Almas was just about to confront Havi on being late when she gave her explanation, then proceeded to go on about someone coming. Then, she proceeded to chastise him! He threw his hands up in mock surrender and gave a nervous laugh. "Alright, alright! No need to bite my head off!. I will have something done about them when we get back...which we were just about to do...since someone was really late getting here." He shot her a look, but then turned his attention in the direction that Havi had just come. His persona immediately sobered up as he prepared himself to protect the group. Until he figured out if they were friend or foe, he had to be on his guard.

Almas nodded slightly. "Hm...hopefully they don't have any intention of starting a fight. Havi over here is being overly polite. It's creepy..." He was about to lift his hand and scratch the back of his head absently, when he heard footsteps and immediately turned to draw his sword. When he saw the woman, he relaxed his stance a bit as he adressed Halliviere. "Havi, is this the person you saw? Because, correct me if I'm wrong, but she doesn't look like the type of person you would talk so 'nicely' about." Tilting his head a bit, he said, "In fact, she looks suspiciously like royalty." He turned to Queen Seira. "Your Highness...is this..." he didn't finish his sentence, the obvious question lingering in the air.

╔══════════════╗ ━━━ Lacuna ━━━ Head Mistress ╚══════════════╝ Not being phased in the least as the woman flew over her, she couldn't help but think briefly Hm. Amateur. Keeping her cool, as usual, she calmly walked up the path, hearing voices up ahead. Upon turning the corner, she saw the woman whom she had encountered before, a blonde man that looked a bit spacey, and another woman that had dark green hair and soft light green eyes. She assumed that, since they were both there, that the green haired woman was the Ean Queen that she was looking for. Suddenly getting more serious, her expression null and void of all emotion, her brow slightly furrowed, she walked forward, and as she got before the Queen, she immediately knelt and hung her head, completely ignoring the other two. "Ean Queen, I am here purely on business. I am the Head Mistress of the Arach clan, and I am here spreading news of our academy. Be they young or old, our teachers will be glad to spread our teachings with our fellow clans. We also teach guards, both new and in need of training..." She shot a quick glance up at the red Ean woman, and the blonde haired man, before closing her eyes once more and continued her formal bow. "Please forgive my sudden appearance, but it was necessary to spread the word before the winter storms settled on the mountain pass. I have traveled far, and plan on finishing my journey, if there is enough time in one day, to travel to the Iasc clan and spread the news there as well. That is my mission." She finished, staying in the kneeling position, her head still hung out of respect.
Just as she had finished speaking, her own Queen approached, and her immediate reaction was to remain in the kneeling position. "My Queen! I was not expecting to see you here. I am still on my mission." She spoke respectfully, her voice coming out loud and clear. ((Wow, I wrote a lot... lol And YES!!! Looks like there's some rivalry going on here... >] Wonder how Almas will react...))

☆═━┈┈━═☆ Seira noticed the woman, and heard her speak. After her words, she was surprised to see the approach of another woman, whom she could immediately tell was royalty. Hearing the words of the headmistress, she immediately knew who this was, and didn't know who to address first. She decided, as usual, royalty first, and outstretched both arms in welcome. "Welcome, Arach Queen! It is a pleasure to finally meet you! I'm sorry I haven't been able to travel, but we live the farthest away from your current location."

Almas's kept his guard up, but only in case he had to retaliate against the new woman. Other than that, he didn't bother to acknowledge the Arach 'teacher's' existence. Though he was still pretty young, he had been around long enough to recognize *cough* female dog *cough* when he saw one. Instead, he nudged the already exasperated red clad Ean woman and bought her attention to the other visitor with an urgent whisper. "Havi, enough pestering with the rude chick in," he finally turned to look her up and down, "questionable clothes... This woman here is the Arach Queen. Hopefully here to teach her subordinate about manners." He shot her a grin, then turned to the rude chick and gave her a charming smile, one that was outwardly gentlemanly and polite, but held an undertone that clearly said 'go to hell'. He then turned away from her, not giving her much more notice than to ignore her presence, in favor of adressing the new member of Royalty before them. He placed a hand over his heart and bowed deeply and dropped all hints of humor before speaking. "Welcome to Ean, Your Grace, Queen of Arach. I hope your journey was favorable. Forgive my forwardness in adressing those of higher stature. I am Sir Almas Ferrison of the Court of Ean. I am humbled in the presence of, not only our own grand Queen, but Your Highness, as well." He finished and rose again, once again taking his place near Queen Seira.

