"Yeah," Harrison said, "I mean, my mom and s**t's not here, but... you're here-"

He locked eyes with Rep for a moment before registering Melvin's far-off hinting.

"On it, hold your horses," he said, going to get some of the folding chairs he and Rep had leaned against the wall earlier.

Melvin smiled at Harrison. "I wasn't rushing at all." He said sweetly, though he was.

He turned back to Rin. "Great. The plates and silverware are right.." He slowed down, looking around. "...right around....here...somewhere..." He looked about, swearing he had placed them somewhere where they wouldn't fall over and break or get in the way.

"I think in the kitchen? Let me check." He knew they were somewhere. Damn. He should have made a note.

Stuff who in the what now?

Otto's vision went orange as the short girl shimmied herself in such a way her huge hair blocked his view. He stopped moving just in case he walked into a wall. "I don't like crowds." He mumbled grumpily. Her dare made him want to gag. "Canned Turkey?" So gross. "We may as well mould a few cans of spam into a damn bird at the rate." He hoped she didn't take that seriously.

"Yeah sure, I'm a chicken-turkey. Ain't no way I'm makin' a fool of myself gorging on fake meat." He then smirked evilly for a split second. "But I know for a fact your gaping face hole could handle it."

Her offer, however, did get his attention.

"Hm.... fine. I'll stay." But if she broke that promise? Oh there would be Hell to pay. Something far more sinister than bubble gum in her roots, that was for sure. He had a feeling she probably had gum in there already, anyway.

The southerner moved out of the kitchen now that hazel had all of her random crap, and stopped near the table where others seemed to be setting up. Jerry, Jordan... "Good lord this is hokey.. Aight yer here, git offa my back, Gingersnaps." He shook the short little girl on his back, trying to get himself free of her vice grip.

"Ah, no problem! I'll make sure we have everything else! Thanks, Minerva!" As the other trainee went off to grab the eggs, Eva worked on rushing around the kitchen in search of flour and butter, neither of which were very hard to come by considering all the cafeteria food consisted of was...pretty much things made from those two ingredients. She prepared a number of mixing bowls and utensils as well, and by the time Minerva had returned, they were all spread out on one of the counters.

She grinned when she saw the eggs, giving her a thumbs up. "Six is good! We technically only need two, but uh, in case something goes wrong..." Because with Eva baking, there were a number of things that could go wrong. Making sure that her hair was tied back, she washed her hands and then gestured to the gathered ingredients.

"Want to make the filling while I make and bake a crust real quick? All you'll need is..." She began to list off a rather short list of ingredients, which really just consisted of throwing everything into a bowl and whisking until smooth.

Rin raised a brow before looooking where Melvin disappeared and then slunk off towards Rep's direction.

"So... chairs, huh?" Rin peered up at Rep searchingly.

Truthfully, Minerva had never touched a pumpkin pie recipe before then. Her mother was more of the pie baker than anyone else, most of the time leaving the trainee to watch from a stool, gather a few items she might need, and then prompted to press start on the oven.

So working with Eva was both nerve-wrecking as well as exciting. Fortunately, Minnie was a fast learner, but she remained thankful for the other woman's knowledge and guidance, and nodded her head before throwing the ingredients together. "Sounds good!" Grabbing a hold of the second whisk available, she let a silence linger for a few moments before filling it with conversation. "I'm really glad we were able to do this. I feel like it's been ages since I've had a good meal!" Leaning against the counter, still stirring away, Minnie continued. "We'll have to remember to thank Melvin for setting all of this up." Or at the very least, Minerva would have to remember to do so. First introduce herself, and then thank him.

She whisked with one arm until it was sore, and then switched to another, doing this several times over until the result met Eva's specifications. Soon the pumpkin filling was a smooth, brightly colored mass in the bowl and Minerva was a beaming trainee ready for the next step. "All done! How's the crust coming along?"

Rep gave Rin a slow blink. "Why would there be a ******** trick to unfolding a chair, it's not meant to be a magical puzzle its meant to be for setting your arse on." He let the second chair-based fatality drop to the floor and picked up another one, just holding it up for Rin. "Feel free to try though."

Rep gave Rin a gobsmacked look as she deftly unfolded the chair. She was a wizard.

"Awesome man, you are like the ******** chair whisperer."

He set it down and picked up a different chair.

"Another!"
