She had learned a great deal from failing the time before and was happy to see that Jay had reappeared. Grabbing the leaves she stuffed the seep, taking note that last time too many had been... catastrophic for her tea. "So far so good." She mumbled to herself, taking the kettle of water and throwing up the flame. Iyari blinked as she poured the tea.

Apparently if water could catch on fire she would have done an excellent job.

Then it time to set. It was the same as it had been before. Impatience was ugly and she couldn't help it when it came to shoving the tea at the little imp. Glaring at it didn't seem to help any and it coughed, nearly gagging over it.

"Feh."

Perhaps she should be banned from attempting to make tea...

"Can't be good at everything I suppose." She commented, looking back to Jay with a small smirk. "Figures you'd be better at it than I would be." It was nice to see Jay excel at something outside of the norm. Nodding as her friend took one of the delicious bits of food sitting out.

A treat sounded nice.

Taking one of the balls she bit into it. There was a salty sort of flavor that she was unsure of and she swallowed it down. "Huh." She didn't particularly like it, but there was a uniqueness to it that she enjoyed.

"These things are kind of addicting, aren't they Jay?" She turned, but the jaybird was already on her second. It made her smile as she grabbed another herself. She made a large, carnivorous bite into the ball, smiling happily as the delicious flavor popped into her mouth.

"Mmmm." She chewed it and smiled as she finished it, staring at the plate, then back to Jay. "I think this might be one of my favorite things here." There was a grin on her face as she wiped her mouth clean.

"Maybe just one more..."

The tea aroma quickly caught Wilson’s attention. He stopped in his tracks and lifted his head before he took another couple of sniffs. Was the smell coming from…? It took him a while, but the hunter eventually found the booth he was looking for. There was not only onigiri—that was nostalgic, he hadn’t had once since his college days with his weeabo friend—but tea making as well. Actually, upon closer inspection there was even a place to make tea cups! Wow, he had definitely never done that before. He would have to try that out eventually. Wilson went to make some tea first. However, when he got there he couldn’t find a lot of tea leaves. Curious, Wilson spun around and searched for them, but in the end he was only able to sprinkle in a few leaves. He frowned and rolled up his sleeves. That wasn’t a good start.

He kept a careful eye on his tea as he waited for the water to warm to just the right temperature. Wilson wished he had a watch to keep track of the time. It was easier for him to get the perfect temperature that way, but alas living dolls apparently had no need for wrist watches. Not even a pocket watch. The water was bubbling, but maybe it was a little too much? He couldn’t tell, but at least it wasn’t extremely hot.

It was the steep time that got him. While Wilson didn’t have a watch with him, he could at least gauge the approximate time. Arms folded over his chest, Wilson intently eyed his pot of tea and watched the leaves swirl slightly within the mixture. He probably would have gotten the perfect time if it wasn’t for the distractions idling around the booth. The crowdgoers behind him were chattering loudly and a certain bluejay horseman was munching rather noisily as well. Wilson furrowed his brows and attempted to concentrate.

That…didn’t work out so well. When he poured out a cup of tea for the daeva, the minipet only spat it out. The hunter hastily sidestepped to avoid the spray of tea. “No good?” he sighed. What a bummer. Usually his tea was alright.

Gale slunk through the booths with an expression similar to that which he usually wore when he wasn't even in a golem. He'd already been chased and almost set on fire (fortunately he had escaped just in time), and he had yet to find a minipet to bring back to headquarters.

It was starting to get ridiculous.

The Tea Booth, however, came as a welcome surprise. Tea was something of a personal favorite of Gale's, and he inhaled the sharp spices emanating from the booth.

Hopefully this was a booth that would not stress him out.

The first part of the brewing went relatively well, and he almost had it down pat - but unfortunately for Gale, he pulled it out too soon and the flavor was rather watery. But it still smelled pleasant, and Gale looked down at the cup, the corners of his lips twitching a little.

He cleared his throat, looking at the booth owner.

"Could I, ah...perhaps ask for one of these lovely pets here?"

The next one was much better, and despite it not having a prize, Gale was relatively satisfied with it.

Kemnebi was starting to get the munchies and looked around for a booth that could fix that. She didn't see one, but she could definitely smell it. Following her nose, she made her way to a tea booth she hadn't been to, yet. They had tea brewing, and onigiri. Cute Onigiri.

But first, she was going to try and brew some tea. At this point, even if it turned out horribly, she'd probably down the brew gratefully.

Frowning down at her teapot and the leaves that were sitting to the side of it, Nebi grabbed a small handful and added them. Staring at the leaves inside her pot, it looked like too much. She took just a pinch out and nodded, satisfied with the amount. Smiling, Nebi put the pot over the flame and watched it until it was bubbling merrily along. Perfect.

She set the tea to steeping, watching it closely. She misjudged it a little and the tea was thicker than it really should be. Still, the overall effect didn't seem bad. Nebi poured a cup and pushed it to the little pixie to try it. Kemnebi downed the rest of the pot herself. Mmmm, delicious.
