Tedan swallowed nervously at the mention of Insanity - remembering all too well the PHoenix incident spoken of. That had been a ******** on a major scale. And now the effects were back? Wonderful - just great. And he knew that the whole thing about only observing would probably turn out to be bullshit. Glancing around as various people began teaming up, he kind of edged toward Wilson and Madeline. "Hey. You guys mind having a third person with you?" If they did, he'd find someone else, but it never hurt to ask, right?

Madeline was there the whole time.

At least physically.

Frowning as she drifted back down to earth when she heard Wilson, and maybe Arsen, who was complaining about her lack of attractable qualities. "Of course I am." She grinned at Wilson smoothly. "We're brain twins after all, aren't we?" She bumped her shoulder into Ami's shamelessly with a bubbling laugh, nodding to Wilson and giving him a little mock bow.

"Ready when you are."

At the suggestion of buddying up, Lex searched the room while chewing his lower lip. Who to group with....

Ami. Yes. She was analytical, would take great notes, and was one of the few people she actually knew on this island so far. He approached her casually with a smile, giving a wave to the girl with her.

"Ami, hi."

Infinity squinted from where she'd been leaning against the wall, arms crossed and clearly wondering what the ******** was in store for them this time. What Clarice wrote out on the whiteboard didn't sound....to terribly bad. Right? Maybe. And they would get cookies and milk for being good little children afterwards. Gah! She was not fond of that Haunted House. But, if she was ever going to improve her skill - aside from training obviously - she needed to face actual opponents.

:: That's the spirit! We'll go kick some a**. :: Vashi murmured with glee, seeming to have quite pouting so much now that he was a back in weapon form again.

:: I just hope this doesn't turn out horrible. :: Fini complained to her partner.

With a heavy sigh, Fini turned and followed after the other hunters towards the portal, some of whom were familiar. Maybe she could just snag a partner when she got there? Yeah. That sounded like a good plan.

Sherry could practically feel the lindwyrm rolling over with interest in her head.

It's insanity. Sherry looked at the board. Sure. The mission said it was mostly observation, but Sherry knew nothing could be predicted. Heck, groups were recommended for this. Insanity. Like that giant bird. Or that dragon thing. You remember those, right?



Sherry rolled her eyes. "Alright," she whispered. We both know we're going anyway, so I don't know why you had to comment.



I know. It was a good point, and something they had discussed at length. But not something Sherry felt like discussing now. Right now, focusing on the mission seemed like the best route.

So, Sherry made her way towards the portal. She could sort out any groupings or whatnot once there. The longer she lingered behind, the more annoying Armagnac was likely to become.

"Wilson, buddy...hey." A nervous smile, and a glance at the ground. "Feeling...level headed today?"

Awk.

"Ah...don't be. We all have our days." Lex rubbed the back of his neck, looking over at that really interesting crack in the wall oh dear God in Heaven this was the most awkward thing.

"It's fine, really."

"So...can I be in a group with you guys?"
