Dusty launched another electro ball at the Kangaskhan. Then, she tried to fly away to avoid an attack. Unfortunately, the opponent bit her tail when she was in the air, then she slammed Dusty into the ground.
Natalie covered her eyes with her free arm.

Suddenly her face was pressed into the dirt as something stepped on her, painfully grinding her into the ground. Getting a mouthful, she spit it out and groaned, her body hurting all over at this point.

Zeke had backed away from the mayhem as far as he could before rereleasing the golbat. They weren't completely out of the mess, but he couldn't really go any further, and he gave the golbat his one and only Revive. If he would have realized what a mess they were going to walk into, he would have gathered more supplies on the ship, but it was just supposed to be a calm little adventure. So much for that.
"Easy, boy." he said, reassuring the squeaking golbat. "You're okay."
Or mostly anyway. The golbat caught a stray attack from the other pokemon, causing Zeke to frown. "Shake it off. We're still alright."
A gift exploded at the Kangaskhan's side, and she retaliated with a stomp that knocked Caddie over. The Delibird scrambled to her feet again, presenting her flippers to the much bigger Pokémon like a boxer. "Brrr!"
Fin grinned. "Yeah, go, Caddie!"

Spinel had a new idea. He snuck up behind the Kangaskhan, using his small size and the chaos to his advantage. Then he pounced on her tail, smacking it hard with a Rock Smash. Before she could even turn around and get a good look at him, he darted away again into the crowd.

Spotting another clear shot, Annabell attacked with Ice Beam. The attack seemed to hit with more power than usual, which had the unfortunate effect of drawing the Kangaskhan's attention and a counter-attack.
Anjali jumped towards the Kangaskhan again, absolutely furious that it was still standing. Why hadn't they defeated it yet?! With an irritated snarl, she managed to bite into the beast hard, but it knocked her away. Ugh! Faint already!

Rumble charged forward, aiming another rock throw attack. Slowly but surly the kanga's health was dropping. He couldn't give up now, everyone was giving it their best effort.

"Kumiko, come back!" Ai shouted again, trying to sound assertive enough that the mew would obey. But her voice was lost in the sounds of the attacking pokemon and the kangaskhan's angry roars.
Kumiko growled and scratched, flying around the kangaroo-like pokemon's head. He was starting to tire out, but he wouldn't give up yet.

"Come here Dusty..." Natalie pulled out an Enigma Berry.
Dusty flew back to Natalie, and quickly ate the berry. She was full of energy and was ready to fight. The Kangaskhan charge toward the Emolga, who was next to Natalie. Dusty flew away from Natalie so the Kangaskhan won't hurt her trainer.
