X-Hyperion-X Though the end may have justified the means for him, that does not necessarily make his intentions goods in anyway whatsoever. Speakign through morality, his intentions were obviously quite evil. From manipulating the Jenova/Sephiroth to kill Aeris, to the fact he wished to destroy much of the planets population through meteor in order to gain strength from the lifestream, his intentions were very much malicious. Well, it all depends on whether or not you believe in an objective morality. MN does not, and therefore feels that Sephiroth was entirely justified in his attempt to destroy humanity and attain godhood. Conversely, someone who believes in moral absolutes would feel that Sephiroth is evil, because destroying human life is evil. They are merely two different opinions - neither one is necessarily "right"...

Before joining this guild, it had generally been my belief that the Sephiroth we see during the course of the game was a sort of spiritual entity of the real Sephiroth, this perhaps being because of his experiments with Jenova or just because he was so strong that he could still come back after his physical body was dead. As I read more threads of this guild, a lot of people believe that the Sephiroth we see during the game was actually a part of Jenova in the form of Sephiroth. This argument does seem to make sense and has some backing because Jenova has the ability to change shape. It would be an interesting debate, but personally I like to believe in the first theory.

Sephiroth can slice you six feet away. Thats low. Sephiroth should get a shorter sowrd.

That's not really the point.....he's powerful with or without Masamune. As you see in Advent Children, he kicked Cloud a couple of times and also when playing in the flashback in Final Fantasy VII, he uses very strong spells like Quake 4 and other ones to that caliber. Even still, when playing in the flashback, have you taken the time to look at his Materia? That's more than enough.

I'm pretty sure the game never specifies. One can only speculate its true length. You could always compare it to his height. He's like.... 6'2'', right?

Sephiroth is wicked; his sword is longer than himself, and that's just too cool for words. Even without a long sword, he still has plenty of righteous materia (that you would notice if you used cheat codes to play as Sephiroth in FFVII). SEPHIROTH IS THE FOXIEST VILLAIN EVER...

Well you know what, this is the About Sephiroth thread so yah kno...u can beat it....make an about Vincent thread or sumthing...
but yes...I almost got the Sephiorht sword one time...It was a a renisanse festival...
