Another close call! Dreidyn was tempted to just throw the disc with all her might but that wouldn't accomplish much. She forced herself to calm down and concentrate. Shuffleboarding was srs business.

"Oh! I did that well?" Dreidyn said, pleasantly surprised. She gratefully accepted the prizes and bidded the old people farewell for now. She would've liked to go back to the deck, but Lotus had other ideas. Hearing the cries of wingulls in the distance, she sped over to there and Dreidyn had no choice but to follow her to the poop deck.

Approaching the group hovering around the shuffleboard, Iovi decided to join in the familiar game. She'd seen her daddy play it many a time on one of his business cruises she sometimes was allowed to go on. Not bothering to even ask if it was alright for her to play as well, she grabbed a tang and her biscuits (the name of the stick and discs used in the game) and went right ahead and started playing, oblivious to who's turn it might be.

After such a strong start it was a little disappointing to do well, but not stellar.
Oh well, at least she was more in her element. Iovi figured she'd give it one last go before going on her way.
