Maggie was almost there. She could tell the ram on the other end was tiring. But the ram still had some fight left it seemed.

Maggie had underestimated this ram. It was fighting harder than she anticipated. It was also being sneaky about it's actual strength, and she hoped she could wrangle the darned thing.

The real reason for Petro's approach was to talk to Professor Red. But that sounded too suspicious an action for him and while the werewolf had invited him to come see her when ready, Tro wasn't entirely ready.
However, he'd made the mistake of entering the pen and accidentally stepped on one of the ram's tails and got trampled as a result.

Petro was about to apologize when he spotted the same ram charge at him. The minipet's horns hit him on the leg, though his shin guards took the brunt of the damage. With his foot, the tikbalang gave back in kind. Just a gentle kick, mind you. He wasn't really big on a minipet that reminded himself of home.

THIS IS IT, STUDENT TO MINIPET!"'M just here to see Professor Red, stand down," the tikbalang warned when he saw the ram was pawing at the ground, head aimed low. But when it came charging at him, the monster horse got down on his knees, shot his arms forward, and managed to grab the minipet by the horns. The impact pushed him back an eighth of an inch, earning the monster horse's respect but all the same, he lifted the mini and body slammed it hard on the ground.
"Y' could've avoided alla this," Petro lectured.

Miyako skipped back to the ram pen. She paid the 5 silver, and grabbed the rope happily. She enjoyed this game, out of everything this was the one game that made her happy, even when she lost. Because the neko always had fun trying, and because the rams were so cute. So she threw the rope and tried to pull in one of the rams.
The ram was pulling a little harder though.

This time the ram almost pulled her to the ground. She wasn't having very much luck this time, but it didn't stop her from trying or from smileing happily.

Either she was way to tired, or that ram was way to determined to not be caught. She didn't mind though. She enjoyed being there watching the rams run around in their pen.