Halliviere sighed deeply, massaging her temple to relieve stress. She was starting to miss her shop dearly. 'Is this type of idiocy what Seira and Almas deal with everyday? Ah, how thankful I am to be but a simple blacksmith...' She lifted her head just long enough to roll her eyes at the traveler before she felt the guard nudge her. Giving him a curt nod, she turned as well. However, as previously stated, she was neither royalty, nor a member of the court guard. She was but a simple blacksmith. Like Almas, she bowed deeply, but did not raise from her bow or speak.

☆═━┈┈━═☆ Seira glanced at the other two, and her eyes narrowed slightly. She could tell that neither of them cared very much for the Head Mistress, as was her title. It irked her that they were reacting as such, considering that Almas hadn't even spoken to her yet. Shaking her head, she smiled warmly at the Arach Queen before turning to the visitor. "So, Head Mistress... I'm afraid I don't know much about your clan and its ranks, but at what level are you...? Like, the highest rank I could give is the First Knight, which is only given to those with undeniable honor and loyalty, and would sacrifice themselves over and over for me, their Queen. They would also have to be responsible enough to know their own weaknesses and strengths. Their sole duty is to stand by my side and protect me, no matter what." She glanced a bit curiously at Almas, wondering how he would react to this information, before turning to study the woman who still knelt before her. "I know it is unceremonious to ask this so suddenly, but I'm curious... I hope you'll forgive me." She added with a small smile, inclining her head forward in apology.

╔══════════════╗ ━━━ Lacuna ━━━ Head Mistress ╚══════════════╝ Lacuna felt unweary about this sudden question, standing from her kneeling bow to look questioningly at the Ean Queen. She seemed kind enough... After a few more moments of awkward silence, she began to reply. "It is understandable that you are curious, your Highness. After all, you are royalty, and deserve some form of explanation." She sighed softly, allowing her held air to be released before she inhaled softly once more before she began. "I am considered many things by my people. Overprotective, and untraditional are some of them. But I far outrank them when it comes to the safety and care for her Majesty. I want nothing but the best protection for her. After all, that is my job, and the others care more deeply for their silly books than they do their rulers' life, in my opinion. I am also the blacksmith of my people, and only make weapons to those that deserve it. I made my weapon when I was merely 6 years old, after all, with my grandfather's supervision." Her hand subconsciously wrapped around the handle of her blade, as if drawing forth some form of energy from it. She continued. "He considered me a prodigy, but I considered that a silly label. I always thought that if you can not back up what you say, you are worth your word. Which means if you lie and do nothing but show off your half assed moves, or show off your rank, then you are as bad as a liar, and I will not trust you. As I've also mentioned before, I am the Head Mistress of our Academy. Not only do you have to know everything that our school teaches, you have to be able to execute it effectively, meaning without flaw. I have been known to create amazing fighters out of nothing but arrogant little boys that think they're better than the world. I remind them that not everything is good and safe." She paused, then sighed heavily, slumping her shoulders ever so slightly, before standing back up straight and making eye contact with the Ean Queen. "Forgive me if I rambled... I've been holding that in for a long time. Forgive me, your Highness." She bowed once more, but a bow this time, not a kneel. Feeling she had spoken too much, she remained silent, not wanting to over or out speak anyone.

Halliviere snapped up from her possition and stared at Seira in shock. From her tone, she was well aware of the implications of her words. Not only had this woman disrespected her HEAD Knight upon just meeting him, but Seira herself pushed further, as if to further note Almas's inferiority. Hallivere shook her head in disappointment. Obviously, Seira had taken Halliviere's own words of introduction as some sort of offense, when she went so far as to be as polite as possible to show no ill will. Her personal grievances were her own, but she must have shown them accidentally. After all, Almas had noticed them as well. She let out a sigh, she had had quite enough for one day. Rook would be waking at any moment and the poor kit would cry for her. She turned to the two royals and bowed. "A true honor and a privilege to meet you, Your Highness, Queen of Arach, but I must be going. I have a few matters to attend to." She then turned to Almas and Seira, "Try not to cause trouble, Sir Knight, and good evening, Your Highness." She then turned began to walk away, only slowing to nod at the rude woman. "Head mistress slash blacksmith slash personal guard of her queen." She ignored the barely contained snicker as she walked towards the castle. She let out an annoyed sigh. She greatly missed her blacksmith's shop. The sound of a forging fire was always so soothing.
((OOC: Lolz, sorry, I simply cannot survive without a little drama in the story to spice it up ^^ wink )

