Looking at the booth Maiko thought it looked rather nice. She raises a brow as she sees the boxes of tiny packages. "Trading cards?" She thought to herself. She seen that "Ace" was apparently giving away booster packs for free. Well she shrugged thinking 'why not?' She could always give the cards to Miyako later if she didn't want them. That cat loved everything. So Maiko took one and opend it to see what she got. Pepzilla Uncommon Rarity: 85-94 [Redeemable for SE mini Tier 1]x2? Hissing with delight he took the card from Marigold and chuckled giddily as he 'processed' it into his collection. She was given her reward and a wink for good luck. Seemed a lot of lady lucks were visiting his booth lately. Where did that Horsewoman and that Valk ghoul go anyway?

Oooh, what this? A booth just reopened. Bea was making her rounds and noticed there were a particular booth like no one else. A car game... and free package of cards? The wrapper seemed shiny like a sparkly aluminum, how strange. She carefully opened the pack to find all the cards are common.
"Oh, is that a silver seed?" Bea waved it over to Ace who was manning the booth, "I got a money card! I got a money card! What does that do?" she was excited to get something she recognized but she had no concept of what this game was. Either way, it was pretty fun to her that she got to keep some souvenirs from card game booth.

If Ace wanted to get someone addicted, he was definitely succeeding with Danny. A tiny pile of cards had amassed next to her as she continued to open free packages. You could be sure as soon as she got home, she'd be calling her parents to buy her a truckload full of the shiny ones. She opened another pack of cards nervously, eager to see if she'd found anything worthwhile. When she did, she was greeted with a shiny card.
A SHINY CARD.
Her excitement fell as she realized it was the same one she had before. Aww. Awwww. She turned to Ace and nonchalantly said, "You want this?" She'd lost the air of confusion now, simply speaking to Ace like an old friend. She was an expert at trading cards and examining them.

Now Bea was a new face to the greed demon. He'd seen her pins floating around, but Ace had no idea that they belonged to her or who she was or anything really. Snickering at her response the demon flashed her a promo card ticket. "It really doesn't do much outside of the game. But here's a trinket for trying."
Ace then turned to Danny who was offering him a nice and shiny card. He held her hand and plucked the card out and replaced in her palm a ticket. "Yes I do," he replied.

Marigold watched as more students came and got packs. She brightened and got herself another, tearing it open and finding "Shinyyyyyy!!!" and promptly giving the RARE-HOLO Hellma to Ace.

As a Reaper who used a deck of cards as her weapon, Belladonna was more inclined to like cards than most. It was a wonder she had yet to discover such a wonderful booth yet, but when she caught the sight of cards, she darted over with all the haste she could muster. Sure to plaster a cute face on (because who could say no to the little witch who looked all sweet and sugary?) the witch received her pack and thanked the demon absently before she tore into the package. It was mere plastic and if she was going to treat these cards with respect, the first thing to do was get them out of this gaudy packaging! Excitedly the witch flipped through the cards to see what she had gotten. With wide eyes she looked at all her cards, excited to see all the different little things on them. Some were items, some had places and even one or two had a teacher's face she recognized. But then the witch caught something shiny and her face lit up. "OOOOoooohhhhh~" She cooed appreciatively as she twisted the sparkling Arel card this way and that, liking the little glitter in the card. With a wave to the demon, the witch presented him with the card. "I get something for this, yes?" Belladonna batted her eyelashes, just as extra incentive. Coming back for another chance at some cards, Poke ripped open the packaging and looked at her cards intriguing. This time, she didn't feel like parting with any of them, thinking she could keep them for a while (say, a deacade or so), and trade them off then when they were worth a ton. So instead, she picked up a promo card and thanked ace for the booster pack. Pepzilla Picking up a consolation prize if thats okay <3

Making his way back towards the TCG booth, Aedan nodded at Ace in greeting, looking a bit rueful (carrrrrds!), as he accepted another booster pack, peering into it curiously.
Mostly commons, but he'd gotten one card that he could trade in--the question is, did he want the card, or one of the minis?

(( from here )) Aymet ripped open his booster pack delightedly. Trading cards were THE BEST, and he was keeping ALL of his. The dracolich shuffled the ten cards in his claws.
