Dogsbane finally crossed the finish line, after which he collapsed and looked up at the sky. Was this really worth it? He was making a fool of himself.

Falcon was starting to feel tired from all these races. He would keep pushing himself though back up the hill. He concentrated on pushing his legs making them work on pushing him up this hill. He wanted to finish as one of the first places. He knew get was fast and this was gist chance to prove it. He just needed to concentrate and go as hard as get could.

Falcon felt that these races were starting to tire him. For now he had to push through his weariness and just finish the race. If he did well he would at least be much closer to being a runner. Tonight he would rest up and be ready for the race tomorrow. So he thought about hospital footing and pushed through his tiredness. He kept his legs going, he was not too far from the top of the down.

 Charcoal had managed third in the last race. He'd ridden on the high of actually being impressive all day. Now he was raring to go again. No more mister nobody. If he did good in two of the next three races he'd be a runner. He wanted to be a runner! So he patiently waited for the starting yell.

A good start. Not great but good. It put him in the middle of the pack. But he'd learned that being in the middle of the pack wasn't necessarily a bad place from the last two races.

He slipped slightly, falling towards the back and losing speed. But the race was young he could make up the pace if he tried hard enough. He righted his footing and dug in, trying to catch up.

Thicket wasn't too pleased with where he'd placed yesterday. He wanted to show that he had what it took, so he stretched himself and took off down the hill.

His start was slow, but better a slow start than a painful stumble while traversing down the hill.

He lost his footing and started to panic and skid, sliding all over the place. Fearfully, he attempted to catch himself before the skidding got worse.

He managed to pull himself out of the slide and continued to bound down the hill, picking up speed that he could actually control. He was breathing heavily; that skidding hadn't been fun at all!

His landing wasn't the prettiest, but he'd made it! He leapt to the bottom of the hill, where Crow was waiting. Taking just a moment to catch his breath, he steeled himself for the return trip.

Incredibly embarrassed, Thicket attempted to throw himself back into the race. He knew he wasn't going to place well now, but he would finish this with dignity.
