And I am not cutting it!I plan to have long hair until I die. 4laugh I'll be one of those grannies who wears her hair up in a grey bun. My mom had long hair up until she was 50-something too. Now she likes it short, for ease of washing/brushing/caring. (I don't like it when hers gets cut too short.. but she doesn't seem to care much about looks anyway. She stopped shaving her legs and armpits a while back too. I've gotten used to it on her, and fortunately, being asian, she doesn't have much body hair.)

body hair growth slows down as people get older, have you noticed thet?
my Nan's 80 and she has hardly any hair on her legs, it seems to want to grow out of her chin instead now lol

Brbidll Ok, here I am... What do you all think?? I think I like the other shoes better. Those ones don't seem to be quite the right colour to match with everything else. smile And I think the grey hair would still look better. It has a kind of blue hue to it that is more like the blues in the outfit. Again, that blue is adding in another shade of blue that isn't really repeated anywhere else. But I like the shirt and the anklets. They look snazzy. smile

Don't forget I grew up in California and landed in Nevada where the only long hair you see on middle aged and middle aged + women are the former 60's flower children types, the drunk women propped up to the bar until closing time or the ones (here) who think they will still be mistaken for a showgirl or a cocktail waitress. Maybe I am feeling like your mom must have felt fawn, the older I get the less I want to be bothered with long hair and all the work when in my case I will just feel I look silly anyway rofl and, yes, I agree there is a limit to how short, but off the shoulders is so nice (which mine is NOT right now and I am hating)

simlizzy and, yes, I agree there is a limit to how short, but off the shoulders is so nice (which mine is NOT right now and I am hating) Yeah I don't mind my mom's when it's a length between her chin and shoulders, but sometimes she gets it cut to like.. half ear length and it's too short! My aunt in florida has hers at the shorter length I like, between chin and shoulders. On ME, the shortest I've ever had it since I was a tot was just past my shoulders, and that was dreadfully short on me! I usually like it bra-strap length, but lately it's been waist-length mostly because I've forgotten about it and it's just grown!

you're lucky that you can do that, mine grows slowly and splits easily, so if i don't get it trimmed regularly it gets really straggly, so it never manages to get very long sad

Oh I guess I should say that punkiebean is Toni's account. She wants ducks like Lizzy, hair like Rue, shades like Jelly, and to be able to catch bugs and flowers like everyone else rofl And the thread looks great!! I love some of those images on ther, very nice heart
