "Why don't you two just mind yourselves instead." The words came out a little harsher then they should've, especially to his two friends who had done nothing but been friends.
Instead he zipped his mouth and seriously headed for the door. Seriously, his a** was grass anyways. So what did it matter if he left a stupid ******** debriefing early.

Rep was always one to live up to expectations and though he had no idea how she had any inkling he was stressed, he wasn't about to confirm what had to be a guess.
"I told you I'm not eating ******** cookies in a briefing. And don't ******** patronise me." and true to form, he flicked it out of his way and onto the floor. Or well, it was meant to be the floor, it landed in Jerry's lap instead.

Dakota's words stung a little, but Eva knew better then to hold them against him. After all, he was upset--understandably so. She managed a quiet, "...'kay" before settling back in her chair and nibbling at her cookie.
Please let this meeting be over soon.
