Tenka had no chance to avoid it, but Shina had known that. He had done his part, absorbing one last attack. "Annabell, back out! Whirlpool to finish it!" Shina called, swapping the unconscious Tenka for Annabell. Annabell directed her attention to the vortex, commanding it to spin higher and faster.

Elesh Norn was hit by the wall of water, and Mephistopheles floated down as the darkrai was returned to her pokeball. Bowing slightly, the duskull's eye began to glow as he exerted pressure upon Shina's pokeballs again.