Almas temporarily broke his professionalism to snicker. Personally, it didn't bother him at all what the inquiry implied. He was very much aware of what he was capable of, and he had yet to show it. Not that he needed to. In a sense, the only regret he had at that moment was now that Havi had gone, he felt as if his fun had come to an end. "Hn, looks like the fun and games are over...time to get serious...' Once again, his persona began to change. He wiped his face clean of emotion and stood proudly at attention, his newly forged blade was a comforting weight at his side. "Well, that is quite the lengthy allocade you have attained. It is an honor to be in the presence of someone at such a superior stature. I am humbled," he said, his voice cold and void of emotion. His eyes blank as he stared unfeeling and uncaringly at the woman. It was not praise so much as it was wellpracticed etiquette. "I, myself, am just a mere guard and have thusly not attained a rank as high as yours. I am sure you must be the very best of the best. However, it is exceedingly poor mannerisms to flaunt it. You are highly revered, as any can see. Please maintain the stature as such." He gave a short bow, for only the simple reason of dispelling the tension, though he knew his efforts would not matter much.

When the time comes for me and you to fight back to back...I will be sure to leave you to die... Wingless and useless.' Turning her narrow eyes upon the blonde man, Sir Ferrison as he was called apparently, she could feel her anger burn deep inside her belly. It wasn't what he said, exactly, that bothered her so, so much as it was the way he said it. His mannerisms didn't help him much either. Not forgetting her etiquette, but staying professional, she stepped up to him, being only a centimeter shorter. "Don't try and play coy. I know you don't like me. It's obvious, so there's no need to really hide it much longer by wasting your breathe. I don't need some petty Captain of the Guard attempting to falsely flatter me. The fact that you call yourself just a humble guard, and not Captain of the Guard and hold yourself in high standards, not to mention show me a little respect, means you are inexperienced and not that well trained, and that you trully are meant to just be a guard. Not something as honorable." She spoke, the venom in her tone practically dripping. She gave him one final mild glare before turning back towards the Ean Queen and bowing simply once more. "If you will forgive me, Your Highness, but I do not appreciate being treated like a criminal by both your blacksmith and this flightless bird without giving me much mind. It is unfair, the treatment I have been given, but there is nothing I can do. Once again, forgive me, Ean Queen... I did not wish to disrespect you or anyone else. It is just that apparently my presence is too much, and my welcome has been overstayed." She bowed briefly to her own Queen. "My Queen, I am sorry you had to witness this, and rest assured that I will finish my job, as requested. If you all will excuse me, I will now take my leave..." ((Haha, it's okay! I'm just posting this one now, and will post Seira's response later... I'm off to sleep now. x-x Night everyone! : D))

Almas did not so much as flinch at her immature temper tantrum, but calmy stated. "I had no intention of hiding my dislike for you. There is no point in lying. And I did not, by any means flatter you. As I stated before, it is only common courtesy. Despite your higher ranking, it seems that I am the one between the both of us with any professionalism. I care very little for your oppinions, but they are sorely out of place here. Please, try harder to maintain some dignity in the future." He did not so much as smirk at her, refusing to stoop to her level of arrogance. She may be an ally of Queen Seira, but she was no ally of his. 'What a spoiled brat.' He then turned towards the two royals and gave a short bow. "I do appologize for the display you just witnessed, but nothing more. I see no reason to ask forgiveness for showing courtesy and professionalism," again, his tone was empty, devoid of emotion.

"The fact that you bothered to reply at all is a sign that you are immature, and hold no self respect." Turning backt o the Ean Queen, who looked immensely confused and was glancing between the two of them, she bowed once more. "Thank you once more for your hospitality, but I'm afraid that I must be off. Please, take care of yourself, your Highness." She bowed briefly to her Queen before turning and beginning to walk away. ((O.O.C. Woooow.... That was a pure high class stand off. xD A temper tantrum? Really? lol))
